raided oakland mayor sheng tao's home, and she is still not facing the public. her attorney has given a statement on what happened and the investigation. good morning to you. it is saturday, june 22nd. i'm gloria rodriguez here with meteorologist lisa argen. and you know what? it's going to really heat up today. so lisa, just how hot is it going to get? >> well, with our heat advisory we're looking at 100 degrees in the upper elevations of our inland valleys. but as we start out with live doppler seven, interesting feature, what we call an eddy down there offshore that continues to pull up the low clouds and fog right around the san mateo coast. so it's going to stay cool there. but our heat advisory, highlighting the areas in our inland valleys that will be flirting with 100 degrees interior mountains of the north bay, the east bay and the south bay and the inland valleys as well. that's a look at our exploratorium camera, where it's pretty neat, isn't it? 53, san francisco 60, in oakland, 67. san jose. and from vollmer peak, you look out towards the east bay and that's where it's going to start to get

pretty hot already 72 by the delta 59 santa rosa. and that is 2 to 8 degrees milder than what we had yesterday at this time. so throughout the next few hours that fog deck erodes. the temperatures warm quickly. the winds don't pick up until the afternoon. they'll be southerly for some of you, allowing for that cooling sea breeze. but a good 40 degree spread today. and we'll talk about how long the heat lasts. >> coming up, gloria, we definitely want to know that. thank you so much, lisa. we still have not heard from oakland mayor shengtao after the fbi raided her home. however, her attorney is talking and says she is cooperating with the investigation and is not the target. we begin our coverage of this developing story with abc seven news reporter anser hassan. >> it's really unfortunate that a search warrant was executed at her residence, because the public appearance of that brings up images of corruption. and i can tell you, i have spoken to the u.s. attorney's office, and i have no information that she's

a target right now. >> tony brass, a former federal prosecutor and criminal defense attorney, is now the lawyer representing oakland mayor shengtao in a federal investigation early thursday morning, more than a dozen fbi agents raided murtaugh's home in oakland. four hours later, they hauled off boxes and bags of evidence, brass points out. the warrants were for the address where tao li's not for mayor tao specifically, it suggests that the information that they wanted, whether that information itself suggests criminality or is simply something that corroborate other information, was located there or on a device . the feds also targeted two homes related to the duong family. they own california waste solutions, a garbage recycling company that operates in the east bay and south bay. the wong's are also huge political donors, but the fact that it's our mayor, it's someone who's in leadership that who, you know, ousted the, police chief. nina joyner is a small business owner in oakland. she says tao is innocent until proven guilty, but her concern is how this will play out in the

court of public opinion, especially as mayor tao is facing a recall. in november, joyner is part of a growing chorus of people asking the mayor to resign. she believes mayor tao's personal issues are distractions that hurt oakland's reputation to attract talent and investments. >> we just had a shooting and we just got a we just got a chief of police, and for this event to happen, we can't even have our mayor come out. we couldn't have her come out and talk about it. this is this is this is unheard of. >> attorney brass wants to emphasize that mayor tao was not arrested and that there's no restrictions on her ability to perform her duties as mayor. legal experts tell us this investigation could drag on months, if not longer. in oakland, anser hassan abc seven news in the days since the raids, we've been getting new information about the political corruption investigation from someone interviewed by the fbi, the mayor's former chief of staff. >> she spoke to the i-team's dan

noise. >> not only did i run her office , i was very instrumental in helping run her campaign, renee webb tells me. >> she served as chief of staff for shengtao for a year and a half, and that she questioned the amount of money andy duong was funneling to the campaign. webb says she shared her concerns with the fbi in a meeting february third of last year. she gave me texts and emails from the fbi that confirmed the meeting and just the line of questioning. >> i could tell that they had already been looking into you know, some of their kind of pay to play type of activities. >> oh, really? what sorts of things were they saying in terms of the questions about pay to play, just about board appointments, about contracts, about andy, you know, about the duong family. >> webb says she knew thursday's raid by the fbi was coming. we spotted andy duong leaving his house and his name on evidence boxes that the irs agents carried out of the duong family business, california waste solutions, the lead investigator

from the oakland public ethics commission, confirms to me that the duong's are still under investigation for a money laundering scheme, court documents i've received alleged that andy duong arranged contributions to candidates including shengtao, using straw donors. some of the phony donors allegedly came from phuc tran, president of the vietnamese chamber of commerce. in response , phuc tran said he wouldn't cooperate in the investigation. based on his fifth amendment right to be free from being compelled to incriminate himself. webb tells me the end for her as chief of staff came on the day tao was sworn in, and that the mayor's partner, andre jones, tried to bring his ex-wife into the ceremony. >> and finally i was like, andre, i don't know what's wrong with you, but you gotta get the hell out of here. i was like, this is too much. i don't know what's going on. shang was all crying. she was like, why would you do this to me on my day? like this is crazy. >> webb tells me she texted shengtao during the raid to say she's praying for the mayor.

