filled two month trial. prosecutors alleging the two had a fraught relationship and reed intentionally hit o'keefe with her suv in the winter of 2022, leaving him to freeze and die in the snow. i hit him, i hit him, i hit him, i hit him. >> those are the words of the defendant four times. you heard testimony from four different witnesses who overheard and observed those statements. >> but reed's legal team arguing o'keefe's injuries were not consistent with being hit by a car. they say on the night of o'keefe's death, reed dropped him off at another officer's home, where he was beaten before his body was planted on the lawn, claiming she was framed by the police. trying to cover it all up was the injury to the head that you saw consistent with having been struck by a vehicle at 24mph? >> it is not no, sir. >> o'keefe's grieving family is remembering him as a beloved uncle and son. if convicted on the most serious charge, reed could face life in prison.
