thorn. well, police say right before 6 o'clock tonight, a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on highway one. the accident was that are on road in san mateo county. >> and volunteer fortunately, the most us did not survive. we sent out and sealer advised people traffic. currently army >> investigators with the san mateo county sheriff's office say to expect delays and avoid this area. they're hoping to reopen all lanes at right about now. and we're going to let you know. >> when all of that sanibel police say possibly multiple suspects are on the loose after a shootout outside a bochy ball tournament today. one person was shot and taken to the hospital. and this all went down shortly after 4 o'clock in the afternoon where people were at a bochy ball tournament and they say they feared for their lives. from project moment is live tonight

in sandra fell with the latest jack. >> yes, and that's right. sandra fell. police are asking for anybody who witnessed the shootings to please come forward and tell police what they know about what took place earlier this afternoon. they say that also happened in 2 separate locations. those reports of the shootings and then it also happened in front of dozens of people. >> workers at marion bochy tell us at least 6 cars were damaged after 2 cars sped down the street saturday afternoon, setting off a crash scene here. many of these cars belonging to tournament players. but former and bochy executive director jessica levy and what she saw next shook her to her 2 guys get out of one car and there's they started shooting at the other guys. you know, everybody was shaken up. she says the people shooting at each other. all young men. >> and one was shot in the abdomen. she says everybody scattered. yeah, that that the sound of the terror of

caltrans, the backup happening near bolinger canyon road. chp was called in to try and help get that man into custody. sentiments police chief says once the announcement began through the armored rescue vehicle loudspeaker, the man got out of his car and was later taken into custody by chp. the lanes reopened just before 7 o'clock tonight. but there was, of course, still a little bit of a backup and some residual delays. highway. 92 back open tonight after a two-car crash snarled traffic today. the collision happened just outside of half moon bay near digs canyon road. at one point, all lanes of the highway were closed while emergency crews were out there on scene. chp says that one person had to be taken to the hospital. the cause of the crash still under investigation tonight. all right. we're taking a live look outside right now at san francisco international airport. so far, 200 delays at the airport. lot of people taking to the skies will have a little bit more on the numbers coming up later on. but right now, let's get a look at the forecast with kron four's gayle ong, a gale.

>> hello, dan, a last check that was due to runway construction and they're operating on a one at the moment for months now. >> well, back here are whether we are pretty mild, but we have those clouds coming in for the evening and that should stick around in the morning and then we should be clearing out. >> for the afternoon. so tomorrow looks to be warmer than today. in the last couple of days. we've had temperatures are sitting in the low 50's here. 56 degrees in san jose. low 50's over in half moon bay and santa rosa close to the overnight low. so still quite mild, but chilly with the sea breeze here, 10 miles per hour here in san francisco. 16 in fairfield with that delta breeze picking up the 14 in concord. so pretty breezy afternoon, you know, through around the coast and those gaps there. so you can see the clouds starting to make its way. it's going to be making its way onshore overnight. and you cak even see it here at the golden gate bridge. so looking ahead at the rest of your holiday weekend, we will that warming

up inland. we could upper 80's. upper 70's close to low 80's and then the bay will remain in the upper 60's. low 70's, the coast looks like we'll be still cool in the 50's. back to you. >> gail, thanks a lot. police on the peninsula are investigating after a man was shot to death your park in belmont. police say the 27 year-old victim was killed around 8 o'clock last night, investigators responded to the area near or when hiller streets. that's just off of 101, near o'donnell park. the victim was shot multiple times and despite life saving efforts, he died at the scene and we heard from one person actually witnessed all of the police activity there. skating chalking >> how have you know, we've got a family. i have do kids. i have a son and a daughter and to the mostly be in you know, evening in the night. but the walks park, you're going to look a so it is getting to, you come to know that the day has been on >> des moines police are asking anyone with any information or who may have home security cameras in the

area to give them a call. a 13 year-old is accused of kicking a woman in the head during an attempted robbery. daly city police say this happened last saturday near sure where an street in glasgow avenue. investigators say the teen was a part of a group of 4 who attacked this woman once she fell to the ground. we're told she was kicked several times, including in the head. police say the group was trying to steal the woman's grocery bag before hopping on a bus. the witness was able to help police identified the 13 year-old that teen was then booked into the youth services center for attempted robbery and battery. >> i somebody would erase open-ended and that it needed that it said 40's and i read >> oakland's former police chief leronne armstrong kicking off his campaign today for city council. this is at mcclymonds high school. he was joined by a lineup of community leaders, including councilmember noel gallo. he

is right now vying for rebecca kaplan seat and filed the initial paperwork with the city office last week. armstrong is facing 8 other candidates for kaplan seat. he says that he believes his experience as police chief qualifies him for the job. armstrong is right now. diving into politics at a time where he is suing the city of oakland for wrongful termination. events across the bay area honoring our country's fallen men and women. this memorial day weekend in san francisco scouts in veterans gathered at ational en gate cemetery to place the american flags at the graves of fallen soldiers. the cemetery is the final resting place of 15 medal of honor recipients. this is a service project that started back in 1949. but the greater st. louis council that decorated 190,000 graves at jefferson barracks, national cemetery. in every sense it has become one of the largest service projects in the country. >> chance to do seen the flags

