checkpoints. and this morning, abc's matt rivers is giving us an unprecedented look inside the human smuggling operation of one of the largest cartels in mexico. >> the united states southwest border is in the midst of an unrelenting wave of migration. >> many fleeing poverty or violence or wars or climate change. it's all here. but this story is about the how and. millions of people are arriving so quickly, so efficiently. and that answer is simpler. it's organized crime. so we've been granted access to a small group within one of mexico's largest cartels, whose specialty are so-called long haul migrants, people who come from far away places like india, bangladesh, senegal, even china, who want to get to the u.s. and this group
