rescue in lake tahoe. the coast guard and a good samaritan rescued six people and a dog from a boat engulfed in smoke and flames on sunday afternoon. the vessel eventually sank. the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. >> well, now to another fiery rescue, this one on the other side of the country. but there is an extra element to monday's inferno at a miami apartment building. there was a shooting victim. here's abc's victor oquendo. this massive inferno burning for hours at a four story apartment building near downtown miami. >> officials say they haven't battled one like it in decades. >> a level three fire is something we haven't seen in 25 years in the city. >> the calls coming in shortly after 8 a.m. >> we got flames and smoke from the third floor window. you need to put a jump on it. >> dozens of units responding as heavy smoke filled the sky, the plumes visible for miles. flames erupting from windows as the fire spread at that chaotic scene, authorities finding a building worker with a gunshot
