a lot of cloud cover not quite reaching our inland valleys, but live doppler seven picks up on a trough that is moving through the bay area and pushing fog right along the shoreline. 58 in san jose. it's 57 in oakland with more low 50s up in the north bay, 53 santa rosa and sonoma. the winds not yet breezy, but we've got that for the afternoon. you can see right now 10 to 15 miles an hour out towards the delta. so starting out with numbers in the 60s 9:00. so we're warming up through about 80 noontime mid 80s in the north bay. and by the bay shore. we'll be into the mid 70s by the afternoon with those winds kicking up in the coast. will be filled with cloud cover only in the upper 50s monday we start a warming trend. we'll detail that for you in a few minutes. stephanie all right. >> thank you. developing news out of napa county. at least one person is dead and several others are injured after a shooting and a stabbing overnight at lake berryessa. it's a popular recreation spot in the north bay. this location, in particular is known for swimming and fishing spots. the

napa county sheriff's office says this all happened around 530 last night, when deputies were called about a fight near the oak shore day use area. shots were fired during that fight and one man was shot and killed. arby's advising there's an active fight going on between two groups of subjects approximately 20 people involved fighting and stopping them fighting again. >> or he's getting reports of possible gunshots, additional units to assist. >> three shots went off. >> windows are being broken. >> the napa county sheriff's office says there are also several stabbing victims. we know at least two of them were airlifted to local hospitals. it's unclear their condition this morning, and officials have not said exactly how many people were stabbed. the abc7 bay area news app sent out a notification last night about this brawl at lake berryessa. when news breaks, we'll be sure to let you know. you just need to download this app and enable push alerts

to get notifications sent directly to your mobile device in the south bay. now, a vigil was held for a man who was shot and killed by sunnyvale police, friends and family gathered to remember the life of emanuel perez. he would have turned 20 years old yesterday. officers shot perez on march 23rd at a mobile home park on vienna drive. they say they were called to the area for reports of a partially naked man with a knife. police later released this body camera video of that confrontation, showing perez ignoring multiple commands from officers. at one point, he runs toward an officer who opens fire. police also revealed perez was the one who made that 911 call. an attorney for the perez family announced they are now taking steps to file a lawsuit against the sunnyvale department of public safety. >> when a person calls for help, that is what they should receive. the people who we pay to help us should not be out

here harming us. >> the two officers involved in the shooting are both on leave now pending further investigation, and a memorial is growing in san francisco's dolores park days after a teenager was shot to death. loved ones gathered to share memories of 19 year-old luis manuel arguello inglés. police say he was shot multiple times wednesday night. arguello was a lowell high school graduate and a san jose state university student. his family says he had just received his certificate to be an emt, and had ambitions of becoming a firefighter. >> every morning i wake up, since he hasn't been here, it's been the most pain i've ever felt and i would say i wish it was me, but i wouldn't want him to feel this pain. >> no word on any arrests or a motive in this shooting. also in san francisco, a massive response from firefighters putting out a fire at an

apartment building in the city's outer sunset neighborhood. this is near taraval and 47th avenue. san francisco fire says this fire started just after 2:00 yesterday afternoon at a two story apartment building. more than 40 firefighters helped put it out. fortunately, everyone who lives there got out okay and no one was hurt. there is damage left behind after a crash very close to the golden gate bridge toll plaza. the collision happened about 330 yesterday on the southbound side of the bridge. investigator say a tractor trailer hit one of the buildings near the toll crossing. no injuries were reported in the north bay. a 4.5 magnitude earthquake rattled sonoma county this weekend. the u.s. geological survey says it happened about four miles northwest of the geysers geothermal field. that's an area where earthquakes happen frequently, cloverdale firefighters told us they felt a small movement, but there are no reports of any damage or injuries in the east bay. now a

