6:53 am
colors there. the golden gate bridge with upper 40s santa rosa, petaluma and looking at upper 50s from concord. the winds have been kind of gusty at times by the airport. you can see a bit of haze there from our sutro tower camera. so father's day weekend it'll be sunny and mild for the most part, but we'll have breezy to gusty winds at times. and then the winds really ramp up tonight into sunday and that creates high fire danger, elevated fire danger for all of us into the second half of the weekend. and monday as well. so the national weather service has highlighted the red flag warning for solano county, lake county, where winds will be out of the north 10 to 20 miles an hour gusting to 35. and that brings the relative humidity really through a three day period from 10 to 20. but as we look at the bay area as a whole throughout the rest of the day, the yellows indicate the high possibility of fire danger from the north bay to the upper elevations of the santa cruz mountains. for your saturday, and the rest of us in a moderate risk as the relative humidity is increasingly lower day to day.
6:54 am
this is your sunday morning. look what happens sunday afternoon. we go from moderate for most of us to hide a very high in spots, and that's because we'll be in sometimes the single digit category for the relative humidity. here we are at noontime. it's pretty dry already, 20 to 30, 18% santa rosa. you notice closer to the water we have more moisture. but through the afternoon throughout the day today we're down to 13% by the delta. so with those northwesterly winds blowing all day long, by later in the day, it gets dry. and then into sunday and monday even drier down to about 7% at times in our inland valley. so there's a look at the gusty winds along the coast inside the bay. 15 to 25 miles an hour for your saturday and then into sunday. this is your windiest day, where we'll have the afternoon wind gusts from 30 to 40 miles an hour throughout the afternoon. so sunday will feel cooler because it will be windier windy at the coast today. upper 60s, sunny
6:55 am
for everyone 75 and oakland. look for mid 80s today into the east bay with 86. in santa rosa a couple degrees cooler in the south bay at 78, and the accuweather seven day forecast. so we've got the breezy winds today, 60s, 70s to upper 80s. looking at the higher fire danger as we get into tonight, monday, boosting up our temperatures near 90 inland. and we'll have that seasonal spread for the middle of the week when the winds will get to more of an onshore component. and then with summer arriving on thursday, it's going to feel like it with 30 to 35 degree spread from the coast to our inland valleys. all right. >> thank you, lisa. this story coming up after the break, you got to see wanted by police, one big bear turned burglar. and we're not kidding. the populated city where this hungry fella is
