york man suspected of being a serial killer says she is giving him the benefit of the doubt for now. and in a new statement, she is also expressing sympathy for the victims and their families. the estranged wife of rex herman is speaking out. herman is accused of killing four women whose remains were found near gilgo beach on new york's long island in 2010. but his wife, asa is now questioning whether he could have committed the murders. >> like anybody with their spouse, you don't want to believe they're capable of this. he's accused of some heinous crimes and she wants to see and hear the evidence in the courtroom, not the media or the podcast. >> in a statement released by her attorneys yesterday, eller said, i will listen to all of the evidence and withhold judgment until the end of the trial. her lawyers adding that she visits herman weekly and still maintains that rex is not capable of the crimes he is accused of. eller filed for divorce in july after her husband was arrested, but remained at their long island home. she and her adult children
