>> and we are going to see that sunshine a little quicker than we did that yesterday. for those of you that are in the gray, san jose, you're one of those spots. in fact, we're seeing that stretching all the way up the bayshore on up into the north bay, even a few spots along the carquinez marine layer but enough. so to have that cooling effect this morning, burning off quicker means warming, great care. and daytime highs today will be just a touch warmer than yesterday's oakland and alameda at 53 degrees right now looking at pacific as well as a few spots in the north bay. down in the 40's later on daytime highs. lot of 70's in a few more 80's than yesterday. i'll give you all the details. still to come in your full forecast rain. all right, john, thank you for good news. we've been tracking that overturned big rig in 80 westbound west grant. >> and now looks like they've got things back up, right? at least still that west grand avenue exit. if you are into going into the city this morning, it's still closed because they got to get this now told off of that overpass. there showing you exactly where that is on your screen right up here. as for that big

rig overturned. so it's been about 3 hours now and at least they got it back up, right? so we'll be watching. but toll that off no major delays traveling into the city is not really impacting any the traffic along 80. if you are going hit the road. san mateo bridge about 20 minutes, we're starting to pick up along 8.80, in the east bay. 12 minute ride. richmond, sandra fell bridge is still looking really good. and the golden gate bridge. 22 minutes. the fog is not really slowing you down there too much. all right, james, back to you. all right. want to get to our top story now. a date is set for the recall election of alameda county district attorney pamela price. voters will decide in the november general election. that question we have kron four's will tran live in alameda county. >> that's a date that's apparently good for one side, not for the other. >> now the other side, the people who want her out of her job, they actually wanted to decide this as early as august. let's get right to the video last night. many people on both sides of the issue, those for and against pamela

price. they showed up at county board of supervisors meeting in alameda county and they voice their opinions. now, supporters say november 5th is fair because that's when she won her position in 2022. during the general election, they also believe more people will turn out during that time. so a bigger sample size is good for district attorney pamela price. now people who want her recalled, they want a special election, a stand-alone election because they want this issue settled sooner than later. but ultimately the board of supervisors unanimously voted november 5th because it was a lot cheaper. then a special election both sides of the issue with reaction. >> da price won her election fairly. it should be allowed to serve her entire term. this recall is ridiculous. so many businesses that are closing down because they are the da

is not prosecuting. these criminals says the selective recall election. >> has violated the county charter. it is actually illegal and undemocratic. all we want is justice. accountability for the citizens. alameda county. >> people want her recalled and we're talking 75,000 and more signatures verified even get it to this particular point. they believe pamela price is soft on crime and soft on suspects. and that's why they want her out of the job. but supporters, they obviously don't. and they are looking forward to november 5th when in alameda county, there are 960,000 registered voters. and just a final break down a general election for this will cost about 4 million dollars, a special election as much as 20 million dollars. and that is why they chose the cheaper option of 4 million dollars. back to you. >> thank you very much. well

704, and new this morning, teachers in the south bay are rallying this morning. they're demanding better pay. yeah, they want >> that and other things on the bargaining table as a talk with the district now proffers michael thomas following it all from los gatos. michael. >> hey, good morning, everyone. teachers and some parents are going to be here this morning at 7.45. rallying for better pay. they see there are some of the lowest paid in the entire county. take a look. this is general video that we have of los gatos high school now today at around 7.45, or so los gatos saratoga, high school district teachers association plan to rally for awareness here in los gatos high school asking for that was better salaries saying the district is not paying them livable wages for them to live here. in addition, they say that most teachers also have to take on second jobs just to survive in this area. lastly, they're asking for smaller class sizes and more help when it comes to specialty classes saying it's all about student safety back out here live again. it's set to start within the next hour or so. we're hoping to not

only from some of those teachers, but possibly some parents. as for now, we'll send it back to live in the studio. >> michael, thank you. time now 705. and we want to get to the north bay and show you a map of where this happened. there was a shooting and a man was killed yesterday afternoon in vallejo. as you can see it happen on marquette avenue. by the time police got there, they had found the victim with a gunshot wound in use taken to the hospital where he died. we don't have his name at this point or anything surrounding the shooting. so we'll keep you posted. >> well, meantime, an east bay fremont police are investigating now after several vehicles were vandalized at the tesla factory in fremont yesterday. they say several parked vehicles had their tires damaged. on the peninsula. a motorist was killed in a crash that happened last night on southbound 2.80, right near redwood city. the california highway patrol says it was a hyundai accent and a pickup truck that crashed into each other near the edgewood off a

