area beaming with pride on this victory monday. the san francisco 49ers punching their ticket to vegas. our road to super bowl lviii starts right now and we've got you covered. but first let's get today's news headlines. new details about an illegal sideshow caught on camera in oakland. we know about 100 vehicles and 200 spectators were involved last night at macarthur boulevard and 106th avenue. police arrived and dispersed the crowd but not before a ring of fire ignited in the middle of the intersection. san jose police asking the public to help identify a third suspect in a home invasion on story road in october. police arrested one person and identified another suspect. the face of the third woman was captured here on surveillance video. >> the unidentified female is an adult female ranging from 35 to 40 years old, roughly five foot two two five foot five, medium build with light

complexion. >> vice president kamala harris in the south bay today to talk about abortion rights. a group of protesters greeted harris at the mexican heritage protester asking her to support a cease-fire. the vice president was also at a campaign reception in los gatos and is expected to head back to washington, d.c. within the next hour. onto first alert weather now. darren peck has more on the timing from our virtual abuse studio. >> we've got to start watching this one closely. already flood watches and adviso focus on how ridiculously nice today is and how anyone could be taken off guard. beautiful time-lapse looking at this day and if we look at actual daytime highs, low to mid 70s. tomorrow we will cool down about 5 to 7 degrees from

these numbers and then i wednesday the rain will get here. you can see a lot of rain off the coast now , but that is not our storm. the next storm comes in and the timing for this is wednesday morning. this is wednesday , late morning. coming into the north bay at that point and then through the rest of wednesday, certainly through the afternoon and going into the early evening we will see some of the most widespread steady rain from this system. then thursday we are not done. there will be isolated scattered follow-up showers. we will slow down the timing of how much rain we might get heard watch the timestamp. by 5:00 am we've already gotten some measurable rain. as the morning commute starts in the north bay, going to 10:00 am

and by that point you can see how the rain has really started to spread southward and we are starting to see showers for the rest of the golden gate area the take away from this, wednesday morning, primarily a northbay commute issue then it will be a wednesday evening commute issue for everyone else. it will keep reining in the northbay and it will also be a wednesday evening commute issue up there. but for the majority of us it is late morning through the evening rainfall event that really adds up from wednesday into thursday morning. looking at rainfall totals big enough on here that timeframe, all day wednesday into thursday that the national weather service has issued a flood watch. this is very similar to what we had last week. the way it played out was you had some ponding of water on roadways and low-lying intersections that were problematic and some streams and creeks were able to

approach their banks. that is the same description for how it will likely go wednesday to thursday. that covers the rain standpoint of this and the potential for flooding concerns. there is also a wind issue for this. there is a really organized conference we've been through, coming through wednesday night, primarily, the second half of the day into thursday morning, watch the bright colors up there and the timing up there for the wind advisory fits. that comes through the second half of the day wednesday through thursday morning, the worst of the wind will be confined to the coast, basically the higher elevations of the peninsula and the coast . if you are in the immediate bay you are not included in the wind advisory and that is the primary impact from this system. more opportunities from rain after that. let's get into the seven-day forecast. wednesday is the first alert day. definitely as the first alert status and the primary focus

in the nfc this postseason the 49ers were officially crowned conference champions on sunday with a come from behind win over detroit area and for the second time in five seasons the niners are back in the super bowl. it wasn't looking good early, dine -- down 17 at the half but this connection completely swung the momentum. a christian mccaffrey touchdown made it a onepointgame and then elijah mitchell, scoring, making it a 10 point game late heard the niners scored 27 unanswered points in the second half. they come back and win 34-31. here are some of the players, and it's back to the super bowl. >> where does this rank in your career of games you like? >> top, it's not even close. >> it is special but we have been here before. trying to get some confetti.

gear and celebrate. shawn chitnis caught up with some of them in daly city today. >> they've been putting in some extra hours working late last night to get folks that first chance to buy that nfc champions gear for folks who want to get some of that swag before starting work and well before the super bowl. the sun was barely up when first shoppers came inside, some already wearing niners gear but eager to buy more. >> let's see what we can get for the next couple of weeks. i already ordered a new jersey. we both have offensive jerseys and now need a defensive jersey. >> christina came straight here before starting her morning shift looking to shop for his and hers. in some ways it is retail therapy and the reward for living through to skiers during the playoffs. >> it was almost as stressful
