>> good morning. thank you so much for joining us here on the kron. 4 morning news. i'm stephanie lin. it's saturday march night. let's get your day started with a look at the weather with dave sphar the good morning, stephanie. good morning, everybody. not a bad start to your day. however, looks like the cloud cover is going to win this little match here. >> as we approach around the noon hour into the early afternoon. now, there is a chance of a couple of stray showers, but the up in the north bay. but for the most part, it will probably eclipse most. >> here's the view from space. you can see the deeper moisture upstream, although there isn't much with that. it's just cloud cover. the beauty shot of the east bay shoreline. you can kind of turning somewhat high cloudiness to mostly cloudy as we get to around the noon hour, some variable winds and by the way, with the passage of all this cluster doesn't look like it's producing much the way of winds or won't there early this afternoon, a little different story tomorrow your temperature check, not bad. a lot of 40's, some lower 50's at work here. 52 san francisco and oakland, 54 san jose. cool. 48 for half moon bay. but that is ahead of where the numbers were this

time yesterday by some half a dozen, we're better degrees. the breakdown for you today. we go to kind of a mostly cloudy mode by the middle of the day. but late this afternoon into the evening, we'll probably see the skies open back up again. looking for more substantial rain. it looks like into tomorrow and then other round early into next week. morning forecast to that that stephanie. >> before thank you, dave. breaking news we're following right now out of the east bay, a neighborhood in bay point is under lockdown. the contra costa county sheriff's office is asking people near chadwick lane lancaster circle and lancaster lane to stay inside on your screen is a map of the affected area. take a good look at this. there is heavy police presence there and we are working together more information on the situation and we'll keep you posted as soon as we learn more. now to a major head-on crash oakland that left 14 people injured at that. happened between a car and an ac transit bus in the

area of 54th and international boulevard. ac transit's as a chrysler was speeding down international when it first collided with a toyota, a crash then caused the chrysler to jump over the center median and slammed head-on with the bus. officials tell us of the 14 people hurt. 2 are in critical condition, including the driver of the speeding car, all 12 passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital. another problem for united airlines flight leaving sfo. take a look at your screen here. a flight from sfo to mexico city had to divert to lax after an issue with the aircraft's hydraulic system. the faa tells us the flight landed safely at lax after the crew reported the problem. passengers continued onto mexico on a new flight. this comes just one day after a tire fell off a united plane as it took off from sfo. and here's video of that tire falling off right after takeoff. the flight was headed towards japan before being forced to divert to lax as well. united says a different

plane later took those passengers to osaka thursday night. the tire landed in the airport employee parking lot, crushing one car and damaging another. thankfully, no one was hurt. kron 4 spoke with one of the workers whose car got damaged. >> a show over there thinking that my cart over going to i saw my car. basically ripped into shreds. and then i started crying because i didn't expect that at and that's when the cops came in >> explain what had happened. united executives say they will work with customers on board that affected flight and the owners of the damage cars to make sure that everyone's needs are heard. in a statement, united said in part, quote, each of these events is distinct unrelated to each other. safety is our top priority and will continue to do everything we can to keep our customers and employees safe. new this morning, police in san mateo are warning parents about a trending tiktok game. police

say could put teens in danger. it's called senior assassins players use an app called splash in. you can track other people who are playing the same game players then shoot rival teams in real life with water, guns. but the trend takes it a step further with players painting their guns, their water, guns, black, making them look more real. police say they detained several teens around the hillsdale shopping center last night and found multiple fake guns like the ones you see on your screen there. police say that this game can turn dangerous if the fake guns are mistaken as real ones. they're asking parents to please talk to their teens. pleasanton. police say a woman found dead in her home thursday was killed by an ex-boyfriend. investigators have not yet identified the victim or suspect. police say the woman was at her home on saginaw circle thursday morning when her ex-boyfriend broke into the house. police say the 2 had an argument. the man then shot the woman several times that led to a police chase

along i-580, in san leandro where the driver later died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. parents of uc berkeley students are taking campus safety into their own hands, raising money to hire private security was amanda hari has the latest. >> according to the department of education. uc berkeley is the 3rd most dangerous college campus in america. and that needs to change. sauder to tiny is the president of safe bears and a father of 2 uc berkeley students. he says as soon as they arrived on campus in 2022. >> there were safety concerns. i think there's a real the man. >> for more safety resources around the university. he says he started the nonprofit a year ago after felt the university wasn't doing enough to keep students safe were forced to invest and talk about safety. >> the cause it's become so dire. safe bears worked with cal parents in 2023 to raise more than $40,000 to launch a

