approached him and demanded his postal keys and personal belongings the postal worker turned over the keys but refused to give up his personal items. police then say a fistfight ensued. the thieves, not the victim to the ground, injuring him. police say that the 2 robbers took off in an older model. nissan altima. anybody with information being asked to contact police after more than 20 years in business, oakland's lake shore cafe has announced it's closing down for good in one week. >> memorial day will be the last day for the popular breakfast and lunch spot near lake merritt. the owners didn't say why they were closing the cafe, but they did say a new restaurant will be opening in its place. the group working to build a new city in solano county says that they can provide more than 15,000 jobs in the next decade. california forever says that they can bring employers from several different sectors for everyone ranging from construction companies to a i they released

far, california still have about 2 years to activate and use the remaining funds. new program here in california is using gift cards to fight drug addiction. this state is spending more than 60 million dollars in this battle. and officials say it's working. >> in the coming fiscal year, california is expected to allocate 61 million dollars to the program focusing on addictions to drugs such as meth and cocaine. here's how it works to start out. patients must show up to their designated clinic twice a week to provide a urine sample if they're clean, they receive a small stipend on a gift card that increases as they continue. and if they fail, there are no consequences. rather, they're encouraged to show up and start again. >> it starts off a $10. the end of the first rung weeks. they might be making $20 if it goes up like a dollar and a half, every to so does increase. and that's another important part is that we're

atmosphere not able to mix out some of those pollutants in our atmosphere, too other. right now, we do have some patchy fog developing along the coastline least south and the monterey bay. but you see more of a strong northerly wind kicking in. and that's what we've seen today. going to see it again, i think for tomorrow. so not much in the way of fog forced tomorrow, except late today. maybe some patchy fog developing right along the coastline. here's the fog forecast overnight tonight. we're going to keep things mostly clear. so even along the coast should be able to get out there and check out the starlight, maybe just a hint of fog along the coastline early tomorrow morning as we head toward the middle of a really looks like a beautiful day to get out there and enjoy your lunch. if you'd like to do that at noon time by the afternoon. we may just see couple patches of fog begin to move back in along the coastline. so all that being said, we've got some nice weather ahead. tomorrow are probably gonna watch the peak of the temperatures tomorrow. the mid 80's, the warmer spots inland cooler along the coastline. 56 there, pleasant inside the bay. then the temperatures really start to cool down on wednesday and thursday. much cooler this weekend. we'll have more on that coming up and a few minutes. i lawrence red lobster has officially filed

for bankruptcy. >> the chain already closed several locations across the nation, including 2 right here in the bay area and rohnert park in fremont. the restaurant posted operating loss of more than 11 million dollars during their endless shrimp deal last year in a court filing or red lobster says it is going to use the bankruptcy to pursue a buyer for the chain. the company still has more than 700 locations across the globe. plans to introduce wolverines back into california hit a major snag at the state capitol. >> the animals disappeared from california more than a century ago. a result of trapping and hunting the bill proposed a study church to determine what it would take to bring the animals back to california's mountains. the state assembly appropriations committee struck down the bill citing the state's budget deficit. similar effort to reintroduce will reigns in colorado is underway in that state. all right. take a look at this. coast guard crew spots a pod of orca is on the

>> and now kron 4 sports. >> when brandon jet ski got drafted almost a year ago. you could just sense the quiet confidence that he had himself in. it was on full display all season long. he didn't start the year off in the rotation, but you heard the stories behind the scenes super competitive getting on draymond green. one of the most respected voices in the organization over a turnover in a pickup game. eventually he for steve kerr is hand him. he became a mainstay in the rotation, even starting for a large portion of it. and today the nba honored brandon for his efforts, naming him to the all-rookie team. today he spoke about the honor finding his voice as a young player amongst the vets. i think my. >> my leadership role within the team you know, the rookie.

certainly the boy, you know, we're going to see nice weather head, i think for the next day or so that we're going to really watch the temperatures. >> begin to tumble late in the weekend next weekend. much cooler than normal with out the door right now. beautiful shot. as we look toward the golden gate bridge on a nice monday evening outside the seabreeze as we turn just a bit. but the offshore winds going to kick in overnight tonight. that's going to keep your skies mostly clear if we see a patch to a fog, it's only going to be along the coastline tomorrow. likely be the warmest day of the week. now we're going to start to cool things down with much cooler weather as we head toward friday and the weekend. temperatures tomorrow going to be beautiful in downtown san francisco about 67 degrees 70 in the mission along the coastline certainly will be a little bit cool. and you may see a couple patches of fog move in late today, 50's 60's out toward the beaches inside the bay. what a glorious day. it's going to be 67 degrees and sunny and bright in millbrae. how about 75 in foster city? 77 in redwood city and 77 in mountain view. the south bay filled up with 80's by tomorrow afternoon, sunny, all day long. no fog to speak of their same with the