fast moving grass fire slowed down traffic yesterday east of livermore. the greenville fire burned about 44 acres right along the altamont pass and 580. the fire started just before 11 a.m, and firefighters stopped the spread within an hour. no one was hurt, and it's now 100% contained. it's been a busy week for firefighters in alameda county and beyond. yesterday's fire is the fourth grass fire in the altamont pass area. just this week alone, two fires started monday evening. both are now under control. the corral fire that burned towards tracy in san joaquin county is now also fully contained and under control. at 14,000 acres, it's the state's largest fire so far this year. cal fire says a vegetation fire that started wednesday in sonoma county is now 100% contained. the crystal fire burned about 60 acres in the community of saint helena. helena, for firefighters, had to

go to the hospital due to tough conditions. cal fire says crews will remain in the area for the next couple of days, monitoring for hot spots. a new study is uncovering the brutal hidden toll of wildfires here in california. researchers at ucla say more than 50,000 californians died prematurely because of exposure to wildfire smoke. the study looked at deaths from 2008 to 2018. sonoma santa clara, contra costa and alameda counties had some of the highest premature deaths. the worst year was 2018, as the devastating camp fire destroyed the town of paradise and smothered parts of northern california in smoke for weeks. we're learning new details now about the plan to bring a new city to solano county. the group behind the california forever project is also planning to build a state of the art sports complex. the facility would include fields for baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and more. the california forever project would bring a city as

many as 400,000 people between fairfield and rio vista by next month, the county registrar of voters is expected to certify signatures collected to get that measure on the november ballot. happening now caltrain service is suspended this weekend between san francisco and san jose, so the agency can test out the new electric train fleet. some busses will stop at the san jose palo alto and millbrae stations, but there will be no bus service at the other stations. those new electric trains are set to roll out in september, and they're supposed to be faster, cleaner and more efficient. all right, let's check on conditions outside now. good morning. lisa. >> hey stephanie. good morning everyone. looking at some cloud cover here from mount tam. and this will pretty much stay by the coast today while we see sunny skies, breezy winds and slightly warmer in spots. and then we'll start a more significant warming trend as we get to monday, we'll talk about

saturday in san francisco. mayor london breed leading the parade. >> juneteenth i'm supporting all this love. i'm supporting black love out here. getting getting to be a part of bringing everybody together, the community together, people lining the street. >> for the second annual juneteenth parade, organizers calling it a proud moment in the heart of the city. some people are like, oh, it should be back in fillmore or the bayview, but to be main street essentially for san francisco, that's a really big deal here, that the city is willing to open the street up. >> that way. >> cheryl davis is the executive director of the san francisco human rights commission and says in time, this parade will rival others in the city. >> remember, those other parades have 50 plus years. and so we're just starting to build that momentum. but i think symbolically and just in terms of like cultural support, it's a big deal to just be here. it means a lot to make this big. >> coming from just small, small parade and fillmore to have it come down on market street for

francisco yesterday. despite that gloomy weather, we had a vibrant symbol of pride is now shining bright up on twin peaks. abc seven news reporter cornell bernard shows us the record number of volunteers behind the city's 29th annual pink triangle . >> corks were popping on top of twin peaks for the annual dedication of a true pride month icon. the pink triangle. >> we are literally here making a physical beacon for all of san francisco and all of the world to know that yes, this is a safe space. >> more than 600 volunteers started installing the triangle early saturday in the fog, using 175 pink tarps, creating the symbol that's about an acre long. >> we use this as an educational tool, so people far and wide will know the meaning of the pink triangle. that is not just an abstract symbol, a colorful symbol. >> founder patrick carney says the used the pink triangle to label and shame gay prisoners,

and concentration camps. today, it's become a symbol of resistance, hope and love. >> this event reminds us of the terrible history of the pink triangle, but it's being used and flipped and remixed in order to elevate this community and bring us together. >> carney says the pink triangle now taking on renewed meaning with personal freedoms under attack across the country, there are over 500 anti-lgbtq, anti-trans and anti-drag bills and it seems hate rages on and other nations as well. >> it is my duty, honor and privilege to proclaim you saint patrick the pink patrick carney receiving this honorary sainthood from the sisters of perpetual indulgence. >> he says seeing the triangle completed is still inspiring. >> it just makes me happy that it's still here and it's like my child.