pilot security program that just started this week. private security guards are now stationed around the uc berkeley campus. 6 safety ambassadors are stationed around the marked areas from 6, 30 at night until 3 in the morning. all are wearing bright colored jackets. that's a security. i think that there's more mixed feelings from the administration about what we're doing. >> we were very forthcoming. we told them what we had in mind. they've known about this for months now. but now that it's finally here and it's launched you know, it's not a great look for the university, according to safe bears, all the security guards have california guard cards. >> and have undergone background checks. the guards will not carry any weapons like pepper spray or but hans, still some students say they welcome more guards. i think that. >> a lot of students sometimes can feel kind of unsafe and just knowing they can feel safer will help you feel more comfortable campus, able to focus school more. overall,

just going to different camps. a good thing. the pilot program will run through march 23rd. >> the safe bears will then evaluate how it and it extend it in berkeley. amanda hari kron, 4 news. >> happening today, the group working to recall oakland mayor sheng thao holds a town hall with updates on their efforts. the group started collecting signatures for the recall petition last month say they're fed up with crime in the lack of a permanent police chief in the city. mayor thao has told prom for the recall campaign is organized by her political opponents who previously ran against her. the group needs 25,000 signatures by july to get the recall on the november ballot. today's town hall starts at 04:00pm at 10. 0, 7 clay street. in the south bay. there are more transit options for people living east san jose. the vta board of directors approved a construction contract for a long overdue light rail extension. kron four's dan thorn reports.

>> the vta project connecting east san jose to milpitas. bart is finally rolling along the vta board unanimously approved the construction contract thursday night with mcm rail work. city leaders say after 2 decades of broken promises, it's time for the wait to end. it's going bring about positive change in a historically disadvantaged. >> area of not just san jose but silicon valley councilmember domingo canned ellis says east san jose's lower-income population. >> has long had to deal with limited transit options through this new project can tell us says it will allow his district to have more access to jobs and resources. it opens up a lot of opportunity for residents and small businesses and and working class families to get reliably to. and from point a to point the 2 and a half mile extension includes an elevated light rail track along capitol

expressway from the alum rock station to the east ridge transit center, which will connect to bart in milpitas. >> the total cost of the project is expected to be more than 650 million dollars, which is more than what vta officials previously budgeted. >> but the vote on the project was seen by city leaders as crucial to make the transit system more equitable to the east side of san jose. this could be a game-changer for residents in the san jose. >> that was dan thorn reporting for us. the vta is hoping that construction on the project will start as early as next month. and real service could begin by 2028. the oakland a's got their first taste of las vegas last night. the team host of the milwaukee brewers in the first of 2 spring training games. the a's lost. but before the game we heard from the team's president about the possibility the a's could play more games in sun city before their new stadium is built. >> but vegas, no regular season games here. you want to make a big splash in 28 when

you come here in the new state was at the plant. that is the plan. but i think there could be some games in or spice, you know, in the season. that's a possibility. we're looking at that and trying to understand how that would work. we have to obviously work with the aviators and figure out their schedule. but, you know, our season starts a little early. so there might be an opportunity >> start their regular season at the end of the month, this could be their last season at the oakland coliseum. the team's lease is set to expire later this year. the team is considering other options in case they're not able to extend their lease beyond this season. the new stadium in vegas is expected to open in 2028. coming up on the kron 4 morning news. how last week's winter storm affected our state's water resources. >> now, the primary election day has come and gone. we have a better idea of how voter turnout fair. >> and here's a hint. it was not good capital correspondent, 8, how also have a closer look at the updated numbers. >> a couple early should raise of son that we're getting here is going to cover it up. power reproach around the noon hour.

