gray. but as we look at live doppler seven right now, just a band of cloud cover exiting the area. and as we look at emeryville, you can still see some of the marine layer. it's 55 downtown. it's cool. upper 50s in oakland, but low 60s hayward and san jose and a sparkling view of alcatraz where the race is on today. 68 in santa rosa, mid 60s by the deltas. we have sunnier conditions out in our inland valleys and not much left of the marine layer. the breeze continues to kick up, already over 22 miles an hour at sfo, so we'll be in the mid 80s in the north bay today, about 80 in the east bay, upper 60s to low 70s along the bay shore. and the coast is going to stay gray in spots. cool upper 50s, but a warming trend as soon as tomorrow it is going to get hot around here. i'll have all the details coming up. >> all right, lisa, thank you. developing news now out of napa county. at least one person is dead and several others are injured after a shooting and a stabbing overnight at lake berryessa. it's a popular recreation spot in the north bay, and this location in particular is known for swimming

and fishing spots. the napa county sheriff's office says this all happened around 530 last night, when deputies were called about a fight near the oak shore day use area. shots were fired during the fight and one man was killed. arby's advising there's an active fight going on between two groups of subjects. >> approximately 20 people involved fighting and stopping them fighting again. >> or he's getting reports of possible gunshots. additional units to the three shots went off. windows are being broken. >> the napa county sheriff's office says there are also several stabbing victims. we know at least two of them were airlifted to local hospitals. it's unclear their condition this morning, and officials have not said exactly how many people were stabbed. a reminder the abc seven bay area news app sent out a notification last night about this brawl in lake berryessa. when news breaks like this, we'll be sure to let you know and we'll have that alert sent

directly to your phone. just download the app and enable push alerts. this morning shocking video shows a series of sideshows that broke out overnight in oakland and san francisco. this video was taken at grand and lake park avenue, just off the off ramp of 580, in oakland. crowds also formed at fifth and adeline streets and 98th avenue and empire road. this is where this was all happening. this was here in san francisco between embarcadero and washington street in front of pier one. it appears numerous illegal fireworks were set off and one car even caught fire. as you saw a moment ago. at this time, police are still investigating both incidents. we will continue to update you as we learn more. we're also following a developing story out of san jose police are asking residents to avoid the area of warring drive

and cal moore avenue because of an incident involving a man barricaded in an apartment. police say they were called to the neighborhood around 430 this morning for a man breaking glass and throwing stuff out a window. now, they say when they arrived on scene, he fired at least one shot at them. he's now locked in the apartment and is refusing to come out. we're told negotiators are on the scene trying to come to a peaceful resolution. in the south bay, a vigil was held for a man who was shot and killed by sunnyvale police. friends and family gathered to remember the life of emanuel perez. he would have turned 20 years old yesterday. officers shot pez on march 23rd at a mobile home park on vienna drive. they say they were called to the area for reports of a partially naked man with a knife. police later released this body cam footage of the confrontation, showing perez ignoring multiple commands from officers. at one point, he runs towards an officer who

opens fire. police also revealed perez was the one who initially made that call to 911. an attorney for the perez family announced they are taking steps to file a lawsuit against the sunnyvale department of public safety when a person calls for help, that is what they should receive. >> the people who we pay to help us should not be out here harming us. >> the two officers involved in this shooting are both on leave now pending further investigation, and a memorial is growing in san francisco's dolores park. days after a teenager was shot to death, loved ones gathered to share memories of 19 year old luis manuel arguello inglés. police say he was shot multiple times wednesday night. the teen was a lowell high school graduate and a san jose state university student. his family says he had just received his certificate to be an emt and had ambitions of becoming a firefighter. >> every morning i wake up, since he hasn't been here, it's been the most pain i've ever

felt and i would say i wish it was me, but i wouldn't want him to feel this pain. >> no word on any arrests or a motive in this shooting. also in san francisco, a massive response. putting out a fire at an apartment building in the city's outer sunset. this is near taraval and 47th avenue, san francisco fire says it started just after two yesterday afternoon at a two story apartment building. more than 40 firefighters helped put it out. fortunately, everyone who lived there got out okay and no one was hurt. there is damage left behind after a crash very close to the golden gate bridge toll plaza. the collision happened around 330 yesterday afternoon on the southbound side of the bridge. investigators say a tractor trailer hit one of the buildings near the toll crossing. no injuries were reported in the north bay. a 4.5 magnitude earthquake rattled sonoma county this weekend. the u.s. geological survey says it happened about four miles