east san jose with bart in milpitas, just in time for all those summer vacation plans. a major path into yosemite national park will reopen tomorrow. tioga road is used by thousands of visitors entering the park from the east, and it's known for its scenic views, but it's closed each winter because snow makes the road too dangerous to drive all the other entrances to the park are open year round. happening today. keep those cars parked and bring the bikes out. if you're in san jose, the san jose's sky festival returns today. it's about six miles of the city will be closed just to cars, but people can bike, skate or take a walk. there will be food trucks, vendors and live music for people to explore. and this is the second of three events happening in san jose. the events kick off at 10 a.m. and they will go until three this afternoon. all right, let's check in with lisa on how the forecast is shaping up. >> all right. good morning to you. yeah it's slowly going to

get better i mean it didn't feel much like the season after our heat wave. so yeah we needed a bit of a adjustment with that forecast. and we're going to get it today. and as we get through the first part of the week, it's going to feel much warmer out there. maybe a little too hot for some of you inland on tuesday. but it doesn't last long. here's a look at live doppler seven. our satellite and radar showing the clouds moving across the city. here and all of the rest of the bay area. so as we get into your early part of the day, it is cloudy in our inland valleys and it's going to be clearing right onto the coast . we have a couple elements that this system is going to lift out and then a high pressure is going to build on in for a change, a warm change coming our way, but we're still going to have the cooler conditions at the coast. there's a look at our exploratorium camera where this morning we're checking out the numbers mainly in the 50s. hayward is at 60, though, 54 san francisco. we're at 58. in san jose, 55 in redwood city. and from mount tam, that sun coming up at 547, it sets at 831 and

up in santa rosa. partly cloudy skies there. so it's a little cooler. 50 in petaluma, but elsewhere we're looking at that blanket of low clouds. we even had that mist and drizzle yesterday. could see a little bit of that from time to time along the coast today, tomorrow. but as we get through the mid-morning hours, partly cloudy into the rest of the day today. sunny, breezy and then by tomorrow we're warming up slowly. tuesday will be the warmest day of the week, quite hot inland, and then wednesday we begin to cool off. there's a look at the cloud cover early on this morning, and then as it pushes on out, we're looking at it, setting up along the san mateo coast and we have sunny skies, point raised, but it's windy. and then into your monday morning more low cloud cover. and it will certainly still be at the coast for the bulk of the day. but the rest of the bay area, we'll see a warm up upper level winds begin to move offshore, and that's going to allow for less wind at the coast, but still enough that it's cool. it's cloudy for your

monday. here's your sunday. as the winds continue to build up to about 30 miles an hour from the east bay and then along the coast a little bit stronger than that. this afternoon. so as for your monday, here comes the warmth from the sacramento valley. we'll be in the mid 90s, low 90s, closer to our inland valleys and then some 70s over in oakland. still cool 50s and 60s at the shoreline. there's a look at our big warm up on tuesday near 100 inland, 80 around the bay shore, about 70 in san francisco, and then cooler as we get into wednesday. highs today. it will be warmest in the north bay with 86 there in santa rosa, near 80, in san jose with upper 70s in livermore, upper 60s to near 70 around san mateo. the accuweather seven day forecast. so we're breezy again. average temperatures warming up tomorrow, hot weather inland on tuesday and still warm inland wednesday. we get a bit cooler into thursday and then the end of the week is looking pleasant. stephanie. >> all right, lisa, thank you. a reminder that you can watch all