road off-ramp. they say they're trying right now to confirm which of those 2 drivers died. >> on the peninsula, a san mateo county man is in jail. he's accused of having with a child younger than 14 redwood city police arrested 19 year-old andre gomes yesterday in east palo alto. they say the incident happened in redwood city and now they're investigating to see if there are any other victims involved. san jose police are asking for your help. they want to locate a man who sexually assaulted awesome. one. 50 year-old julian martinez is accused of pulling a young girl under 14 freeway overpass and sexually assaulting her. the attack happened on april 9th. you can some of those photos here. the girl managed to fight him off and then he took off on a bike. >> we'll take a look at this video that's going viral on tiktok. it shows charging cables cut had a tesla charging station of the layup.

the thieves are believed to targeted the stations in order to get the copper from inside the cables. all of the charging stations are back in service this morning. but kron 4, sarah spence and spoke to the person who posted that video. >> all the charging josh posted this now viral tiktok showing tesla charging cables slashed in stolen from multiple charging stalls on sunday. this happening at a tesla supercharger station in vallejo. >> behind the target on admiral callaghan lane. and i noticed that only at. >> couple other tesla charging stations had not been cut. >> after looking at one of the cut cables, becker says he knew exactly what happened and the suns have a little copper poor so i catch it spent 17 years investigating these kinds of crime we would find generators in the back of big box retailers stripped of their copper right now. copper sells for $3, a pound on average and you get up to around 10 to 12 miles. and

>> 7.12 right now checking out the weather with the weather is not less great than was yesterday and i think temperatures are yeah, we're going to warm towards the middle of the week which is kind of right around now. good morning jog. yeah, i think you saw this camera, daria, that looks wet, right? it's little misty out there. but yeah. >> it's just cool. we are warming a little bit. says james mentioned temperatures today will climb into the low 60's at the coast. and even though that marine layer is very present towards the coast, actually burns off a little quicker than it did yesterday and temps are going to warm just a little bit further. all are changes in this forecast are very shallow changes. it's kind of some light ups and downs, know roller coaster weather fog at the coast. warm inland. and yeah, daytime highs today rising a little bit further

for inland areas that will take more of us into the 80's coastal spots. i expect some 60's for you now we will see a return of marine layer fog into tomorrow. and i do expect that to be a little bit denser, but also burning off pretty quickly in today. and tomorrow are ever so slightly. the warmer days of the forecast. highs in the 60's for san francisco and for the coast and looking at a lot of 70's along the bay shore today for a few of us like redwood city getting close to 80 degrees right along the bay. some low 80's for the south bay with san jose. and campbell is 82 solid 80's for the tri valley today. heyward up to oakland. you'll be in. the 70's will are very warm. a spot today is vacaville just shy of 90 degrees for your wednesday. santa rosa also reaching the low 80's tomorrow. very similar to today. likely not quite as hot but very similar friday, saturday and sunday, just a little bit cooler by the end of the weekend. in fact, will be in the mid 70's inland. a nice break from those warmer temps, rain. all right, john,

thank you for that. keeping a close eye on 80 westbound west grant. >> and at least to the big rig is back. right? we've been following the story throughout the morning for at least the past 3 hours. big rig overturned the early morning hours and shut down the overpass. overpass still shut down. but the big freeze back up, right? no longer overturned. and but it's still closed up there. so you still can't take that if you are going to be traveling. hopefully within the next hour, they able to pull that off of the overpass and open things back up. it has a really big of issue for the bay bridge, though, if you're traveling into the city to fremont street exit, still going take you just 20 minutes to those folks to exit off of that over am 20 minute ride on the mateo bridge. 8.80, starting to pick up just a little bit in the east bay, 101 by 7 minutes. last check in. we're at 30 minutes. we got up 7 to 88 e 2 good options but not necessary in the early morning hours like this. so then the 2.37. about 33 minutes. 5, 88, 80, both pretty light. well, looks like 5.80, a little congestion