>> she has a good heart and she came in this wanting to do it, but sometimes that power and that machine just takes people to another level and the wrong direction. yeah, the way, wrong direction. and we're all paying the consequence for it. >> webb also tells me that andre jones, who doesn't work for the mayor's office, was trying to arrange jobs for her supporters for the i-team. dan noyes, abc seven news. >> this is clearly an ongoing investigation and we're going to stay on it. so stay with abc seven news to learn the latest about what's happening with the mayor and how it will affect the city of oakland. we will continue to update abc seven news.com and the abc seven bay area app. happening today, oakland police will deploy additional officers at the fifth annual lake fest, just three days after 15 people were shot near lake merritt. organizers of the summer festival are determined to keep violence from marring their event. there's a strict no weapons policy and everybody will pass through

metal detectors. bellevue avenue as well as side streets connecting to grand avenue, have already been closed. more than 150 vendors will set up along lake merritt for people to enjoy some local food. beer artists and music, and the event runs from 11 this morning until 7 p.m. happening overnight. one person has died in san francisco following a shooting near the civic center. officers were called out to mission and ninth streets at around 7 p.m, where they found the victim. police also found and detained a possible suspect, according to the charges against him. david depape broke into nancy pelosi's house looking for her. only her husband, paul, was home as police responded to pop struck paul pelosi with a hammer, leaving him with a fractured skull. depape faced both federal and state charges, and now he has been convicted by juries. in each case. abc seven news reporter tim johnson has been following the ruling for us. >> after several days of

deliberation, a san francisco jury found david depape guilty on all charges in his state trial over the hammer attack against paul pelosi in the hallway of the courthouse to papp's public defender, adam lipson, saying both he and depape were disappointed by the jury's decision. he tells abc seven news he took particular issue with the prosecution, adding an aggravated kidnaping charge. >> it's really unfortunate it was charged this way. it was sort of a textbook vindictive prosecution. as soon as they found out that the case was that the attempted murder charge was going to be dismissed, they added this charge an accusation that san francisco district attorney brooke jenkins denied. >> jenkins, speaking to the press following friday's verdict at her office. that was dealt with by the court. >> we have charged mr. we charged mr. depape with what he was guilty of, as clear by the jury's verdict, according to california law, the kidnaping charge carries a life sentence without the possibility of parole. >> all of this coming after depape was sentenced last month to 30 years in prison in his

federal case after he serves his 30 years in federal custody, he will be at the age of 75. >> instead of being deported back to canada, he will be brought back to california to spend the end of his life in a california prison. >> legal analyst stephen clark says despite lipson's objections to the outcome, he wasn't surprised by the jury's verdict. friday afternoon. >> and i think what the message was today is that mr. depape is extremely dangerous to society and there's no safe place for him other than state prison. >> depapes lawyer says he will appeal the verdict, a move clark believes won't make much of a difference. >> that video evidence and his statements to the police are so damaging that it's hard to say that any jury would have come to a different conclusion. >> tim johns, abc seven news. >> well, it's going to be a hot day. let's get a check of that forecast with lisa argen. good

morning lisa. hey laura. >> good morning to you. moderate air quality even with the fog as we look at the view from pier 39, the marine layer is going to be swept away in parts of the bay area, but we're still going to have it in, in and around the beaches to the south of alcatraz. here we'll talk about where and how long the heat remains when we return. >> thank you lisa and also ahead, $10,000 worth of stuff stolen at hillsdale mall. how a retail theft task force was able to track the thieves down. and an incredible story of survival here from a hiker rescued after spending more than a a heatwave, it's kinda chilly in here. oh, that's because i'm pre-cooling the house with the ac before 4 pm. then i'll turn our thermostat to a comfortable 78 or higher that way i could stay cool later. ooh, what about me? you're never cool. oh.

