this morning. >> good monday morning, everyone. i'm rhiannon ally, i'm andrew dymburt, and we begin with breaking news overnight. >> the pentagon making a rare move. >> it's publicly announcing that it is sending a guided missile submarine to the middle east amid growing concern that iran could attack israel at any moment. this morning, the pentagon is ordering the uss georgia to the middle east. the nuclear powered submarine is capable of holding more than 150 tomahawk missiles. tensions in the region have been building after the former leader of hamas was assassinated in iran's capital last month. hamas blames israel for the killing and iran has vowed revenge. the pentagon typically keeps the movements of submarines classified, analysts say. this rare announcement is a clear message to iran to back down the website, axios reports. israeli intelligence believes iran has decided to attack israel within days, israel's

defense minister telling u.s. defense secretary lloyd austin that iran is preparing a large scale attack. israel says if iran does launch an attack, iran can expect a, quote, blow unlike any other. in return, hamas and israel were set to resume ceasefire talks this week. those talks now in question. >> hamas is indicating it will not attend, saying there is no need for, quote, more rounds of negotiations or new proposals because hamas says there is a previous framework deal it is willing to accept. >> well, the pentagon has also ordered the uss abraham lincoln aircraft carrier to speed up its transit to the middle east. >> ukraine and russia are blaming each other for a fire at the zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. flames poured out of one of the cooling towers, but experts say there was no reported impact on nuclear safety. ukrainian president zelensky has acknowledged for the first time that his troops are conducting a major offensive inside russia. more than 70,000 civilians have fled now to the

u.s. olympic officials are vowing to appeal this weekend's ruling that strips american gymnast jordan chiles of her bronze medal. the controversy began last week when chiles took fifth place. her coach appealed the score and the so-called scoring inquiry was a success. chiles was bumped from fifth place up to bronze and posed for this. now famous picture, with simone biles bowing to brazil's rebeca andrade and celebrating an all black podium. but this weekend, a bombshell announcement an independent arbitrator said that scoring inquiry from chiles coach last week was made four seconds too late. inquiries must be made within one minute of the performance. chiles heartbroken, saying i am taking the time and removing myself from social media for my mental health. usa gymnastics late yesterday fighting back, submitting video evidence. it says proves the inquiry by charles koch was filed within the one minute deadline. it says the video is time stamped. the controversy comes on the heels of a hugely successful olympics for team usa women's basketball, securing its eighth consecutive gold with a nail biting win over france,

77 minutes to take down the shooter. a man saying he's the gunman's uncle is heard on 1911 call asking to be transferred to his nephew to get him to stop the shooting. >> i was wondering maybe he could he could listen to me because he does listen to me. everything i tell him he does listen to me. maybe he could come down and do something. just turn himself in. >> but the uncle's call was too late. the police body cam videos come from five officers. despite 25 uvalde officers who responde. text messages reveal some officers were either not recording or did not have time to grab a body camera. in other text messages, multiple officers ask, is there a way to get our pictures off the pd website? for our safety, take the website down. as the public began complaining about the delayed response, can you tell me your name? fourth grader chloe torres made a 911 call herself from inside a classroom, begging for help, saying, i can't wait
