israel, including hamas. turning to our 1st alert weather right now. here is a live look outside of the golden gate bridge, looking a little sunny right now, maybe a little hazy to start the week, but let's get the media off just jessica burch in our virtual weather studio. >>blue skies are expected for us throughout the afternoon hours today with some gusty onshore winds to wind speeds anywhere up to around 25 to 30 mph expected along our coastline just around dinnertime and then we head into the overnight hours tonight. we continue to watch that onshore breeze actually died down closer to around 10:00, but other than that, looking at the day today beautiful out there these blue skies matched with 70s throughout the santa clara valley. this is the weather that you want to go out there and enjoy if you live along the coast. yes, it's a little bit cooler. but this is what we're used to during this time of year as we creep slower into the month of summer for a month away from the 1st day of summer, and it kind of feels that way all the way off into the east bay 80s near antioch. we have 60s today near san francisco. let's head a little bit more north across the golden gate bridge all the way up into marin sonoma and past that, too, we're expecting 80s near ukiah 60s. near santa

rosa, heading into the next 7 days. see a little bit of changes in the forecast a little bit of a cool down as we head into this weekend, not noticeable in san francisco nearly as much as some of our inland areas like the east bay, for example, upper 80s by tuesday, 60s by saturday, that's a big difference just within the matter of only 5 days. we'll see that trend. also all the way over into the north bay and the east bay, too. >>major traffic alert to tell you about in the north bay tonight, caltrans will shut down a section of highway 37. that's between serious points and highway 29 in valeo crews are painting new lines on the road. so starting at 9:00, they will alternate lane closures >>on both >>the east and westbound lanes. it's all part of a long running project. repave that entire stretch in both directions. live looking at our bay area airports right now we're just days away from memorial day. weekend, which makes the unofficial start of summer travel season. the 1st wave of travelers to start flooding airports this week. expects about 2.9 0 people at the

in with meteorologist jessica burch, where there's no windstorms here. >>it's getting a little bit breezier along our coastline now with blue skies expected for us all day long throughout the bay area here is our weather headlines. some of the biggest changes we have this week. we'll it feels a lot more summer like for us throughout the bay area with 80s in our inland areas, still some 50s and 60s along our coastline with small day to day changes until we head into this weekend. we actually have a big cool down right around the corner. but let's also talk about rain because we haven't seen any lights. some time and looking at the climate prediction center and what they have to say. we're actually going to see drier than normal conditions throughout some of the state of california and here in the bay were right around average right now, but even in our long range models throughout the next 7 days, we don't have a rain in sight. so let's change gears real fast and let's talk about today. daytime highs today matched with these blue skies that we have and sunny conditions throughout the bay. we're sitting in the 70s throughout the santa clara valley. 50s along our coastline. so cooler and breezy or along the coast, but at least we're getting those blue skies to and that's the same trend all the way off into the east bay. the more east you go, the warmer it gets. we're expecting 80s anywhere from antioch all the

way over into brentwood. beautiful conditions as we head into this afternoon. and it does kind of feel summer like in those pockets of areas, too. san francisco. still kind of cool. we're sitting in the 60s let's head a little bit more north. now all the way up in the uk stretching all the way down into santa rosa, look at that temperature spread upper 60s quickly turning an upper 80s all throughout those inland areas. now as we head into the next 7 days, i mentioned it already. we're going continue to cool down daytime highs jump from the 60s all the way into the 50s for san francisco. so that's 1 of the microclimates climates that don't really see too much of a change. but where we do see it here. huge changes areas like our inland east bay upper 80s by tomorrow, closer than 90s. then suddenly we're talking about 60s. as we head into this weekend, the big big change is as we head into this weekend, it will be a little bit cooler and cloudier, but still dried. nonetheless, a beautiful conditions right around the corner. we'll keep you updated in the weather >>center. well still ahead, rap star sean diddy combs apologizing for that shocking and sickening video at a los angeles hotel room. >>behavior on that video. is inexcusable. i take full

people came forward in the weeks after ventura accusing combs of sexual assault, physical abuse and forced drug ing's those lawsuits. are still pending. posted online in december. let me be absolutely clear. i did not do any of the awful things being alleged in march 1 force mint rated combs mansions in california and florida as part of a federal investigation. being handled by a team that deals with human trafficking. continued to deny all claims of wrongdoing until posting this in response to the security video sunday. >>not asking for forgiveness. i'm truly sorry, >>ventura's attorney called comes words. disingenuous. saying he was only compelled to apologize. once his repeated denials were proven false. the county district attorney's office said. no case related to the attack in this security video was brought to law enforcement. and added that it is now outside the statute of