roof camera a little foggy this morning. we'll check in with lisa to see when that is going to go away. well, thieves accused of stealing $10,000 worth of stuff from a lululemon in san mateo led police on a chase into the city. san bruno police say that when officers responded to hillsdale mall for retail theft, the suspects fled to san francisco in a white suv. in the city, officers, who are part of a retail task force attempted a traffic stop and the suspects ran away. after abandoning the car. three of the suspects were caught selling the merchandise in the tenderloin.

sfpd eventually arrested the fourth suspect. authorities say the vehicle they used in the theft was reported stolen. all four suspects were booked into san mateo county jail. well, we have been following this story for months now. and now a major milestone for the street vendors on san francisco's mission street. the city is letting some of them sell there again. abc seven news reporter luz pena shows you what's changed there. >> tents are set up, merchendise out, and now they have uniforms. these are the ten street vendors san francisco is allowing back on mission street between 23rd and 24th streets. >> como vendedores. >> we're recognized as street vendors. it's been a long process to get to this point. they pleaded with the city for seven months, followed the rules and sold merchandise at an indoor location, all while the city banned vending here to regain control of mission street from people selling stolen items on sidewalks.

>> we saw that calls for service from public works went down. we saw assault burglaries went down . now we're looking. i just looked at the data property crimes are down 23. if you compare the six weeks prior to the moratorium and the six weeks after the moratorium. so we are going to continue to assess the condition. >> public works inspectors are still in the area, with san francisco police officers making sure sidewalks are not blocked, and only those with permits are allowed to sell. >> we know that the vendors that we're working with today have been good actors all along. we just want to make sure that more people aren't coming through now who don't have one of these ten permits. they're not setting up next to them or somewhere else on another block. >> the city street ban is still in effect until august 22nd. we captured the moment inspectors asked unpermitted vendors to move. the vendors you see out here are the lucky ones. they were selected through a lottery system. they all had to have previous permits to sell on mission street. now there's still a group who are hoping for

the city to expand this pilot. >> we have to work a lot to make it better, but i feel like this is on the right way, the right step. >> luis ledesma is one of the ten lucky ones. >> very happy, very happy. >> we introduced you to luis and his wife back in january, when he said the ban contributed to his family ending up homeless and sleeping in their van. you donated to help them to get back on their feet today they're living in temporary housing and have this message. >> they thank you for supporting me. thank you for everything in san francisco. >> luz pena, abc seven news. >> well, the north bay investigators say a woman was assaulted by a stranger while running on a sonoma county trail. this happened on thursday night around 8 p.m. on the joe rodota trail, which connects downtown santa rosa and also sebastopol. the sonoma county sheriff's office says the victim was grabbed from behind and forced to the ground. she told deputies that the man threatened to sexually assault her before she was able to fend him off and

then get away. anybody with any information is being asked to give them a call. a santa cruz county man is back home this morning after spending ten days in the mountains. he went for a hike and then got lost. rescuers finally found him late thursday and you could see these pictures right here. they captured the moment he was found and reunited with his loved ones. and you can just see the joy, the relief on everybody's faces. he was last seen in boulder creek and was found in big basin redwoods state park. abc seven news south bay reporter lauren martinez spoke to him about what happened and how he survived a missing hiker found alive, and the heartfelt reunion was all captured in these photos. >> 34 year old lucas mcclish spent ten days in the santa cruz mountains on tuesday, june 11th, mcclish headed out for a three hour hike from his hometown of boulder creek. he said he got lost and didn't recognize certain landmarks wiped out by fires. when he didn't show up

for father's day dinner, he was declared missing on sunday, june 16th, four days later, mcclish was rescued, i'm sure. >> a little tired. i lost my voice. >> we spoke with mcclish on friday about what he had on him at the time. >> i left with, just a pair of my pants and my pair of hiking shoes and, and that hat. i had a flashlight and a pair of folding scissors like a leatherman tool. and that was about it. >> and how he survived. >> i just make sure that i drank at least a gallon of water every day. but then after, like, getting close to the end of it, i was just. my body needed food and some type of sustenance. >> the santa cruz county sheriff's office said they deployed drones. the cal fire, san mateo santa cruz unit, the boulder creek fire department, and california state parks assisted in the search, the sheriff's office said on thursday. around three in the

