the election. >> trump also responded to recent reports that robert f kennedy jr is planning to drop out of the race and endorse him. >> that would be a great honor for me. >> overnight, kennedy withdrawing his petition to get on the arizona ballot. the trump campaign says there will be a special guest at his glendale rally later today. the event overlapping with kennedy's trip to arizona. trump is set to face off in a debate with harris next month. last night, he said he would like to do more than one debate before the election. >> an arizona man was arrested during trump's visit to the border, accused of making death threats against the former president. the suspect has been identified as 66 year old ronald lee sherwood, who allegedly posted the threats on social media. this comes just weeks after trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in pennsylvania. >> now to the fierce fighting in ukraine and russia, with both sides claiming battleground gains, ukraine hit a military airfield in southern russia with a drone attack yesterday. ukrainian military officials say the strike targeted anti-tank weapons and fuel at an airbase, and this new video shows an

attack on russian troops in russia. ukraine's military released the video saying the bombs were u.s. made. president zelenskyy said they are trying to build a buffer zone in russia, but the plan comes with a warning from the united states. >> the pentagon saying if ukraine is planning a buffer zone inside russia, then it needs to start digging defensive lines inside kursk. concerned that russian reinforcements are already on the way as kyiv celebrates the capture of more russian villages, russian forces are reportedly advancing on ukrainian troops in eastern ukraine. >> now to a dramatic rescue in arizona, where an eight year old boy was separated from his family at a cave. his disappearance triggering a widespread search with volunteers finding him the next morning. reporter this morning, an extraordinary rescue operation in arizona. eight year old keone marin saved after getting separated from his family at the entrance of a cave

outside flagstaff. a search team flying in from new york, using drones to locate the child. >> the family is beyond themselves. they're just so grateful. we're all so thankful to god to be able to celebrate with him. >> the boy went missing around 6 p.m. local authorities combing the lava river caves in the rain. >> they just came out of the cave and noticed he was missing and we weren't able to get a description for him. negativos for cell service. when word got out that marin was missing dozens of jewish community rescue teams from coast to coast sprung into action. >> everyone stop. drop whatever it was to make sure that we're going to bring the child home safely. >> the search team arrived from new york yesterday morning, locating marin. >> our volunteers found him. he was sleeping next to a tree. we were doing what we do best, what we train for. >> the mile long cave can get as cold as 42 degrees in the summertime. visitors are warned of icy conditions, slippery rocks and intense darkness. this morning, marin is recovering from the ordeal with his family.

charged with hiding his wife's body, which has not been found. 28 year old mamta bhatt vanished more than three weeks ago. the couple's baby has been placed in the care of social services. >> a new study is adding more evidence to the heart health benefits of wegovy. researchers say it's linked to a significant drop in cardiovascular events. this morning, doctors are revealing a new hidden health benefit to one of the world's most popular weight loss drugs. a new study found wegovy, an injectable based on a drug originally developed to treat diabetes, can do more than help users shed pounds. after monitoring over 17,000 people with preexisting heart disease, scientists found wegovy lowered the risk of heart attack, stroke and cardiac death by as much as 44%. >> we are finding that not only does it help patients lose weight, which is fantastic, but additionally we reduce the risk of dying from any cardiovascular

holding packets containing nearly 4,600 pounds of methamphetamine worth $5 million. the meth melons were found inside a tractor trailer from mexico. the driver is in custody. >> now to the investigation underway in california after a toddler was served alcohol at a restaurant. abc's derrick dennis has the details. >> this morning, what was supposed to be a cup of apple juice turned out to be so much more at this japanese restaurant in salinas, california. a toddler served a cup of cooking wine. not apple juice, apparently by mistake. it was noemi, valencia's daughter. >> she was swaying. she was falling over. she was leaning on the walls. she couldn't hold her head up. she was slurring her words. >> those were the first signs that something was wrong. valencia says she and her husband immediately checked her daughter's cup, smelled the alcohol and sounded the alarm, rushing their daughter to a hospital where a test revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.12%, well above the state's 0.08

legal limit. the valencia famil, asking this of the restaurant and its workers, take proper precautions in how you store things or label things properly so that this doesn't happen to anybody else or, you know, it could have been so much worse. abc affiliate ksbw spoke to the manager of the restaurant, who called the incident a mistake, explaining the wine was being stored in an old container labeled apple juice, which led to the serving error. a police report has been filed with state investigators saying the california department of alcohol beverage control is aware of the reports and is working with local authorities to investigate. the child's parents grateful their daughter was able to fully recover. derrick dennis, abc news. derrick. >> thank you. police in new york city are searching for suspects in a burglary at the office of saint john's basketball coach rick pitino. investigators say the pair got away with a bullhorn and a ceremonial sword during tuesday night's break in.
