in ohio. emergency crews in one ohio county reporting a tornado, an estimated half-mile wide crossing a highway over 13 million were under tornado alerts, with more reports of twisters in indiana, kentucky and texas indiana police say some were seriously injured by the storm, and a hospital in winchester says at least 39 people were admitted overnight according to the national weather service, the wreckage there is likely from a tornado and officials say up to half of the buildings in nearby selma may have been damaged. giant hail fell thursday night in texas, and wednesday evening residents in kansas dodged pieces the size of golf balls. for the latest on all of this, let's bring in angie lassman good morning, angie. >> good morning, frances it was quite an active evening and afternoon yesterday. we started to see the storms approaching from the west. these tornadic storms are some of the two hardest hit areas,

winchester, indiana and lake view, ohio we had about a 20 to 25 minutish warning. now the good news is, we're not looking at any more watches this morning. we've seen all of those expire but we still have quite a robust line of thunderstorms from texas to the northeast and we're going to continue to see the potential for rain across that region and even severe storms as we get through the day today. this system, we are not done with just yet. we are going to see that continue with us here as we get into the weekend these are the spots i want you to focus on for severe weather today. up into texas, into mississippi and alabama. that's where we're going to be watching for the hail, the potential for strong winds and tornados today >> thanks for watching it, angie. james crumbley, the father of school shooter ethan crumbley, has beenfound guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

crumbley bought his son the pistol used in the shooting and failed to safely store it. he now faces up to 15 years in prison last month, his wife jennifer was found guilty on the same charges. both will be sentenced in april. thi their son is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. former president donald trump spent much of thursday inside a florida courtroom where his lawyers tried to get charges thrown out but the federal judge denied the motion mr. trump maintains he did nothing wrong. >> i took them very legally. and i wasn't hiding them we had boxes on the front of, and a lot of those boxes had clothing, we're moving out, okay, unfortunately, we're moving out of the white house. >> meanwhile, in new york, the district attorney's office says they do not oppose waiting 30 more days to start mr. trump's hush money trial court filings shows thousands of pages of documents were only
