4:08 pm
bay, but good air quality, just about everywhere else for most of the upcoming week. now let's talk about the relative humidity, obviously still dangerously low in the north bay, under 20% at virtually all locations, but that westerly wind, that onshore flow is lifting relative humidity just a bit. and as we get later into the evening hours, in the overnight hours, as is typically the case, notice how the relative humidity will increase. so not only are we looking at increasing air quality, but we're looking at reduced fire danger. i'll have more on that in the accuweather seven day forecast in a few minutes. >> kristen spencer, thank you. in new mexico, a state of emergency has been declared for part of the state as a 14,000 acre wildfire burns south of albuquerque. the south fork fire has forced more than 5000 people from their homes and has burned 500 structures. it exploded overnight and crews are now worried about how high winds and extreme heat will affect progress. >> we'll keep tabs on the fire lines, but for a moment, let's move on as we continue to follow the second trial of david depape, the man accused of

4:10 pm
parts of the courthouse for the remainder of this trial. he said, quote, you have been attempting to influence corruptly one or more members of this jury. now, following the defense presented closing arguments, describing depape as utterly exhausted and confused and living a solitary and isolated life. refuting the government's argument that depape wanted to kill people like gypsy and others on his so-called hit list, the defense also tried to argue some of the charges are not applicable to this case, like aggravated kidnaping that carries a life sentence, stressing depape lacked intent to detain mr. pelosi. now, the prosecution used their last moments with the jury replaying the body camera footage showing the moments david depape struck paul pelosi on the head. with that steel hammer. now, as far as the timeline for the jury, we know they deliberated today for about 2.5 hours and just moments ago they have left for the day. so
