challenger, nikki haley, did pull off one super tuesday victory, winning vermont's 17 delegates. now it's unclear what is next for the haley campaign there are no events planned in the upcoming primary states. late last night, the nbc news team in charleston, south carolina, saw members of haley's team wheeling items into the campaign headquarters, and it seemed like they could be setting up for an event there, but the campaign has not said anything about their plans the last update we got from the haley campaign is that they are honored to have gotten the support of millions of americans. >> mm-hm and brie, donald trump had that loss in vermont to nikki haley but president biden also had a surprising loss of his own last night. >> reporter: nbc news projects that jason palmer has won the american samoa democratic caucus palmer is a venture capitalist who focuses on information technology he won with 51 votes to president biden's 40 votes palmer did not step foot in the territory. he only held virtual events

>> reporter: fiecrefighters spet much of the day tuesday trying to cool hotspots that were still smoldering after that could be t five miles away. we heard from the fire chief and the community saying that there were multiple explosions at what used to be a vape shop the debris from the explosion, which included canisters containing butane and other gases scattered. a 19-year-old male, who wasn't even near the building, was about a quarter mile away from the site, was hit in the head by some of that debris. that teen, unfortunately, didn't survive. a firefighter was also injured he is home recovering. the cause of the fire is still unclear. the fire chief telling us inside of what used to be a vape shop were 100,000 vape pens, containing lithium batteries back to you. >> adrian, thank you
