i'm andrew dymburt. authorities charging the suburban long island dad alleged to be the gilgo beach serial murderer with two more counts of murder. horrifying evidence found inside his home included what they describe as blueprints for torture and murder. here's abc's senior investigative correspondent aaron katersky. >> i can't express what this day means after waiting and hoping for answers. >> reporter: prosecutors have charged the suburban dad and alleged gill bow beach killer rex heuermann with the deaths of two more women. >> this year has been 21 years since she was taken from us. longer than the chance that she got to be alive. >> reporter: one of them, jessica taylor. >> her body was recovered on july 26th, 2003. she was decapitated, and her hands and arms were severed just below the elbows. eight years later, her arms and skull were found in ocean parkway. >> reporter: taylor was found decapitated in the woods. more of her remains were found at gilgo beach near the bodies

of heuermann's other alleged vic victims. sandra castilla, a 58 found in the hamptons. >> the victim suffered 25 injuries in all which we believe were postmortem. >> reporter: prosecutors said advanced dna testing established a link between heuermann and hairs found. these new charges are the latest gruesome twist in a case that captivated the nation. prosecutors believe the suspect meticulously planned each murder, and near now revealing details gleaned from 350 electronic devices seized from his home. among the discoveries an alleged blueprint and plan for his killings. the document that you found that you've called a planning document, what did it say to you, and how did it influence how the investigation proceededed? >> it evinces a certain intent, and that intent is to hunt and capture and kill females. >> reporter: authorities say the

document shows heuermann reminded himself to hit harder and consider a hit to the face or the neck next time, as well as notes about restricting sound which would lead to more play time. heuermann has now been charged with the murders of six women. do you believe you'll be able to prove he killed more than these six? >> the investigation is continuing, and we'll let that investigation speak for itself. >> i'll be highly surprised if there aren't more victims, and the reason why is, serial killing is an obsession. >> reporter: he's showed no reaction in court, where his attorney entered a not guilty plea. >> he's obviously horrified by new charges, new allegations, in a bad place in terms of new charges. >> reporter: with one of the crimes more than 30 years old, prosecutors are broadening their timeline, re-examining more accounts of missing women. >> with the universe of information that we have not only in this case but other cases, how can we work toward solving some of these cold cases? >> andrew: our thanks to aaron.

cassie. how's she doing? >> she's okay. she's getting through. >> byron: tiffany met cassie in 2015 when she was hired to work on her album. by then, cassie had been romantically involved with combs almost a decade. >> my first interaction with him was he walked up to me and he was like, "you're the one writing all these songs about me." and i was like, "yeah." he was like, "so she's talking to you, when?" and he just looked at me. and then he walked away. >> byron: what was the message he was sending, do you think is. >> i mean, i felt intimidated. it felt like he didn't want her to be talking to me. >> byron: cassie met the music mogul in 2005 when she got signed to his record label. together they released hits like "me and you." ♪ tiffany says she saw a much darker side to combs. she was there the night of cassie's 29th birthday party in 2015. >> i walk out the room. right behind the door, there's

his security around him. they have her in the corner. and he's in her face, and he's cussing her out. and i couldn't really hear what he was saying, but you know, could tell, you know, something was going on. he was really mad, he was really close to her face, she had her head down. she kind of was looking up at me. my sense was that everybody around him was afraid of him. >> byron: afraid of sean combs? >> yeah. >> byron: why? >> because he's explosive. >> byron: in cassie's lawsuit, diddy supplied her and sex workers with drugs before these "freak-offs." did you witness cassie under the influence? >> the night of the party was a freak-off. she was saying, "tell your girl she wants some birthday [ bleep ]." that was a freak-off. when he was cussing her out, she didn't want to go. >> byron: the incident is one of many mentioned in a lawsuit cassie filed against combs in november last year. >> cassie's lawsuit was resolved within 24 hours.

we knew she was asking for $30 million, but the actual amount they may settle for was undisclosed. >> byron: at the time, combs denied any wrongdoing and said settling was not an admission of guilt. then, explosive video. >> we're going to begin tonight with the alarming images emerging of sean diddy combs. >> the new video obtained exclusively by cnn -- >> diddy's fly including the hallway of this hotel, and he's so brutal. and cassie is so small. and just appears to be so broken. like there's a point where she just stays on the ground. >> so difficult to reflect on. >> byron: combs, now 54, acknowledges an assaulting cassie in a message posted on instagram days after the video surfaced. >> i was [ bleep ] up. i hit rock bottom. i made no excuses. my behavior on that video is inexcusable. i stake full responsibility for my actions in that video.
