going to have some gusty winds, and it's not going to feel as warm all around the bay area already over ten degrees cooler out by the delta and we're looking at those winds up to 30 miles an hour as they're transported through the bay. and a pretty active pattern in the pacific northwest that could bring us a sprinkle or two into monday. here's a look at our visible picture. the depth of the marine layer has gone from a couple hundred feet to over 1000ft, but it does get pushed back to the shoreline and we will have sunshine. fine. but those gusty winds throughout the day. here's a look at a pretty view from our roof camera. a little breezy already where temperatures are in the mid 50s san francisco air quality will improve with all of that onshore flow increasing today 56 in oakland it is 60. in hayward, 62 san jose. and as we look at the airport, you notice the haze there. 59 santa rosa. it is 57 in petaluma and 64 by the delta. so the air quality has been moderate with that dome of high

pressure overhead, we'll get better air quality in the next several days, and then a stronger area of high pressure in the forecast for tuesday. there's a look at the winds. they've been picking up from the city through oakland to concord. and they'll continue to do that. our forecast highlights. then we have areas of fog and haze this morning. breezy to gusty winds. certainly a cooler day out there over ten degrees cooler in some spots. and then the middle of next week, primarily tuesday and wednesday. we're talking the hottest temperatures we have seen all season long. look how the winds build throughout the day. the colors indicate the 30s and 40 mile an hour wind gusts from that fuchsia to red. but even across the bay, it is quite breezy today. and a look at the fog. you know it gets swept away for the most part. but then as we get into the later hours of today and tomorrow comes back, along with some high clouds and middle clouds for your sunday mid level clouds, i should say. and that's going to carry over into monday. there's a look at the rain staying to the north primarily through monday, but
9:22 am
can't rule out that mist and drizzle along the coast maybe a little bit across the bay there, but overall it's the cooldown in the winds. you'll notice today and tomorrow. and then look what happens on tuesday. we're well into the 90s, 100 degrees inland, so we do have an excessive heat watch for the delta, carquinez strait, lake county where we could see temperatures as much as 103 degrees for tuesday and wednesday. so wednesday will be the hottest. and then the cool down arrives on thursday. so just a couple day event, but plan ahead if you have anything going on next week, it is going to be a significantly warmer out there. 65 in the city with those gusty winds, 70 in oakland, some clouds along the san mateo coast still, those downsloping winds bringing 80 up to santa rosa, 80 in concord and the accuweather seven day forecast after the game. hey, if you're going to the game here, it's breezy and cool with about 60 through the upper 50s. so we'll skip along to that. and stephanie, back to you. >> all right lisa, thank you. well we're going to
