love and taking care of their, their kids, you know, like then they were like going to the zoo. you know, like to have a nice day at the park. >> police say the baby survived the crash, listed in critical condition sunday, vilma franco brought her daughter to the growing memorial for the victims. her husband witnessed the crash and tried to help. >> obviously, i have my child. i have a kids and i. i don't want to imagine what the family feel in this moment, how hard it is for all the community. >> it's devastating. >> jody medeiros from walk san francisco, a nonprofit advocating pedestrian safety, is heartbroken by the crash. her group planning a vigil here monday afternoon. >> nobody should die this way. we shouldn't. our community shouldn't be losing members of our community this way, it's absolutely devastating. >> medeiros points to vision zero, san francisco's goal to eliminate traffic related deaths and injuries like that. >> we're not there means we need to be doing more. the city needs

some progress on that front. >> we do see the political process moving forward. there was a terrific meeting in jamaica. secretary blinken represented the united states, where haitian led haitian groups came together and decided on this transitional presidential council to appoint an interim prime minister. so that's a good thing. >> hundreds of american citizens are currently trapped in haiti. the u.s. government says it will organize a charter flight for them from a more stable area in the north of the country, but getting there could be difficult, with gangs also controlling the single highway to that region. bay area representative ro khanna is weighing in on the political battle that could get tiktok banned here in the united states , a bill that would require bytedance to divest itself of the video app or sell it passed the house last week by dances, the china based parent company of tiktok. this morning, khanna appeared on abc's this week. he voted against the bill and says it unfairly targets tiktok when the real concern concern should

be protecting data in general. >> two national security issues that proponents of the bill have cited. both are legitimate. one. will the data get to a foreign government? in this case, the chinese communist party? two will the chinese communist party have an influence on algorithms we can deal with both with a narrowly tailored law. let's ban any data going to a foreign country and protect american data. second, let's ban any foreign interference in a social media app, whether that's tiktok or another app. and by the way, those laws would also cover data brokers, which are selling data to chinese companies. so this bill is not actually addressing the issues. >> it's still unclear if or when the senate might take up the bill, but president biden has said he will sign it if it makes it to his desk. saint patrick's day celebrations are in full swing in the south bay, celebrated the holiday with a

high flying tradition. a saint patty's skydive capped the festivities at the hiller aviation museum in san carlos. yep that's a leprechaun leaping out of a helicopter and parachuting through the air. he landed at san carlos airport just outside the museum. there was face painting, planes painted green, and more leprechauns hidden throughout its exhibits. no pinches for children who forgot their green. just prizes for kids wearing the festive colors bagpipers there? dublin, ireland is the home of the holiday. thousands of people lined the streets of the irish capital to celebrate. organizers say this was their largest ever saint patrick's day parade with half a million spectators. saint patrick's day observes the death of the patron saint of ireland, but it's evolved into a celebration of irish culture around the world. and at the white house, the fountains were flowing green for saint patrick's day. inside, the president was hosting a brunch

at 57 and fairfield, concord and livermore are now in the 60s. they were in the 70s just an hour ago, so the winds as you notice, they're coming from the northwest. this is cooling things down and things definitely cool down along the beaches and around the bay. san francisco gusting up to 27mph. sfo 20 miles an hour. here's a live view of sfo where we see some of those low clouds coming in from the coast. so tonight the marine layer will move in low clouds and some patchy fog spilling into parts of the bay. tomorrow it's going to be sunny and even warmer. it will be the warmest day of the week and then enjoy it because at the end of the week, the rain returns have your umbrella handy. you're going to need it. the futurecast shows that the clouds will move in tomorrow morning. will make will wake up to some cloudy skies around the bay and at the beaches. and then by the afternoon we'll see lots of clearing. and then in the evening, monday night into tuesday morning, the clouds will fill in once again. things will start to cool down on tuesday.
