[ cheers ] >> reporter: trump's former u.n. ambassador nikki haley and florida governor ron desantis flipped from fierce campaign foes to committed trump allies last night. >> donald trump has been demonized. he's been sued.

about what it would take for him to step aside in a presidential race. >> is there anything that you would look to, you personally, not anybody else, not other pundits or perhaps family members, that you would look to to say if i see that i will re-evaluate? >> if there was some medical condition that emerged, if somebody -- doctors came and said you got this problem, that problem. but i made a serious mistake in the whole debate. and -- and look, when i originally ran, you may remember, i said i was going to be a transitional candidate. i thought i'd be able to move from this, pass it on to someone else. but i didn't anticipate things getting so, so, so divided. and quite frankly, i think the only thing age brings a little bit of wisdom. and i think i've demonstrated that i know how to get things done for the country in spite of the fact we couldn't get it done.
3:36 am

3:37 am

3:38 am
or something, and then i seen what i knew was a gun, a machine gun. >> reporter: moments later, shots rang out. [ screams ] in this new video it shows the secret service sniper team that neutralized the shooter with a single shot. u.s. secret service director kimberly cheatle took responsibility for the security failure. >> the buck stops with me. it was unacceptable, and it's something that shouldn't happen again. >> reporter: the department of homeland security and the fbi have issued a bulletin to law enforcement nationwide warning that violent extremists could try to retaliate at election events of the next few months. meg oliver, cbs news, butler, pennsylvania. israel launched deadly missile attacks in south and central gaza. at least 60 palestinians were killed yesterday. officials in gaza say one air strike hit an israeli declared safe zone crowded with thousands of displaced people. this as the israeli government