northwest of the geysers geothermal field. that's an area where earthquakes happen pretty frequently. cloverdale firefighters told us they felt a small movement, but there are no reports of any damage or injuries in the east bay. now a fast moving grass fire slowed down traffic yesterday. east of livermore. the greenville fire burned 44 acres right along the altamont pass and five 8-80. the fire started just before 11 a.m, and firefighters stopped the spread within an hour. no one was hurt, and it's now 100% contained. it's been a busy week for firefighters in alameda county and beyond. yesterday's fire is the fourth grass fire in the altamont pass area. just this past week alone, two fire started monday evening, both under control. now the corral fire that burned toward tracy in san joaquin county is now also fully contained. at 14,000 acres, it's the state's largest fire so far this year. cal fire says a vegetation fire that started wednesday in napa county

is also fully contained. the crystal fire burned about 60 acres south of calistoga for firefighters had to go to the hospital due to the tough conditions, and cal fire says crews will remain in the area for the next couple of days. monitoring for hot spots. we're following new details now about the plan to bring a new city to solano county. the group behind the california forever project is also planning to build a state of the art sports complex. the facility would include fields for baseball, football, basketball, soccer and more. the california forever project would bring a city of as many as 400,000 people between fairfield and rio vista next month. the county registrar of voters is expected to certify signatures collected to get that measure on the november ballot. all right. let's check on conditions outside. how's it looking, lisa? all right, stephanie, we are brightening up. >> you can see from our exploratorium camera mid 50s here in san francisco. we're in the mid 60s where the sun has been shining longer for parts of

celebration in san francisco, and now you can see it. a vibrant symbol of pride is shining bright up on twin peaks. abc7 news reporter cornell bernard shows us the record number of volunteers behind the city's 29th annual pink triangle . woo! >> champagne corks were popping on top of twin peaks for the annual dedication of a true pride month icon. the pink triangle we are literally here making a physical beacon for all of san francisco and all of the world to know that yes, this is a safe space. more than 600 volunteers started installing the triangle early saturday in the fog, using 175 pink tarps, creating the symbol that's about an acre long. >> we use this as an educational tool, so people far and wide will know the meaning of the pink triangle. that is not just an abstract symbol, a colorful symbol. >> founder patrick carney says the used the pink triangle to

this morning. this afternoon. sunny, breezy and we'll be looking at that warming trend tomorrow. very hot on tuesday, especially inland. and then wednesday the temperatures cool. so as we look at high pressure building aloft in the next couple of days, we'll ease up on the onshore flow just a little bit. it's still going to be breezy and cool along the coast today. and then tomorrow look at the fog footprint. it's with us. and then it pulls back to the coast. so really the warmest temperatures by far will be inland. getting warm around the bay. but that sea breeze staying at the coast today, it's a little aggressive over 35 miles an hour. the north bay in the south bay today. look for upper 70s there. the peninsula, upper 60s san mateo. breezy, some sun at times downtown and in the north bay, about 80. in sonoma, warmer numbers there. low 70s union city and we're in the low 80s in pittsburgh. the accuweather seven day forecast getting warmer tomorrow. not too hard to take. tuesday pretty hot wednesday. we're still warm inland and then it's slightly

arugula due to potential salmonella contamination, the fda reports. green life farms is warning customers this recall applies to a four ounce container of baby arugula products with a sell by date of june 15th, 2024. no illnesses have been reported, but the agency is warning children younger than five and people with compromised immune systems are at heightened risk. kia has recalled more than 460,000 of its telluride suvs due to a major fire risk. the car company says the front seats of the suvs could catch fire, and they're urging owners to park their cars outside and away from other structures until this hazard is fixed. the recall includes 2022 2024 telluride models, kia says they will start sending letters to car owners at the end of july . repairs will be made free of charge. the sun is coming out. yeah, it's going to be nice today. the nicest, i think, because it's going to get quite hot around the bay and that increases fire dangers. next several days debating whether to go on that run. and then i think