afternoon, witnesses reported hearing someone yelling for help. mcclish was found in a remote canyon in big basin state park. he was moved to see all the boots and paws on the ground, looking for him. >> this is really humbling and i don't know. it was an awesome experience. >> both him and his family are feeling grateful for all the help they've received. >> relieved. so thankful and blessed and they won't be hitting the trails any time soon. >> i did enough hiking for probably the whole rest of the year. me too. >> we've all hiked a lot in the south bay. >> lauren martinez, abc seven news. >> the good thing he's okay. well, beavers are back on tule river tribal lands in the southern sierra nevada after years of work by the tule river tribe, a family of beavers has been released into the south fork tule river watershed. it's all part of a partnership with

the department of fish and wildlife to reintroduce the beavers to manage the water supply and better conserve the tribe's drinking water. >> beavers are actually a water supply solution. they slow the water down in a waterway like this. they spread it out and they sink it. >> biologists expect the beavers will also create a better habitat for a number of endangered species. they're less than a dozen beavers and more will be reintroduced in the coming months. even in the coming years. meteorologist lisa argen is tracking the forecast for you on this saturday. and lisa, we're expecting a very hot day. is that heat going to continue all weekend? >> no. in fact, it's just going to be with us today. the heat advisory for our inland valleys, the upper elevations. and we're looking at fog that will begin to mix out throughout the later morning hours and early afternoon hours. but as we look at live doppler seven right now, you can see how it is all the way up and down the coast from northern california into southern california. and it started out this morning at

about 1000ft. you can see how it is right there all along our beaches, the coastline a bit inside the bay and another vantage point shows how compressed it is where that dense fog early this morning, visibility down to nothing in spots. right now, though, it's brightening up in the city. 55 san francisco. it is 60. in oakland, 64 in hayward with 67. in san jose and just 53 on the coast. here's a look at mount tam. it is a little bit hazy there and lots of sunshine though, from marin county up through sonoma. and numbers are responding really early this morning compared to yesterday. 72 by the delta, 67 livermore 55 petaluma. and we have moderate air quality from the east bay to the south bay. and with those quickly rising temperatures will continue to see a bit of haze out there. that heat dome right over the bay area compressing that marine layer. we'll see some sunshine here and temperatures will be comfortable 70 downtown, but we have that

summer sizzle for a day to day. that's inland upper elevations. the heat advisory until about 10:00 tonight. we will cool off. the fog's coming back, but it's going to take some time for that cooling to reach our inland valleys. and with that fog along the coast for the early part of the day, it will be chilly and certainly just mild throughout the afternoon. so here's our sea breeze, that south wind kicking up later on today to over 20 miles an hour. we're at 60 right now. santa cruz highs will be through the upper 70s today. and you can see a mix of clouds and sun there. so if you're at the beaches, you'll notice that it's in the low to mid 60s today. and with some of that fog mixing out from time to time, we'll call it partly sunny. stinson about 70 today. sunny in bodega bay, upper 60s, and then partly sunny here down through pacifica and half moon bay. so somewhat of a beach day. we cool off for your sunday by about ten degrees, so we're in the low to mid 90s. warmest locations back to the

live. >> well, it's going to be a hot one. a heat advisory is in effect today for parts of the bay area. good morning to you. or have we're starting this half hour with a look at the weather. here's meteorologist lisa argen and lisa. we're talking about that heat advisory. i mean just how hot is it going to get today. >> well, we could see over 100 degrees inland. not any records because we're about ten degrees away from records. but the national weather service still thought that we should have this , our heat advisory for our inland communities. the upper elevations from concord to antioch, the diablo range, interior north bay mountains east of san jose. the hills there, including gilroy. a compressed marine layer right now lets you know that it's not going to get too hot downtown 55 here, 60 in oakland. san jose is in the upper 60s. half moon bay, 54 degrees. and look at the golden gate bridge. 55 petaluma socked in there with the clouds