that last leicester matic than that. that's what stephanie? >> yeah. we have some hazy sunshine to start don't get too attached because we're probably going to be looking at kind of mostly cloudy a little bit as we get to around the noon hour of any sort of weather that this thing is bringing in might get a few little showers up in the north bay. that's about it. not even a major pop of winds today. little bit more. so, however, tomorrow, though, that's more the day to watch a bit. so here's how it looks like from space. it looks like more substantial moisture upstream, but that's where cloud cover. we're not picking up a lot of radar returns with all of this. we've been up in the north bay. it looks to be very modest that that let's go to futurecast for here with all of this. and this is about when the line is due to arrive in the early afternoon. again, penciling in that chance of a sprinkle. and then we clear out just around sunset, sorry. and then we get into tomorrow. increase the clouds, right when we get the sun here. but conditions calling it could be much cooler today. and tomorrow than today. however, as far as that line of rain that we're talking about getting here, looks like that

doesn't happen till late tomorrow. that will be after sunset. so expect costs sky conditions kind of cloud up a little bit early on. and then the rain happens when we get past sunset that clears out. looks okay for your monday. however, we're waiting for the shoe to drop. let's get back. those winds now little bit of a breeze going on with this initial wave that comes through with cloud cover, almost like a blustery feel a bit to little cooler than we experienced from friday. certainly then tomorrow afternoon here, the winds before that line drops to the south. nice on short clip there. you can see well in the business of the teens and even some 20's it passes, doesn't leave much with it. so today kind of cloudy on balance north bay midday shower, perhaps or sprinkle almost late partial clearing will for the wider bay. and that really means after sunset with that tomorrow we go to increasing clouds again, colder, same kind of drill, rain and windy late, though, and it will be after sunset next week. rain and showers early in. the next big hit looks to be monday night through tuesday morning.

after that point, wednesday's kind of like a working out deal, kind of clearing out what's left on the table here. and then thursday, friday away we go late might be looking at some mid 70's for high temperatures. so it's going to be definitely spring spring here. 59 san francisco, 61 for oakland and 62 for san jose were going call that kind of variable clouds on the bigger map here. lower 60's. so maybe not as warm as yesterday, but certainly much warmer. they're going see for tomorrow. we're going to get more into that longer range forecast in a bit. by the way, step in this package does carry with it a little bit of the way of some snow shower activity. know, they're going get a little bit more up there. however, for this weekend, i think we're okay. and this batch that we're going to get if you're coming back on sunday night, you might have a little weather to deal with but nothing too terrible. the bigger he's going to be monday night tuesday and good for those skiers and snowboarders who want to head out there to know have more to what we get spring by the end of next week. so yes, yeah, exactly. thanks so much that. >> well, good weekend for skiers and snowboarders headed

to sierra wright. as dave just mentioned, last weekend's blizzard lot brought more than 8 feet of snow to the area. watch this. >> the weekend blizzard that clew through the sierra last weekend made for difficult travel conditions and ski resorts were closed for several days once the area was shoveled out, places like palisades tahoe were able to take advantage of the fresh powder this past weekend from thursday evening. >> they're monday. we got 8 feet of snow. it was insane. pr coordinator at palisades maddy condon says because of all the new snow, the ski resort will extend their season to may 27th. >> memorial day weekend skiing is a good sign for the state's snowpack. it's always great space to lake. it's great for watershed. it's great for the california drought that we've seen the past. you know, a few years. so the more so the merrier, as always, that scares hearts. the california department of water resources keeps a close eye on the state's snowpack. according to the manager of the department's hydrology section david the statewide snowpack is just above 100%. but then

we had this really good snowstorm really push does. >> where we want to be at this time of the year early march hesitates to be too optimistic because he's still paying close attention to the day. april first, that's about when the state reaches peak snowpack each year department of water resources wants to see more snow in the forecast before then saying 100% snowpack does not result in 100% runoff. if you have a little bit extra, maybe 110, 215%, then you give yourself a buffer to to maximize the runoff into our reservoir is which is important every year. >> a government shutdown avoided after the senate passed a 460 billion dollars spending package today ahead of friday friday's midnight deadline rather. now this after plenty of debate across party lines, republicans have been calling for drastic spending cuts while democrats accuse the gop of delaying a decision friday successful vote lawmakers halfway in wrapping up their

appropriations work. the 2024 budget year. >> and with the primary election in the rearview mirror, we now have a better idea how voter turnout turned out to statewide. and it's not great. kron four's capitol correspondent eytan wallace spoke with a political data expert. >> well, keep in mind, california, some ballast to more than 20 million registered voters weeks in advance of election day. but even so turnout was historically low. >> it was actually the second lowest turnout of a presidential primary in the state's history. that's how bad paul mitchell says the turnout was in california super tuesday primary election. mitchell who serves as vice president of the voter ballot tracking service, political data inc says, well, ballots are still being processed based on the numbers he has of the 22 million registered voters in the state. when it's all said and done. he projects the final turn out to stand somewhere between 33 and 35% presidential primaries are generally closer to 50% turnout, but they also vary