might be a better alternate if you're trying to decide between the 2 along 80 crockett up towards the maze. but 30 minute you start to build soon as you hit san pablo james, back to you. >> thank you very much. rain 7.15, is the time at highway one in big sur is reopening to traffic this friday. part of that highway collapsed. you may remember last march following one of our winter storms. it happened just after a mile of just about a mile north of the famous bixby bridge. crews say when it reopens on friday, they are going to have some signals there because this will be one-way traffic getting around that area in both directions. you're going alternate. there is a projec3 to construct a permanent repair on that highway. but that's currently in the design phase. but they're hoping to have it finished by spring of next year, 7.16, and the u.s. citizenship and immigration services are opening an office. >> for asylum seekers in oakland. it's located on clay street and it opens today. it's just a temporary

location. however, they still have that office in san francisco, but they're looking to increase the capacity there and hold asylum interviews. the agency is urging applicants double check your interview. notice because you can now expect to have a notice to attend an interview at either the san francisco or the new oakland office. in the east bay, a group of city workers and union leaders rallied at oakland city hall yesterday. they are demanding answers to the allegations that the city failed to collect millions of dollars in taxes from businesses in oakland. officials estimate nearly 35 million in unpaid business taxes still outstanding with some businesses failing to file their taxes altogether. union leaders and workers are asking for more transparency and a better system when it comes to collecting taxes. >> for your health, a new set of coronavirus variants known as flirt is now sparking concerns about a potential uptick in cases this summer. officials say for 2 weeks in april, the variant made up

inflation report day the consumer price index us what we got. it says a basket of >> goods and services and how much they cost compared to previous times and year-over-year. this basket continues to go up. 3.4%. that is what we thought. now. 70% of that gain was gas and housing. u.s. household debt has reached a record and more borrowers are struggling to keep up. federal reserve data says the persistent rise the prices of essentials like food and rent of strain budgets that's pushed people to borrow against their credit cards to pay for necessities. in fact, as of march 3.2% of outstanding debt in the u.s. was in some stage of delinquency. well, americans and travelers around the world continue to place a high priority on a summer vacations. tripadvisor says 95% of respondents are planning to travel as much or more than last summer. that's despite some worries about the economy and over a quarter of americans are planning. it's been $5,000 or more on their getaways. americans are looking for adventure. the top

international destination is cancun, mexico in the top u.s. destinations. las vegas. finally, some mcdonald's customers are bidding a bitter farewell to free drink refills of latest casualty of inflation. a company rep told business insider, but charging for refills will be left at the discretion of the individual restaurant owners and operators. mcdonald's tends to be a leader in the industry very often when they make a change like this other restaurants follow suit live from the nasdaq market site. i'm jane king back to james wright la so to refill stations are out where customers are be kind of hard to police that we'll see. >> thank you, jane. all right. in the east bay, tesla now is accused of violating federal clean air acts. hundreds of times by letting its fremont plant emit harmful pollutants. that's the charge in this lawsuit filed by the nonprofit. >> called environmental democracy project. it says that elon musk's company exposed nearby residents and workers to excess nitrogen oxides, arsenic and other chemicals, mainly through its paint shop operations was back

in february. the tesla agreed to pay 1.5 million dollars to settle a separate lawsuit by more than 2 dozen counties claiming that it mishandled hazardous waste at locations across california. >> a new study finds abortions in the u.s. are increasing. researchers at uc san francisco. notice this happening despite the u.s. supreme court's decision overturning roe v wade in 2022. in 2023, there were 86,000 abortions per month in the u.s. there are about 82,000 abortions per month, the year before the increase took place, even as 14 states have total abortion bans. the study says the increase is due to telehealth consultations where patients talk to doctors and other state women can get abortion pills providers in states that are protected by shield laws. it's 7.21, coming up on the kron. 4 morning news. another store closes.

for san francisco was forced to turn around and go back to singapore now because of engine troubles. that wasn't boeing 7.87 aircraft. officials say it had more than 200 people on board at the time everybody landed safely. they're going to be rebooked later today on to another flight to get back here to the bay area. but this is the latest in a series of incidents related to united aircraft, many of which have involved flights to sfo. so that flight eventually land safely. meanwhile, surveillance video captures the terrifying moment that the nose of a delta plane burst into flames. look to see the smoke coming out of the nose of the aircraft. it happened last night after the flight flight 604, landed at seattle sea-tac airport. it was coming from cancun, mexico. the aircraft is carrying 189 passengers. 2 pilots, 4 flight attendants. investigators say that fire started when an electrical cord that was plugged into the plane shorted out. delta airlines is everybody on the plane managed to deplane safely.

