wear even a younger person said oakland international should rethink the name change and keep it simple.>> it might be confusing. we are not in san francisco. >> reporter: the port of oakland has said the name change would help better reflect the regional location of the east bay airport. management at sfo said they are deeply concerned.>> we are worried this will cause confusion for customers. >> reporter: senator scott wiener said it should not be cutting and pasting san francisco international airport into its name. >> we talked to other airlines and a lot of the people we are talking to have a similar reaction. that is, let's accurately represent the region that each airport is serving. >> reporter: oakland sent a written statement say it is pro- oakland and pro-jobs and it is located on the san francisco bay.

nose once by an angry customer. >> you deal with many customer picks. they make me feel less. now knowing that they have more money is great. >> we're not wall street. >> reporter: this franchise owner said the 25% hike in the minimum wage is more than his family owned company can handle. he owns five pretzels stores and cinnabon stores. he said he had to raise the price of pretzels 2 dollars to survive the pandemic. he said he has no choice but to raise prices again and freeze hiring. >> this is damaging to the future viability of our

business. i'm considering selling or closing locations. >> reporter: this wage hike could mean layoffs, higher prices, and an increased use of technology. nearly every customer we talked to said they will deal with the impact.>> it is worth paying the prices if everyone can make a living and people get paid more, we can afford to pay a little extra. google will delete a lot of user data because of a massive consumer privacy lawsuit. it began in 2016 when user said that google began tracking data when they were browsing incognito. they initially settled for about $5 million. users will not get payment from that settlement, but they agreed today to destroy billions of records where it secretly tracked users.

they will have to disclose what data they collect going down the road. a warning for at&t customers. they are investigating a massive data breach. it dumped the personal information of customers on the dark web. that is about 7 million current customers and 65 million former customers. the company is changing the passwords up the customers affected and offering free credit monitoring services. a temporary pathway is open around the wreckage of the bridge that collapsed in baltimore. the cleanup operation is still going on. last week a ship lost power and slammed into the francis scott key bridge. the force of the bridge caused the bridge to buckle into the water. six people are presumed dead. teams of engineers began to remove concrete and steel from

meet with the city of oakley, we're learning how much it will cost them to stay in town. the details on a possible extension that could keep them playing here a little bit longer. >> reporter: a new five-year contract is in the works if the a's want to keep playing once the lease expires this year. the extension would keep them in town until the las vegas dating is built in 2028. the price to stay, $97 million. >> i think oakland has sent everything they can to keep the team here. >> reporter: they can opt out after three years, but would still pay the full amount. they are calling for major league baseball to create a path for oakland to get a future expansion team or facilitate the sale of the a's to local ownership. one of the leaders of the home

and, most importantly, the fans. >> almost every fan expects bad news from this negotiation. it would be unbelievable. >> reporter: this proposal could help the $170 million deficit. >> it's the same gap. i like the job that they took back at them. if you stay here, you have to pay what you should've paid to finish the deal. safety concerns at boeing are causing a ripple effect in the airline industry. they are asking pilots to take time off at united. they are blaming the delayed aircraft delivery from boeing that has led to over staffing at united.

boeing is facing calls for changes and scrutiny by the faa. this comes after a door plug flew out of a flight in january. the ceo agreed to step down last week. you might notice a new delivery method from amazon. they are giving the option of original manufacturer packaging. there trying to reduce packaging. according to amazon, about 11% of orders worldwide were sent in the original manufacturer packaging. amazon said they identify products that could work, and contact vendors to make sure that something will be damaged. clothing and other unbreakable items could be sent in original packaging. if you do get the brown box, there is no more bubblewrap. there switching to paper filling.