greatly depending on whether or not they're competitive races. and that's precisely why he says california's primary turnout was low noting donald trump and joe biden faced little competition in their respective primaries. so that lack of the top of the ticket really did depress turnout and change the demographics of the voters who did actually vote in this election. in fact, mitchell note, heading into election day early data showed older whiter and more conservative californians voted in larger numbers than younger, more progressive voters. while data from the secretary of state's office showed as of friday, more than 2 million ballots still need to be processed. mitchell says even so the turnout demographics we've seen up to now made enough of a difference to greatly propel republican u.s. senate candidate steve garvey to the runoff against democrat adam schiff. still, mitchell says we are likely to see a totally different turnout story in the november general election when america will choose between joe biden and donald trump in november, it will be an

happening today in san francisco after more than 2 decades seafood restaurant catch. >> serves its last dinners in the castro. the business announced its closure earlier this week. the location was officially deemed a landmark in 2004 for being the original home of the names project in memorial to honor the lives lost to aids. today, francisco's union square blooms with 10's of thousands of tulips. organizers say this month's event is in honor of international women's day. you'll be able to pick a limited number of flowers for free. the garden opens at 01:00pm and closes at 4.30. you can't make it out today to update. does return in may, july and august. lots of people expected out there to get in line early and that markets return to san francisco friday night chinatown hosted one of grant avenue featuring traditional

chinese food and activities. as you can see there, it returns every second friday of the month until november. the sunset neighborhood night market is also expected to be back later this year. some state lawmakers want to ban decaf coffee. they say it's made with a chemical that can increase the risk of cancer. the coffee makers argue the chemicals washed off the beans after happy and is removed. the bill will need to be voted on before being taken up by committee. still ahead on the kron 4 morning news, a san francisco shop owner turns to social media to raise awareness of shoplifting and now she's going viral. now she's going viral. >> that story up next.

sfo not looking too bad at all. by the way, no delays being reported out that way. and there you see that kind of clump of clouds off towards our west. but it does not much bite with the bark. there isn't much rain to be had and it we're actually waiting for a more substantial line to come through probably tomorrow evening. so timing on all this is great. well, this one is kind of the middle of the day, but tomorrow looks like that will happen after sunset and also the one monday. what happened after sunset as well. temperature check for you. most readings in the 40's and 50's at this hour. that puts us a little ahead of the ball game where we were this time from yesterday. so later on by 1 o'clock, you can see most parts kind of dry out a little bit except up in the north bay here. then that's the marine layer again. and then as we get into sunday night with that line of shower activity, hard to discriminate between that and typical marine layer. but there you have the numbers. well in the 80's and some lower 90's. but the drying out shows you we're not really wet, wet at the surface too much here. that sets the stage for one of 2 hits. the bigger one will be monday

increase kron four's. dan kerman reports on how much your bill could go up and by when. >> if you think p g any bills are already high, get ready for another increase. the california public utilities commission is okay to 12 month rate hike so pg and e can recoup a portion of the money that was spent for wildfire safety work. that means in late april early may average electric bills will go up about $3.65 a month and gas bills will increase just over a dollar a month. >> it is absolutely unsustainable. have double digit increase. 5th year after year. martone with the utility reform network says this latest increase. >> is on top of the 13% rate hike that went into effect in january. that's all bills go up. an average of $34 and $0.50 a month. people who are seniors, retired fixed income. this able. these are the folks to get hurt the most. by these rate increases. bill increases. more than anyone

else. they need a limit. >> tony is hoping customers will pressure state lawmakers to cap eugenie increases since 2019. san francisco has been exploring another option having the san francisco public utilities commission purchased the grid and take over the distribution of electricity in the city and county of san francisco. >> made a formal offer to pg and e to purchase their grid for 2.5 billion dollars. they have told it's not for sale. and that the price is too low. so far pg and e has and entertain the buyout. but san francisco is pushing forward. we think we can provide the service at a more reliable cost-effective rate. we are structurally advantaged as as a local government and providing that service under the local government model. in the meantime, another rate