>> the irs is warning if you use a tax preparer and you claiming get some, you know, let's say that how you can get some extra cash do in your tax return a certain way and get refund. you can get in trouble for filing fake or incorrect tax return. the irs warns you not to fall for any scammers. they say, for example, that they can use the fuel tax and the sick and family leave or household employment tax credit when you don't qualify for those some tax preparers. also, falsley claim fictional household employees for credits. so they just say that, you know, beware because any amount fraud or failure or you know anything that suspect on tax return. you're the one that pays the price and you're the one that is responsible, not a tax preparer. next on the kron 4 morning news. give the homeless treatment, not jail time. that's the message from community leaders in san francisco will see how they. >> thank the overdose deaths in the city and the homeless

fell bridge just short of 15 minutes of things are starting to pick up there. we're about 7 minutes last few times i checked things are growing and a 30 minute ride. the fog that you're seeing not really showing slowing you down too much today, but one of the north bay is just a little sluggish darya. james, back to you. thanks a lot. let's get to the big story that we're following this morning, which is the status of the protest, the bay area colleges that have seen student protesters. 3 weeks. kids have been camped out and others that uc berkeley and that ended yesterday for weeks, the campus of popped campuses across the bay students demanding universities cut ties. >> with israel as to other universities now set deadlines for students to clear up the tents that they've set up. yeah, and those deadlines for yesterday. let's take a look at the encampment at cow. >> as it stood yesterday, students have been there for 3 weeks at sproul hall and the chancellor. sent a letter out yesterday saying that the school leaders and the demonstrators has halved

reached an agreement. and that the university for its part would be creating a committee to look over the investments they have in israel. they say they will be able to fully divest, but they are going to look into specifically weapons, manufacturing and surveillance industry investment. meantime, student protesters at san francisco state also reach an agreement with the administration after more than 2 weeks of demonstrating, the group announced that the school's president and other leaders have committed to divest from weapons manufacturers. >> and create workforce to develop new screenings for investments. the student protesters scheduled a press conference for this afternoon to discuss the matter further >> and in the south san jose state, there was a deadline of yesterday at 06:00pm that the school gave for the protesters to clear out their encampment. but as kron 4 jack moment reports, they have no plans to leave any time soon. >> what started as daytime the

state's campus is now a 24 7 encampment. >> because i understand that our campus is very silent and complicit with not only genocide, but also as 9 isn't. >> around 70 protesters asking the university to abide by their demands. professor of justice studies saying kill is the adviser for some of the students here. the students in solidarity each other decided to launch a popular university for gaza. and another point of contention is tommy smith, the 1960, at olympia who famously raised his fist and the support of human rights posted an instagram. his support for the protesters said as a state. on the other hand, says they for the opposite from smith and the other and libyan bear. john carlos, i do think that makes the administration a little bit nervous about this encampment, even existing so close to graduation. meantime, back on campus, the deadline to move out has passed. no police and no forcing out saying kill says

she iants to keep advocating for her students. so that's why i risk my own skin in order to protect their right to free speech and academic freedom to speak out against this genocide. now officials with san jose state tell me that many of the students and of violating the student code of conduct what that punishment may look like remains to be seen with the administration telling me we're just so close to graduation. >> reporting in san jose, jackie moment kron 4 thank you, jack. well, from san jose to san francisco now where students at ucsf are also given a deadline of 03:00pm yesterday by school leaders. >> to leave these encampments or face consequences. just like at san jose state. they instead held a rally. the school's graduation, as we know is on saturday. and these demonstrators say they are prepared to stay at the encampment even beyond graduatoon if their demands aren't met. >> says the suspension or explosion. so you are at risk of being suspended or expelled. and we just think that's a scare tactic. we think that we understand that

we have so much power as a collective of what we did here. >> either encampment has been really unifying for all of us. >> well, the university has been in talks with those protesters. they say they've been working to keep an open dialogue. in a statement, the university says there are no plans right now to clear those encampments or involve law enforcement. as long as the demonstrators to remain peaceful and nonviolent. the family of a man who died after being in police custody in antioch has settled with that city now for 7 and a half million dollars, the antioch city council voted to approve the settlement in a closed session. the civil rights suit against the city was filed on behalf of the family of 30 year-old angelo keto was a filipino american veteran who died bikes fix em after being knelt on the neck by antioch police. according to the lawsuit, can tell was forcibly restrained during what his family says was a mental health emergency back in december of 2020. >> it's 7.35, and the sand

