8:47 am
think about this as exercise for the skin breakouts, aging, everything use drunk elephant as a great barrier repair cream to hold that moisture into the skin. >> all about the latte colors. this is friendly for mine. >> so many different skin tones. what we will look at is monochromatic colors the highlight will create that emphasis this is makeup by mario, just a great color payout with this it creates that smokey look. and also there is skin protector, which is your bronzer, your highlighter. great trend by makeup by mario. >> okay. out with the old in with the new. >> now we're going to go in with the new. >> keep moving along into the new year. >> it's the new year happy new year, everyone. >> into the beauty trends of new. >> we will get there the new year is coming the new year is entering so what we're talking about for new year is really exciting. we saw a lot of the barbie core,

8:53 am
guys to learn at home. when you are opening a bottle, make sure it is really cold. just wipe it down if it's a little wet so you have your towel right there. >> everybody in the studio is wearing goggles. i have a bad feeling how this will go. >> it is between 80 and 90 psi, which translates to three-fourths a fully pumped car tire yeah, right inside this bottle so the whole reason we want to -- no pressure. lots of pressure. >> yeah. so you just want to take that foil off it peels right off it will be like that on any champagne bottle so are you right-handed or left-handed. >> right-handed. >> so you want to put your right hand on top of the bottle. so you want to turn this the other way. >> this is so dangerous. so here we go. so now right hand, left hand this is your nondominant hand. >> right. >> it is going to untwist. >> do not take these precautions. >> there we go
8:54 am
now you will just pick it up, right hand. >> i think i shook it. >> right hand stays on top, left hand on the bottom now use your nondominant hand just to turn just hold on i've got my hand on the cork so then you just turn the bottle -- >> oh, i did it! >> and if you just ease it out, see? >> i will practice every morning. >> there we go there we go. >> do you want to skip the glass? we can do that and a nice, easy pour. >> the trick to holding the bottle, just straight up >> no. actually, honestly you don't need to do that. you can just pour it. >> cheers to you ready. it is a play on obviously sparkly, if you can't tell. i like that for new yea i will follow you while you go the rest of the way. >> so you can either choose to do a vanilla infused vodka this is the confetti ready it is a play on obviously
8:55 am
sparkly, if you can't tell i like that for new year's eve your champagne, you can use prosecco and these are pop rocks garnishing the top of the glass. >> how do you keep that in there? >> it's vanilla frosting so you could use one that's store bought or you could infuse your own using vanilla beans use it a week in advance, but it can last that long. >> what is this called >> this one is a take on a pina colada we have the frozen pineapple, the coconut. but we have actually added a coconut rim to it to mimic snow a little bit we're getting into the holiday season it is not quite white enough to reflect the snowy, wintery white you want you could add food coloring to it. >> you use food coloring >> i do, yes. >> this could be an interesting morning.
8:56 am
>> i know. i got to anchor from 12:00 to 2:00 on "news now," so we'll see what happens. >> i wouldn't necessarily go champagne for this because you are not going to get the champagne flavors in a cocktail, there we go. >> this is interesting red wine hot cocoa. >> we were chatting backstage about this this is one of the trends of the moment, mixing milk with red wine i made this with my family over the holidays my stepmother helped me perfect the recipe we added some bourbon to it. so it has red wine yes, you have the fresh milk really, it is a lot of fun. >> milk and red wine isn't a weird combo. >> no, not really.today.com/foo well. >> oh, we also added dutch cocoa powder there is bourbon in there and vanilla extract. >> this is delicious. >> happy new year. you can check out these drinks and more by scanning that qr code at the bottom of your screen you can go to today.com/food as well. h, that