5 to 8 degrees milder, especially inland. so the plan for inland communities from the mid 80s in the next few hours to near 100 by 5:00, the bay will be sunny but with moderate air quality, low to mid 70s at 5:00 and the coast some limited sun there. kind of cool near 60. gloria. >> lisa thank you. this summer heat wave is setting in. some areas are expected to hit triple digits this weekend. abc news reporter alison kosik shows us how people across the country are dealing with these extreme temperatures as the weekend begins, with more than 100 million americans under heat alerts in 15 states across the country this week, extreme temperatures disrupting train services from new york to dc. >> amtrak suspending service for hours due to a malfunctioning circuit breaker. >> the train turned off and we were stuck on the tracks for, i think, maybe an hour or two, with no air conditioning in new

york and new jersey, the rate of e.r. visits for heat related symptoms up 800% in buffalo schools handed out bottled water. >> but some students were frustrated that they had to struggle through hours of testing with no air conditioning. >> when you're trying to sit there and think and process and then you got the heat, it just drains you. >> on the west coast, phoenix red cross volunteers went door to door sharing safety tips. if you have to be outside, be outside for only a minimal amount of time. >> as much as needed. definitely drink a lot of water. always stay hydrated. >> cities like washington, d.c. and baltimore could reach 100 degrees on both saturday and sunday, potentially setting record highs there are also heat alerts in effect across parts of the southwest, with cities like las vegas and fresno all reaching triple digits in the coming days. alison kosik, abc news, new york.

>> a controlled burn in the north bay turned into a perfect training opportunity. abc7 news reporter cornell bernard talked to firefighters who say wildfire activity is already off the charts. reporter operation scorpion that's 3 to 4 miles as far as the wind out of the east. >> 60 acres of tall, dry grass is burning in northern marin under the watchful eye of dozens of marin county firefighters. good. >> solid wet line right on the fire's edge. it's in the middle. don't waste your water on it. >> fire crews knocking down brush by setting backfires and running hose lines. but this is much more than a controlled burn, so this is an opportunity for us to bring out all of our new firefighters and give them some experience with live fire. 60 seasonal marin county firefighters are here to learn and feel the heat in real time. this live burn, obviously it's all safe and controlled, is helping us tremendously, tremendously uh- showing us the heat, feeling the heat on your body, the smoke conditions, this

training, getting firefighters ready for the real thing which could come at any time. it's already been a busy fire season. the point fire burned more than a thousand acres in sonoma county earlier this week, destroying three homes, according to cal fire. >> we're already seeing that the season is starting off strong with wildfires, and so it's important that we get our seasonals comfortable with live fire and in heat. >> the department getting the word out on social media about friday's burn, asking residents to avoid calling 911a water dropping chopper taking part in the burn, adding to the realistic training. >> it's funny because the fire doesn't know that it's a training fire, right? so, it's about as real as it gets in marin county, colonel bernard, abc seven news. >> the biggest active wildfire in california right now is the sites fire in colusa county. more than 19,000 acres of burns with just 35% containment. cal fire says the only active area

is in the northern part of the fire zone, and this weekend's weather could be a factor with the accelerated winds and the increased temperature, we anticipate that we'll continue to see those interior pockets burn out, but we're sitting in really good position as the control lines immediately on the fire's edge has consumed pretty well over the last couple days. we are tracking all of california's active wildfires online, so bookmark this so you'll have it handy. all summer. it's at abc seven news.com/fire map. a man is in custody this morning after a shooting at an arkansas grocery store killed three people and injured eight. police responded to the shooting at the mad butcher grocery store in fordyce . that's about 70 miles south of little rock. it happened about 1130 yesterday morning. two officers who exchanged fire with the suspect were also shot. police say that they all have non-life threatening injuries. witnesses captured the scene on their cell phones. >> and then i seen a man he had.

i think it was an ak. he had rounds and he was just shooting like he was shooting. and i locked the door and i got real low. >> and investigators believe the suspect acted alone. so far, police are not saying what prompted this attack. the fbi and the atf have joined the investigation. arkansas governor sarah huckabee sanders has been briefed on the shooting. the number of people dying on san francisco streets from accidental overdoses ticked up last month. the department of public health says there were 66 overdose deaths last month, and that's up from 59 deaths in april. but may's numbers right about average for the number of monthly deaths so far this year. the majority of those deaths, 70, are attributed to fentanyl. could federal disaster relief funding run out when it's needed the most? well, disaster are impacting millions of people with extreme heat and wildfires. and now the first named storm of the season, tropics storm alberto, is hitting the texas coast and this could be a

particularly bad year. >> forecast for named storms, hurricanes and major hurricanes is the highest noaa has ever issued for the may outlook. >> fema's most recent report shows a deficit over $1.7 billion by august, and it climbs a 6.8 billion by september. fema spokesperson says the agency is working to ensure sufficient funding. the first presidential debate of 2024 is less than a week away, and you can watch it right here on abc seven. donald trump's legal woes are helping out his campaign. federal election reports show he collected at least $27 million in the last two days of may. that's when he was convicted in new york on 34 counts of falsifying business records. the cash surge has erased a fundraising advantage that was held by president biden and these last days before the debate, both men are fine tuning