with a city council unanimously approved a resolution to regulate smoke and vape shops in the city. this resolution would require a conditional use permit to operate a vape and smoke shop. it introduced into the city they're hoping that the to curb illegal activity such as cannabis and magic mushroom sales that are happening inside the stores. and this is in response to an increased concern, particularly about young people getting a hold of these products. there has been a growing number of smoke and vape shops in the city of san jose. >> there's >> one shoppers reactions. san francisco about the closure of a high-end jewelry store. sure, even company, they have a whole building and store san francisco and they're going to be moving now those headquarters to palo alto. and with news of this real estate experts say that other businesses are already waiting to take that spot in union square.

>> we're actually in advanced negotiations with the local tenant to take the entire ground floor and potentially the mezzanine as well for a very special concept. >> the store, a sharif is going to be having a big sale starting friday with discounts and jewelry and watches of up to 60% off. american eagle outfitters is out of san francisco, closing their store in the san francisco center. this comes from a state filings on employment development website. we know that in september last year, american eagle sued westfield for breach of their lease agreement. and overall unsafe work conditions for employees. and that shortly after westfield announced he's leaving the mall. and since then, several other well-known retailers, including nordstrom lego and hollister, also decided to leave the san francisco center. american eagles last dating shop there at san francisco center's june. 12th.

>> in the east bay, a 22 year-old hayward man riding a scooter was killed in a fatal collision with a car. it happened near the intersection of mission boulevard and orchard avenue last wednesday when officials arrived, they found the scooter rider unresponsive suffered from injuries that he later succumbed to at the hospital. the driver was unharmed. police say drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been factors in this crash. but this is the city's 4th fatal collision this year. health workers and community groups are demanding san francisco do more to prevent overdose deaths. and that includes the argument that the problem is only made worse if drug users face the risk of incarceration instead of treatment, trump horse. catherine heenan has the story. >> members of the group carried signs that said things like care, not cages in dealing with addicts. they argue against what they call car several measures and other words, jail or prison time in 2023. >> we saw a crackdown on drug

users. the sheriffs were activated to arrest. people use drugs in the heart of our city. 60% of those arrests involved. people of >> see the ways that disrupts people's lives and actually contributes to overdose deaths. >> district attorney brooke jenkins sees the problem in a very different light. i think the fact that we have enabled drug use that we have condoned it and we've allowed it is what has caused this problem to everyone that i talked to who is in recovery right now, it has been successful, said that it was the criminal justice system that really propelled to decide that treatment was what they needed for themselves. they had to be forced in a way to make that choice for what was best for them. and so that's all that we're trying to do is to make sure that we protect the most vulnerable from drug dealers, but also use this system to try to to to influence people to choose a better life for

themselves. coalition members argue that crackdown measures only lead to more overdoses. >> they say san francisco needs to spend more money on prevention, treatment and community care facilities and say treatment should be available on demand. no waiting. >> we put so many barriers in people's way from meeting to have id from meeting to show up at a certain place at a certain time of day. >> wait, lance. but among those agreeing that tougher measures are critical supervisor matt dorsey, who has overcome his own drug problems, he says with progress being made to reduce street level drug scenes advocating to turn san francisco streets into arrest free for all of public drug use is a lunatic fringe and are key, not sound public health strategy. we have an obligation. >> as a body of government to intervene and help people again choose to a life worth

living. catherine heenan kron. 4 news. >> well, a controversial plan from san francisco city leaders to give free alcohol to homeless people suffering from alcoholism is getting some pushback. the city-run initiative is called the managed alcohol program or map for short. and it's been around for about 4 years. it cost the city roughly 20 million dollars in total supporters say the goal isn't to eliminate alcohol use, but rather the keep individuals at a quote, safe level of intoxication with the goal of increasing their safety and overall quality of life. but critics say this is only making the problem worse and the city should instead be focusing on helping these people beat their addiction. >> where's the medical supervision for when someone does hit that tipping point? if we were treating politics as attics, then we would find a substitute to that is don addicted. that would help their brain and a comparable way.

