else's ticket. federal authorities are now launching an investigation, and it's not the first time this airport has been in the spotlight over security. >> this morning, the fbi is investigating how a man was able to board a delta flight in utah, allegedly without a ticket. authorities say 26 year old wycliffe lazard took photos of boarding passes on passengers phones at the airport in salt lake city, then used an image to gain access to the plane. flight attendants just before takeoff realized he did not have a valid ticket. they are on the taxiway found is closed. the incident comes less than three months after another security breach at the same airport in january. a man whose family says had mental health issues was able to run onto the tarmac and jumped into the engine of a plane, later dying. >> the air blades were circulating when officers arrived on scene. >> video show him trying to open a door with only a maintenance worker nearby. he eventually

found an emergency exit, gaining access to the tarmac. >> there wasn't anybody on surveillance video or there wasn't anybody with responsibility for security in the hallways that saw him. after he made several attempts to get out of doors that were protected by pad keys. that's that's disturbing. >> in that case, the airport defended its security, saying some emergency doors need to stay unlocked in case of a fire. as for this latest breach, security officials not yet commenting, abc news has learned flores ard was booked on two standby flights that were full, so he tried getting on that delta flight, telling authorities he was just trying to get home. he is now charged with stowing away on an aircraft, and delta says it is cooperating with the investigation and breaking overnight. >> we're hearing from the americans just evacuated from haiti. as the crisis there escalates, officials warn the country could run out of food in a matter of weeks, and more than 1000 americans are still there. abc's perry russom has the new details this morning. perry. good morning. andrew good

phone and that gave authorities their exact location. they were described as wet, cold and dehydrated, but otherwise okay. an escaped prisoner in idaho and the man accused of helping him escape are the subjects of a widening manhunt. white supremacist gang member skylar meade is serving a 20 year sentence, but after being treated at a boise hospital, a man opened fire on officers taking mead back to prison. during the chaos, the two men got away in a gray honda. >> this was a coordinated attack. ambush on the department of corrections officers and certainly a planned endeavor to free him from custody. >> three officers were wounded in the chaos. >> we turn now to a new warning about the danger of tiktok. one senator, after a national security briefing yesterday, compared the social media platform to a gun aimed at americans. here's abc's andrea fujii. >> the bill is passed this morning, one week after the house approved a bill that could potentially ban tiktok in the u.s.