it's going to be warm out there today. we're also going to tell you about an event there in santa cruz, woodies on the wharf. coming up. but right now we want to tell you about something else. if you're planning to take muni this weekend, you might run into some delays. transit officials have closed the twin peaks tunnel, as the mta recently completed a structural inspection of the tunnel. it found it is safe for passengers and workers. but two areas within the tunnel need some immediate repair. work service will be interrupted for the k ingleside, the l taraval and also the m ocean view lines. shuttle trains will provide connecting services throughout the city while the tunnel is closed. the tunnel will be closed for two more weekends in july and august for repairs. well, we know when the next raising cane's location in the east bay is opening up this summer, according to its website, the new location will open on july 30th and hayward it will be at mission boulevard and harder road, where a kmart used to be. cane's is also opening another location in colma. that's according to job postings online. the timeline for that

colma location is not clear. raising cane's already has locations in oakland and vacaville in the south bay. the children's discovery museum of san jose has a new outdoor educational space, the exploration portal. let's children learn math and science through play. the $2.5 million project began in 2018, but it was delayed by the pandemic. the title sponsor was the shue family charitable foundation. >> this is our way of making this incredible museum even more educational and welcoming to all children. we want to be investors in the future. we want to invest in early learning, education and child care. >> the museum's new exploration portal opens to the public next weekend. will the 28th annual woodies on the wharf kicks off today in santa cruz? more than 200 old wooden classic cars will be on display. it is the largest

woody show in northern california. the old wagons date back to the 1930s, 40s and 50s, and their rarity makes them expensive. it also takes a big effort to keep them running in good condition. woody is on the wharf, starts at ten. it goes until 330 and it is free. and, you know, let's talk about the weather for today is going to get warm. lisa. we saw santa cruz. people were already putting their stuff out on the beach, getting an early start. a lot of people are going to be going to the beaches today because of the warm weather, right? >> it's 62 there right now. you can see the breeze here across the street from pier 39. that's where these flags are blowing. but you know what? upper elevations already in the 70s and 80s, that includes mount diablo, ben lowman, the santa cruz mountains, and relative humidity dropping into the 20% range. so we're going to want this fog to stick around for a while. it will in spots. i'll explain next. >> thank you lisa. and also next is clay leaving the bay. abc seven sports director larry beil

lisa argen. are we going to get a lot of sun on the beach today? >> i wouldn't say it's a lot of sun. i'd say the marine layer is going to mix out and we'll have partly sunny conditions. you can see the fog still from the marine county coast all the way down to southern california. first weekend of summer starting out. rather typical with the low clouds and fog, but by this afternoon it's going to warm up quickly. there's a look, a closer look at that fog keeping san francisco pretty gray so the fog will mix out. and we're still going to have some haze around in the east bay. and south bay. upper level smoke or haze, you know, from the fires to the north will allow for the atmosphere not to mix things out totally. remember, we have a big dome of high pressure overhead and that is keeping a lid on the atmosphere. and that's what's also going to help us heat up so quickly without a whole lot of mixing santa cruz in the low 60s, upper 70s. today, you can see the fog in the distance 55 downtown, 67 in the south bay, and from our east bay hills. camera. it's going to get hot out there. 59 in santa rosa

right now, but our inland valleys already well into the 60s, low 70s by the delta. and right now in the city. kind of a neat picture there. so the summer sizzle is on for one day just today with our heat advisory for our inland valleys, the hills. this is going to last right on through the evening hours. and then by tomorrow morning we are back with the low clouds and fog and cooler temperatures along the coast. a good portion of the day you'll have that marine layer. there's a look at the marine layer and that live picture, but it pulls away temporarily. ocean beach pacifica for partly sunny conditions. mid 60s out there for you right off of san francisco, 70 up in stinson. but you notice it doesn't go far, so it's going to come right back in later on tonight in the south bay. ten degrees warmer than yesterday, ten degrees shy of records today 93 in san jose, 86 in sunnyvale. up a good ten degrees for you as well in redwood city, 8884 in palo alto and along the coast, that mix of clouds and sun. 70 today, a few
