13 miles per hour out at the coast. not bad, right? pretty good. looking day tonight, temperatures are not going to get crazy chili, which is i'm sure good news for those of you in our inland valleys, looking out for love, about 40 degrees to about 48, if you're at the coast, but that patchy, dense fog is likely to rebuild as we get to the overnight tonight, we could even see a little coastal drizzle just to show you in fog cast here again, get into this evening. you see a few those clouds roll in. but there's that coastal drizzle in the overnight that talking about a little bit of a cloudy start to the day. but then tomorrow does shape up to be a pretty nice day. just like today, the changes happen on wednesday. that's when we have the next system that's going to roll in. this is not a big system. it is a little bit weak. we're talking about a 10th to a quarter of an inch of rain, but it will be the first of several systems roll across as we get through the weekend. i'll be back and we'll talk more about that for now. send it back to the desk. ok, kayla, thank you very after last night's super bowl loss, lot of fans, no, of course they're going to have to wait at least another year for. >> another shot at the championship kron. 4 s charles

3:19 pm
monday. that's the one that i think could be a little impactful. you can see it's kind of 2 waves, one system and then another. and this is monday as we get to monday evening. so get ready for that. but we don't have to be ready for today or tomorrow. so the first system that wednesday into thursday, we're talking about a 10th of an inch to a quarter of an inch of rain. you can see where the bulk of that is going to be more to the north of us near eureka. but as we get into that weekend system, we are going to pick up more significant totals in models this afternoon are actually coming in a little bit hotter. then they were this morning. now this will adjust as we get closer to it. but tell you what i i certainly goes to southern california here. even parts of the central coast looking to pick up some pretty incredible totals. so that is just to say that we are about where we want to be right now. rainfall wise, we've got some saturated ground out there, however, so i have a little bit of concern as we get towards the weekend. you can see we're up to 115% of normal. santa rosa 118 in san francisco. close to normal in oakland and 141% in the south bay. there in san jose. so the chances of rain as we roll into wednesday, certainly
3:20 pm
increase into thursday morning, a little bit. and then it's really going to be that weekend into next week that we start to see the heavier totals role and that's the part that i mentioning. i could be a little concerned about him, minor flooding that we could so here's your extended forecast. that doesn't mean you're going to need that umbrella with you on wednesday as we get into the afternoon and evening. that is valentine's day. so just make your plans accordingly. little bit of a break likely thursday afternoon into friday morning. but then we head right into as you can see, saturday sunday, monday, the bigger rain totals. back to you. developing news out of the east bay know police are looking for suspect after a man was found. >> stabbed to death in the parking lot of pleasant hill park. the victim identified as 37 year-old son tear go to cabo of pittsburgh. police say he worked as a janitor, had been working late friday night. he was found by his wife. she had been worried when he did not come home after a shift. people who use this park frequently are shocked by the news.
