covid, putting his campaign on pause. on wednesday, moments before biden was set to address the largest latino advocacy group , it was anounced he would not take the stage. >> the president has been at many events and he just tested positive for covid. [ audience oohs ] >> telling reporters, he feels good. climbing the stairs, to airforce one, after it was revealed he has covid. the president making his way down the ramp from air force one into the waiting vehicle. once in the car, biden putting on the mask. and, the white house says he's taking paxlovid, he has a runny nose, cough and fatigue, the covid diagnosis putting his campaign on pause , and concerns about his health. they urge the 81-year-old to step aside as their party's

party telling him to get out and in response to all of this, bide with bide, the white house, has put out a statement, and biden, put out the statement for each story. the president told both leaders he's the nominee of the party, plans to win and looks forward to working with them on the agenda for next year. but george, i just don't see how it is tenable for joe biden to continue as the democratic nominee, president and democratic nominee in 2024, when all of the democratic leadership is telling him bluntly and very directly, that he should get out of the race. >> george: he said in the interview, it's a hypothetical and that it wouldn't happen. but it's not just the democratic leaders and the polling in the majority of democrats now wanting him to leave the race and he's getting word that his fundraising is completely drying up. >> reporter: in terms of donors, the money into the

campaign has stopped and polling up to 70% of democratic voters would like to see a different nominee. that's hard to sustain. >> george: john carl, thank you very much. gio? >> gio: the attempted assassination of former president trump. we learn what the fbi found on the shooter's phone, pierre thomas has the rest. >>pierre: sources tell abc news the fbi's examination of the shooter's phone, reveals he looked for the dates for the butler rally and, upcoming in chicago. they found images of both president biden and former president trump. and the former president, wounded from the attempted aassination, arriving at a nearby hospital. >> he's walking,

>> the shooter returned at 5 p.m., this footage showed law enforcement believes this is crooks, wandering outside the rally at 5:06 p.m. one hour before he opened fire. and law enforcement sources tell us he was spotted walking near the magnatometers, did something suspicious, approach he backed up and faded crowd. 5:10, crooks was identified as a person of interest. they believe he used a/c units to climb the building and made it to the perch with a direct line of site to the former president. >> the local police were responsible for the outer perimeter of the building.
