welcome two time super bowl champion peyton manning wow wow wow, i have not met many professional football players in my day. tell me why football seem to be kind of a family business. >> my dad played, my brothers played. and i don't think it was ever a mission by my parents to raise football players. and maybe that's why it ended up happening. you know, he played

for a long time in the nfl as a quarterback, but he tried to kind of raise normal kids. i think. but we love football. we grew up around it. it was always a fun sport and felt lucky to do it for a living for so long. all brothers, i'm the middle child, we were big kids. catherine. my older brother, cooper was 12 pounds, three ounces at birth. i was 12 pounds, 12 pounds one ounce. eli was only 10 pounds. we thought something was wrong with him, so, but, yeah, all all boys. >> amazing. you. it seems like book more commercials than most actors that i know. yeah are you one of us? >> no, no. okay, okay. do not insult acting with my commercials. i'm. >> i beg to differ. they're pretty great. >> i'm good at reading teleprompters. i'm good at reading scripted lines. i can memorize lines because you memorize, you know, football plays, but, i enjoy doing them. i think for a football player, catherine, to take your helmet off and to show that you can laugh at yourself, that you don't take yourself too

seriously. you grow up with two brothers. you better learn to laugh. yep, nfl locker room. you better learn to laugh at yourself. have thick skin. so i've always enjoyed doing them. nobody hits you in the back during a commercial. nobody talks about your mother like they do in certain stadiums. more in the northeast. i'm not going to name any names, but, yeah. so i enjoy doing them. and luckily i don't play anymore, but still good to do some. so yeah, it's fun to do, >> also, i have just been told you are a musician as well. >> i know i toured, i love, i love country music, and i think you probably referring to kenny chesney is from tennessee, grew up a huge tennessee football fan. i met him in college. he actually sang in my wedding, but we had a deal. one time, catherine, that he wanted me to get him on to a colts practice field to practice with the colts in an nfl practice. in return, he would let me go out on tour and be in the band during a

concert. right? and i never could get him on the field with the colts. right? the coaches just didn't understand that. sure. why are we gonna let this guy on the field? so i never i was gonna say it doesn't often. yeah. it just he wouldn't have fit in out there on the field. let's just say that. but he let me, he put me in the band, put a cowboy hat on me, put me in a strap guitar, put me in g. i kind of held g for 2.5 hours. i can't i can't play the guitar. but i know where g is, and i tell you, it is the most unbelievable view to watch a concert from the perspective of a band member, right? you're watching the crowd. they're all obviously focused on him. he'd introduce me like from that town. he gave me a fake name and. and on acoustic guitar, you know bill smith right here from atlanta. how you doing? and, it was awesome. >> i feel like maybe, you and kenny might have recorded a duet, and i. >> well, i've been yelling your

gentleman's lives, like on in their families, on and off the field. yeah. with that, with that availability. >> yeah. we really appreciate it. we followed five nfl receivers and tight ends this year. and they did. they let us come behind the ropes. but we feel like we're not a distraction. we're just trying to show people how hard it is to play receiver in the nfl. how hard they practice, how much film they study, just as much as the quarterback. they get hit hard across the middle, and they pop right back up and go back and play the next play. so i think people will find it fascinating. i've always had a great appreciation for all the receivers that i play with. i'm not sure all the viewers know just how hard it is and what it takes. so we appreciate george and deebo and justin and devonte and amon-ra kind of letting us go behind the ropes. and it drops on netflix tonight, streams on netflix tonight so you can watch it tonight. and, we're excited about it. >> it's like like any good very

moving sports documentary. you just get so invested in the players in a way that sometimes from a bird's eye advantage, you can't you don't. you know what i mean? you're just seeing. i used to laugh at my husband that sometimes listening to sports was like my own private, sound machine. white noise machine. right. i immediately would be like. like i was the most relaxing. so, like, to be in it is where you feel the like stakes. the highest. >> and in football it's a different, you know, other things. you can kind of go behind the ropes and be close to it. you can't have a 12th person in the huddle on a football field. they don't allow that. you know we can have 11 out there. and so this is kind of what we're trying to do is to bring the viewer right there where they're on the field, they're on the sidelines, they're in the training room with them recovering. you know, after a physical game in the,

cousins, marcus mariota and me. they took us behind the ropes of what it's like to play quarterback in the nfl. and patrick mahomes wins the super bowl and wins the mvp of the league. so i told these receivers if you do this you will win the super bowl. and one of you will be mvp of the league. it's proven. so that was, that was very easy to do. we did a similar show with caitlin clark and camila cordoza. both of them went to the national championship. so i think when you do a show like that and people say, wow, it's not a distraction, you can still have a great year and document what i do behind the scenes and what i told patrick and kirk and marcus and all these receivers is show your grandkids what it is you used to do, but also take the viewers behind the ropes on how hard it is to play receiver, what it's like off the field and everybody will be better for it. so i don't think anybody has regretted doing any of these shows so far because they've all had good years at the same time, and people get to see what it's