hike request is still pending before the california public utilities commission. >> this one would see another 7.2% hike in electric bills. dan kerman kron. 4 news. >> on deputies are looking for a murder suspect. they released an image of that person. they say the death happened on february 9th in the ashland community not far from the bayfair shopping mall. police say that they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. there. official sharing that image from the scene. they say the woman had a mobility issue. both victims were taken to a hospital in the area. the woman did not survive. if you recognize this man, please give alameda county sheriff's office and deputies a call. and police in richmond are looking for this person who ran off with a donation box from the richmond arts center. this video from thursday shows a person in a dark hooded sweatshirt carrying the box and away on a bike. if you recognize the suspect, please call richmond police. a new

trial has started for 2 former marine county students convicted of killing an italian police officer in rome back in 2019 that help high teens were vacationing in italy when the 2 met up with a drug dealer. turned out to be an undercover cop. prosecutors say finnegan lee elder stabbed an officer 11 times and gabriel mattel dort helped him hide the knife in their hotel room. they were sentenced to life in prison. but last year, italy's highest court threw out the convictions based on the defense's argument. but the 2 americans did not realize they were dealing with italian police hearings continue next month with a resolution expected by summer. in oakland. thieves broke into this lgbtq youth club. take a look right here. the front door of tell youth clubs now boarded up after it was damaged. leaders at the center tell us that this happened early thursday morning. it's unclear what the thieves took from the center of this time center. officials say that

they do plan to replace that damaged or with an 8,000 new homes could be coming to san francisco. mayor london breed announcing plans to make treasure island, the largest source of new housing in the bay area. the goal is to create new homes on the island by 2030. family and friends were invited to a graduation ceremony at san quentin rehab center this week as kron 4 ella sogomonian reports all part of an effort to help incarcerated people get ready for the workforce. >> shouldn't clinton a graduation ceremony for about 50 men were taught skills from construction to coating. the idea is to give them tools to succeed as contributing members of society. once they get out, tony, to for his parents came to cheer him on as he got his certificate and audio production. he already runs a podcast called your host. >> you know, it's just a pure joy. we'll see a complex. something else i should say. not just what he's accomplished much in the past

toyota that crash caused the chrysler to jump over the center median and slammed head-on with the bus. officials tell us that the 14 people hurt 2 are in critical condition, including the driver of that speeding car. all dozen passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital. another problem for united airlines flight leaving sfo. take a look at this live from sfo to mexico city had to divert to lax after an issue with the aircraft's hydraulic system. the faa tells us the flight landed safely at lax after the crew reported the problem. passengers continued on to mexico on a new flight. this comes just one day after a tire fell off a united plane as it took off from sfo. here's video of that tire falling off right after take off. you can see it right there on your screen. the flight was headed towards japan before it was forced to divert to lax as well. united says a different plane later took those passengers to osaka thursday night. the tire landed at the airport employee

>> welcome back to kron. 4 morning news. good morning, everybody. we take a look at our mount tam picture here. looks like they're actually getting a little bit in the way of some weather here. you can see the cloud cover. there are actually in the midst of it. what's interesting is when you take a look at the profile, the atmosphere get above this. a couple of 1000 feet above that huge layer of dry air right above that, which is going to change because encroaching on upstream. there's the deck of cloud cover. there could be some sprinkles with that mount tam probably going to get some of those 2 already. but there are several 1000 feet up there. so a lot of that's going to dry out by the time reaches the surface for the

greater bay area. you can count on good deal of cloud cover. it looks like towards the middle of the day, give or take a few hours for noon. if yours after before, it starts to clear out a little bit for tonight. here it is on future cast for that line marches right through the middle of the day. horrible timing. sorry about that. and then starts to clear out towards the latter portion of the day. now your sunday. some are kind of pattern as well. we start off with a couple raise a son in the south bay. you might get some morning sunshine and a good chunk of the east bay until the afternoon. the prime meridian part changes there you have it by 9 o'clock and the rain is involved across the bay area. a little rain event going on here for us and the more substantial one, however, is upstream for monday night tuesday. by the way, this line here is what prompted the national weather service to add to this with the winter storm watch that's been posted he doesn't include tahoe. it's actually more in the foothills. but as meant a as a notation of that, there you have that first hit. and then again, another one monday night tuesday. that will be

