7:01 am
night, we're looking outside at a beautiful view from mount tam with a little bit of fog sitting down in the bay, but still a very beautiful sunrise overhead. let's get that view and you can see it right here. nice sunny skies overhead. once we get rid of this low cloud cover, we're going to be in for a bright afternoon. we're seeing low visibility with some dense fog advisories in marine sonoma and napa counties. so watch your travels up there specially but we are also seeing some spotty fog along the bayshore. to that. i want you to keep in mind, 30's to 40's for current temps, morgan hill, half moon bay, fremont up to concord and fairfield all down in the 30's. so a lot of us are definitely starting this morning on a cooler note later today, we will be getting to some sunshine and some low 60's for your highs. all beginning to rainfall later on in this forecast. all still ahead. all right, john, thank you for that is start our monday morning and i'm still seen reports. >> some fall positive pockets of fog along highways. if you're traveling near, so be mindful of that and careful,

70 min, right, as you're heading into the city right now, san mateo bridge, no hazards, no major delays still under 16 minutes. so that's moving at the limit. a richmond center fell. ridge were up just a bit. 15 minutes tolls to 101, golden gate bridge that fall were just talking about. visibility is low, use those low beams and take a time 20 minute resumes back to you. ll right. thanks a lot or in a 71 right now. now we've got to talk about the game we do. and you can't fault niners for trying. i mean, they really get out there all. they gave it a great shot and was a great game to watch fans right up to the end. sot the niners are going to pull away with a win even deep into overtime. yeah. allure of an ending. it is unfortunately didn't go the niners way for sports. director jason dumas was in vegas to see it all unfold. heading into this game. we kept saying the forty-niners needed to start off fast in. >> for a second, they were doing just that. they drove the ball down the field on the chiefs on the opening drive. 5 plays 49 yards and then
7:03 am
christian mccaffrey had his 3rd fumble of the season. get this coming into this season. he had only had one fumble in 2 years. he's had 3 this season and then the second drive of the game, 3 penalties to arguably the forty-niners best player trent williams. and then another false start right before the penalty and all of those plays got the forty-niners out of rhythm. and then we know the really costly fumble later in that game. it came on a punt and then the kansas city chiefs scored on the next play, flipped the momentum of the game. really? that's the story of the game. the forty-niners could never get a rhythm because of all those penalties. and those 2 fumbles in kansas city took advantage of it. and that's where we are. ok, how you lose when you super bowls, especially when think you can pull off. it hurts. know you when you're in
7:04 am
the nfl, i think every team should hurt except for one of we've gotten pretty close, we haven't pulled it off and >> we're hurting right now. but doesn't take away from proud of our guys i am. i'm real proud of them today, too. as part of sports, part of football as part of life. put ourselves out there and love our team in. recover and will be back in. we'll be back next year strong and christian mccaffrey was visibly emotional after this game. you could tell he's going to be thinking of that fumble all all season long. and now the niners have to pick up the pieces and think where do we go from here? >> heartbreak for a second straight super bowl. the organization have now lost 3 straight super bowls and at various points of this game, you felt like the niners were out playing the kansas city chiefs and now they go home and they have to think of this one. and that is why it probably hurts the most. thanks for joining us for all
7:05 am
of our coverage here in los vegas. i'm jason dumas of kron. 4 sports. >> we'll see this way. a leash and invest thousands of tens of thousands of dollars and go all the way to vegas to see them lose. you could see him lose right here in san francisco at the chase center and thrive city. that was a big party there. and this is towards the end where it was like no. >> oh, look at the one guy with a face. but earlier, yea, that's how this game was. you know, everybody was pretty excited at the start. there was a lot of hope and counted and sand a sea of red and gold and it doesn't get better than that. and then it didn't get worse, unfortunately. but it what you can do. >> it every you get them in a super bowl and time we were leaving at this point, we need to >> yeah. well, we'll read be recovering now in the off season. taking a look at what
7:06 am
went wrong. what went right? break it all down and just. >> take a little rest. >> maybe a maybe next time. 705, is a time right now. and like i said, what if you had spent all that mogey and now you've got to go back as have fall. they think today's going to be a big travel day because when you look at the vegas airport, they said that there are about 300,000 visitors to arrive in vegas for the big game. and so now all those people are coming home and it's probably the day that they're going to be doing that today. so as will be >> well, happening right in other news this morning, a major section of l community reality in los altos is set to reopen this morning. yeah, it was close on after a fire. remember there was a fire on christmas and the building really had to be knocked down to safely investigate. kron four's. michael thomas is live in los altos with the latest. >> i good morning, everyone. that's right. outcome. you know, reality is officially back open. you can see those lanes behind me really just flowing through. and it hasn't been open for 2 months. normally that building we were
