3:31 pm
we do have the longest ski season in lake tahoe. i think it comes down to not only the elevation of our mountain, which is above 8,000 feet on our upper mountain peaks. martin's here, we come together to free the longest season. it definitely comes with a lot of hard work making sure using our grooming machines and snow cats to move snow from places where it's maybe less coverage to places that need work coverage, where we're able to use our technology are hard working keep this not going. and we have the passion for it. so it's pretty reliable that houses tahoe continues to have the longest season in lake tahoe. all right. so memorial day may 27th slopes are going to be open from 08:00am until 02:00pm for skiing, writing weather conditions permitting. so still kind of focus a little on winter. but what's happening when season stops like what fun summer stuffed you guys have planned. the palace really a year-round we definitely bike rentals from
3:32 pm
this area. we are kind of a hub of lake tahoe. we've still got the shopping, the restaurants, we weekly events such as blues days. it's awesome. live. bluegrass music in the village at palisades tahoe on tuesdays. this plants here around. we're going to have a lake tahoe reggae festival here in there's just been weekly events. there's always something going on the village. we have it on our website on instagram the app anywhere you want to we always have things going on. so after memorial day weekend, we we will be shifting to the summer but it's it's always a great place to hike in. the wildfires are going to bloom in in a couple weeks. so it's going to be fantastic. mean, i kind of think tahoe in the summers like a little underrated like people kind of just think like skiing and snow bike the lakers. gorgeous little cold, the beautiful and like biking around there. do you have skies have good like biking trails and can you rent bikes from where like at the main village? >> you by state the bill to pass probably don't have mountain bike offerings here

3:35 pm
we had those delays. as i mentioned earlier today, west coast looking good. san francisco is that slight delay. but that is a construction issue. not so much that they're having issues in any other way. and if you are staying here for the weekend, i am. well, we are going to be dealing with some cooler temperatures as we get to friday and saturday and they're going to want to back up on sunday. should be really nice day and monday on the other side of that, of course, is going to be a sunny day, a little bit warmer still. so not a bad looking forecast as we go through the next few days. if you're going to be headed down to southern california, they're going to have a little bit more of a cloudy profile as we get into saturday. you can see temperatures that bad here about 70 degrees and sunday, looking out for a little fog may be getting that the mornings when they get a little bit more of cloud cover than we've been getting. that marine layer is not giving them quite the break that we've gotten but still should be a pretty nice weekend down there as well. wherever your headed back to you. thank the east bay now or a father jumped into action to save a little girl from a burning car. >> and this was right before it went up in flames on highway 4 in antioch kron. 4