the area. our kron kron four's rob nesbitt reports. >> the weekend blizzard that blew through the sierra last weekend made for difficult travel conditions and ski resorts were closed for several days once the area was shoveled out, places like palisades tahoe were able to take advantage of the fresh powder this past weekend from thursday evening. >> they're monday. we got 8 feet of snow. it was insane. pr coordinator at palisades maddy condon says because of all the new snow, the ski resort will extend their season to may 27th. >> memorial day weekend skiing is a good sign for the state's snowpack. it's always great space to lake. it's great for watershed. it's great for the california drought that we've seen the past. you know, a few years. so the more so the merrier, as always, that scares hearts. the california department of water resources keeps a close eye on the state's snowpack. according to the manager of the department's hydrology section david the statewide snowpack is just above 100%. but then we had this really good snowstorm really push does.

state's history. that's how bad paul mitchell says the turnout was in california super tuesday primary election. mitchell who serves as vice president of the voter ballot tracking service, political data inc says, well, ballots are still being processed based on the numbers h of the 22 million registered voters in the state. when it's all said and done. he projects the final turn out to stand somewhere between 33 and 35% presidential primaries are generally closer to 50% turnout, but they also vary greatly depending on whether or not they're competitive races. and that's precisely why he says california's primary turnout was low noting donald trump and joe biden faced little competition in their respective primaries. so that lack of the top of the ticket really did depress turnout and change the demographics of the voters who did actually vote in this election. in fact, mitchell note, heading into election day early data showed older whiter and more conservative californians voted in larger numbers than younger, more progressive voters. while data

bills will increase just over a dollar a month. >> it is absolutely unsustainable. have double digit increase. 5th year after year. martone with the utility reform network says this latest increase. >> is on top of the 13% rate hike that went into effect in january. that's all bills go up. an average of $34 and $0.50 a month. people who are seniors, retired fixed income. this able. these are the folks to get hurt the most. by these rate increases. these bill increases. more than anyone else. they need a limit. >> tony is hoping customers will pressure state lawmakers to cap eugenie increases since 2019. san francisco has been exploring another option having the san francisco public utilities commission purchased the grid and take over the distribution of electricity in the city and county of san francisco.

francisco saw a rise in retail theft and burglaries, according to city leaders. overall, crime numbers are down in the city for the month of february. this year. mayor london breed's office reports that when comparing february 2024, to the same month last year, the city saw a 37% reduction in larceny, which includes car break-ins and retail theft. they're reporting a 20% reduction in robberies and a 14% reduction in burglaries. postscript is located on california street off fillmore near high fashion stores and restaurants that have also been targets of retail theft. crime data from the san francisco police department shows the northern station which covers this neighborhood, saw a drop and larceny theft and burglaries. 10 file police reports so police can keep track of the crime data as the pd tells kron 4 to department received a report of shoplifting at 10 shop on february 23rd just before 01:00pm where an unknown female was in the store and stole merchandise and got away. well, the crime maybe down the costs for a small business when it

low to jump over the center median and slammed head-on with the bus. officials tell us of the 14 people hurt. 2 are in critical condition, including the driver of the speeding car, all dozen passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital. another problem for united airlines flight leaving sfo. take a look flight from sfo to mexico city. a diver to lax after an issue with the aircraft's hydraulic system. the faa tells us the flight landed safely at lax after the crew reported the problem. passengers continued on to mexico on a new flight. this comes just one day after a tire fell off a united plane as it took off from sfo. here's video of that tire falling off right after takeoff. it could see it going there. the flight was headed towards japan before diverted to lax as well. united says a different plane later took those passengers to osaka thursday night. the tire landed in the airport's parking lot. airports employee parking lot rather question one car and damaging another.

to have you both. so first of all, tell us a bit about the parade. it's been around for uuite some time. >> yeah, this is 170rd parades about 174 years ago. irish group got together and decided to celebrate our heritage. so the parade and then again, we brought back the festival this year is going to be amazing. it's going to be a great day. we looked at the weather. listen to your weather man. and we know it's going to be great. sunny we're going to have everybody come out and help celebrate the irish traditions with us then testing and tell us to a bit about how it feels to be a participating. it with your dancers is with in this parade. it's actually one of the biggest states of the year for. >> it's the one time that we want all the dancers to participate. so we'll have about 70 dancers and our unit we've been doing it since 1963, as the murphy honest answer. so hopefully this year will go well. we've been through rain and and so that's
