napa down through vallejo, oakland, livermore, fremont, san jose, stretching through parts of gilroy. now temperatures near oakland are going to be more in the upper 80s, but some areas in through the interior are going to be near that 100 mark, and that's going to bring low humidity as well. we're also going to get there fairly quickly, especially into areas like the south bay and the east bay. also, the tri-valley. take a closer look at the temperature trend for san jose right about 61 degrees right now. notice the icons we've got sunshine, but by 12:00. so right around your lunch hour we're already going to be at about 81 degrees. so i would say walks with the pups. you want to get out early. and also later into the evening. now if you're going to be in through parts of the city, san francisco will be one of our cooler spots. but even so, we're going to be in the upper 60s, low 70s today, noticed by about 1:00. clear skies, though for the city, not much of a marine layer. today we'll talk more about until when coming up in a few minutes. let's check in with mike. all right. hey, so far this traffic

to play out, the un security council is adding further momentum to gaza truce talks. it just passed a long sought after resolution endorsing a us backed ceasefire deal. it is actually a three stage plan aimed at ending the war, returning the hostages and reconstructing gaza. in the meantime, us secretary of state antony blinken is in the middle east. this morning he is meeting with israeli leaders today in the bay's alice barr joins us live in washington this morning. alice, the secretary, i understand, spoke just a short time ago. what did he have to say? well, this is really the biden administration's most concerted effort yet to try to reach the ceasefire deal. so secretary blinken has been trying to push it over the line and finally bridge this gap here. it comes at a time when the israeli military raid that rescued those four hostages, but cost the lives of hundreds of palestinians risks complicating even further the push for peace. this morning, secretary of state