good morning. we're starting this half hour with a look at the weather. it's nice that it turned out to be a good day. it may have taken a little while. >> yes, you're right, it took towards the afternoon and those breezy winds kept it on the cool side. we have that in store. the breezy winds. but we'll get into some clearing sooner. today there's a look at mount tam, where that sun officially up 547 and temperatures are in the mid 50s there for half moon bay, san francisco 60. in hayward. good morning san jose 58. it's 54, in santa cruz with a high today approaching 70. but the clouds, they're going to be slow to clear if at all. the coastline 50. petaluma 55. in livermore. and the breeze is gentle this morning. but that picks up. and that sea breeze keeping the ast ly in the upper 50s. here's a look at 9:00 with some low 60s inland, and then look how those clouds erode. 1:00 we're near 80 inland, near 70 bay shore and then by the afternoon it's a grayay at the shoreline. but we're coming up a few degrees in the north bay today for those mid 80s. and we'll talk about 90s arriving as

soon as tomorrow inland. stephanie. >> all right, lisa, thank you. after being held for months by hamas for israeli hostages are free after a dangerous rescue mission inside gaza, the israeli defense forces released video of them being reunited with relatives. that's what you're seeing right here. two weeks of planning went into this operation that started at first light, seeking to catch hamas off guard. now hamas has called the raids a massacre, claiming hundreds of people were killed or injured. abc news reporter david packer is following this story. for us, for israel. >> hostages now back on israeli soil rescued during daytime raids in gaza. the hostages now free after 246 days in captivity, finally reunited with family and friends. video of noah agramonte being kidnaped by hamas back on october 7th, going viral following that hamas attack. but on saturday, newly released video showing the 25

year old as she boarded a helicopter after being rescued by israeli forces, then reunited with her father on his birthday. the idf says, quote, intelligence based operations focused on two apartment buildings in nuseirat in central gaza. releasing this video, it says, shows part of the mission. according to the idf, planning for the joint operation began two weeks ago and involved strikes from the air, land and sea. israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu spoke at sheba medical center after meeting with the hostages. >> we're committed to getting the release of all the hostages, and we expect hamas to release them all. but if they don't, we'll do whatever it takes to get them all back home. >> pressure continues to mount on all sides to secure a cease fire deal, but talks appear to have stalled. president biden and france meeting with french president emmanuel macron reacting to the news pledging to continue efforts to bring home the remaining hostages. >> we won't stop working until all the hostages come home and a ceasefire is reached that is

essential to happen. >> reporter news of the rescue prompting celebrations in the streets of israel but in gaza, chaos in the aftermath of the israeli operation. according to hamas, more than 200 people were killed and at least 400 injured during the raids to free the hostages. israel is refuting those numbers, claiming there were fewer than 100 casualties. dave packer, abc news, new york. >> the temporary pier installed off the coast of gaza to bring aid to the region, has resumed operations. more than 400 tons of humanitarian aid was delivered to gaza overnight, according to u.s. central command officials. no u.s. military personnel went ashore. rough seas in the mediterranean tore apart the pier last week. president biden will head back here to the u.s. after his first state visit to france. biden joined in a special welcome ceremony with french president emmanuel macron yesterday. the president is wrapping up his final days of events, where he commemorated the 80th anniversary of d-day. that day

seven developing news now, one of three suspects in custody for a 2022 mass shooting that killed six people in sacramento, is dead this morning. investigators say the body of an inmate identified as smiley martin was found in his cell inside the sacramento county jail. martin his brother, and a third man are charged in the murders of three women killed in a gunfight outside of a group of nightclubs in april of 2022. three other people were killed and 12 more injured in that shooting. a southern california police department is facing scrutiny after security video surfaced appearing to show officers dumping an unhoused man on a sidewalk. in another jurisdiction. this video from thursday shows the two officers pulling up in front of the los angeles city council president's office in north hollywood. they get out of the car, open the back door and remove a man in handcuffs. as you can see here, police then get back into that car and drive off as the man drops to the ground without