>> 7.44 is the time and rafting companies will be running on the truckee river near tahoe city this season. and that's noteworthy because last year they were unable to do that. the water flowing out of the tahoe damning to the truckee river is regulated by the federal government flows have been to to allow for rafting, even with all the snow we had last season, the flow from the dam never really met the criteria. >> we had tons of snow. and because of that, the runoff was really heavy. so because so much runoff with hitting reno, they weren't letting any water out of the lake up here. just minimum flow, which isn't rest or aft. >> yeah. but this season, lake tahoe's nearly full for the first time since 2019 and water regulators have already notified rafting companies that they can run in july and august truckee river raft company in truckee river rafting are both taking reservations right now for those 2 months. and there is hope the season could actually started june. if federal

it's pretty typical weather for this time of year. warm inland, foggy in cooler towards the coast. today's marine layer is a little less deep than yesterday. that means that burns off quicker and we are going to see daytime highs a little bit warmer. daytime highs in san francisco rising into the 60's towards the coastline. also some low 60's. where is the bayshore pretty solidly in the 70's today and for a couple of us, redwood city and mountain, even close to 80 degrees. south bay temps in the low 80's for the most part. and even a couple of the mid 80's in some spots like dublin up to 85 oakland, you'll be at 70 while berkeley and richmond in upper 60's vacaville. our warmest spot on the map today near 90 degrees. today is ever so slightly. the warmest day of the forecast after today. we very subtly cool down enough to bring our averages inland back into the upper 70's bayshore cities out of the mid 70's and back into the low 70's by friday rain. all right, john, thank you for that west grand avenue off ramp is still closed.

good time to hop onto a year, even 82 to bypass all those delays starting. james, back to you. thanks. a lot rain at 07:40am, the 5 year-old boy who drowned behind home on bethel island has been identified. >> lucas zang was his name. he was from livermore and he was found in the water about 40 minutes after he was reported missing. a neighbor says that the boy was visiting family to cows in complex near the water when he fell off of the dock behind the home. we don't have any other details about this, but they are still investigating. a man suspected of shooting and killing 2 women in san jose, san lorenzo at their home earlier in the month has been arrested in. >> kansas is being extradited. now back to california to face charges. the alameda county da's office is charging howard reed with 2 counts of murder. investigators found the 2 women dead in their home on dermody avenue on may. 4th.

and it turns out that the suspect reid had been living with the women. he is being brought back to california. in the north bay. one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after this big crash that happened in napa. this is on wooden valley road and monticello road early yesterday morning from the looks of this. wow. i mean, the impacts and one of the cars into a tree is just amazing. it was just minor injuries. >> concord man who struck and killed an 86 year-old man while driving under the influence has now been sentenced. police say the damian lopez was intoxicated when he crashed into 2 cars last thanksgiving. the first incident happened to treat boulevard and oak grove road. police were responding to that crash when they later found out that there was a second crash near oak grove in ryan's road. you see them both here on the map. it's that second location where the 86 year-old passenger of another car identified as thomas o'connell died. mcconnell was taken to

the hospital. but again, he did make it. lopez pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. he was sentenced to 12 years in prison. governor newsom. >> take a look. touring a facility in redwood city and soon it's going to expand a house people who have behavioral health challenges. the governor says the plans are in place for similar facilities to be put up as well because voters narrowly passed proposition one and the governor is promising 6.4 billion dollars in bond money to allocate towards the treatment facilities and 11,000 plus behavioral health beds. >> we need to do better and do more. and we need to all held to a higher level of accountability. i've never been more enthusiastic about our prospects to actually make a dent in address the issue of what happened on the streets and sidewalks in the state that i am today. these next 2 to 3 years will be transformation. >> critics have argued that prop one is just going to throw more money at the problem. take a look at the

new sign that up in a south bay water park. it's long been known as raging waters but now and says callie bunga. the raging waters had been there for 40 years. lot of kids enjoyed that over the summers. but they said last summer that they were going to be closing, not ruling renewing their lease and then last february, san jose city leaders really quickly reached a deal. a new lease with a new management company for that water park. we don't have an opening. get a date, but that the new sign is up there. so hopefully look for that. maybe this summer when it's hot out. >> here's something else look forward to the largest butterfly festival on the west coast is coming to layout. the inaugural bay area butterfly and pollinator festival is taking place this coming sunday may 19th. it will be from 10 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon at the mare island prom. a dog on nimitz avenue. there's going to be beer garden main stage with some live music. the children