some new details now after a standoff shut down the southbound lanes of 6.80, following a barricaded driver who they say had a weapon in their car. >> traffic was at a total standstill this afternoon. the san ramon police department for sent out a warning for a barricaded unarmed person around 6 o'clock this evening on 6.80, near san ramon valley boulevard. and we're told the person who barricaded themselves inside the car had been involved in a car and a crash with another car. you can see in these pictures here from the caltrans cameras that there was a backup near bolinger canyon road. chp was called in to get this person into custody. we later discovered that he did not

have a gun. san ramon police chief says they brought out a big armored vehicle called out for him through a loudspeaker. that man then got out. chp arrested him. the lanes reopened around 7 o'clock tonight. but of course, there's still a lot of traffic in that area. san jose man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for forcing his partner into trafficking. monterey county prosecutors say courtney davenport beat his girlfriend and forced to engage in acts for his financial gain. salinas police say they were tipped off when the victim called them in february of last year. the victim telling police her boyfriend davenport struck her in the eye because she refused to do what she was told. it was later learned that this happened several times. davenport was eventually arrested and convicted of human trafficking and domestic violence along with his prison sentence. davenport will also have to register as a offender. san francisco fire

crews work to put out flames at a house on carll street this morning. the flames taking over the 2 storey complex just after 9. they say the damage, this place to tourists. the department is right now working with the travel company to find those people. 7 new accommodations, no injuries were reported. sandra fell in marine wood fire department appointing abraham roman as their new fire chief. the city announced his position on thursday. roman was the deputy fire chief and has nearly 40 years of experience in the fire service. spent 24 of those years with the berkeley fire department. well, if you're planning on camping out this morial day weekend, a reminder from the tahoe bear league. the bears live camping season as much as we do. they say tahoe bears. wait for new, be campers to pull in and unload all their food they will raid if campers don't put the food away and they go, you know, exploring. there's a reminder

saturday and then things start to mix out and it looks like we have mostly clear skies. but it may be some cloudy skies over by the coast, which is what we have been see and it will come back in the evening. overnight. lows will be in the 40's and low 50's here. so 46 in nevada. 48 in half moon bay low 50's over in san jose. 46 in santa rosa warming up to the 70's and we could see some 80's, maybe an antioch concord. you're flirting with 80's and 77 over in santa rosa. 73 expected in napa. so if you're going to bottle rock, a nice, warm day up, very comfortable. temperatures for you and 59 degrees for you in san francisco for going to do that after activities. all right. the city for the memorial day weekend holiday. so here is your 7 day outlook. we will be a temperatures should rebound inland. you can see upper 70's sunday monday. so you could see some 80's. i wouldn't be surprised we saw that abe look seasonably cool in the upper 60's and 70's for the next couple of days. the coast, though, will remain in the 50's and 60's. but

temperatures will be warming up. so maybe next weekend, as you can see friday, thursday, friday and saturday. we see 80's inland once again in the 70's still low over by the 50's in the around the bay. >> not a bad looking weekend overall. yeah, i got outside. that are yeah. nice, comfortable weather all right, kim, thank you for alright. millions of americans get ready to hit the road for summer vacations in the biden administration says. >> it's taking measures to lower the price of gas. according to aaa, the national average is about $3.60, of course, here in california. it's more than $5 a gallon between memorial day and 4th of july. 1 million barrels of gasoline will be sold from the northeast. gasoline supply reserve to try and lower those prices. some democrats are blaming big oil companies for the high prices. >> instead of working to lower gas prices for americans ahead of the busy memorial day

including that one that you just heard from mary poppins. he won 2 oscars for his work on the film. they also penned songs for the jungle book and it's a small world. sherman is survived by his wife of 66 years. there's a price war brewing at 2 major retail chains target cutting prices on about 5,000 items that are regularly purchased and has plans to potentially cut more target. and walmart competing for shoppers who are looking to save after inflation pushed up the price of food, housing and other essentials. target officials say the retail stores already cut the prices of about 1500 items heading into the memorial day holiday weekend. fiji water recalling nearly 2 million bottles because of contamination with maggie some bacteria. the affected bottles were distributed in washington state and sold nationwide online. customers are being advised to not drink the water and return it for a refund.

89,000 californians last memorial day weekend to want to do got to avoid being stopped at the side of the road just preventative maintenance. >> and 4 were driving on memorial day. prime traffic time on the roads are expected between 03:00pm and 07:00pm. next. a chp officers are out patrolling california's highways. they're looking for unsafe drivers over this weekend. according to chp, 46 people died in crashes and more than 1100 drivers were arrested for duis across the state last year during the memorial day holiday that maximum enforcement period it's going remain in place until midnight tuesday. the city of san jose is hoping to crack down on speeding by late next year. the city is looking to install more than 30 speed cameras on the streets. where those cameras are going to be places still being worked out right now. city leaders say, though the goal is to make sure that they're evenly installed among all communities. we're told the cameras will only be used to enforce the speed limit for

the first 60 days. the program speeding drivers will get a warning in the mail. then after that, fine will be sent to you. low-income drivers will have the option to do community service instead of paying that ticket. but it's also going to be pretty busy if you're flying this weekend. tsa agents set a record for most travelers screened in a single day on friday. now the israeli mlion people made their way through air point airport checkpoints across the country. previous record was set last year 3 days after thanksgiving. also important to have some water safety tips. if you're going to be out on the water authority say before you dive in, always wear a life vest and don't forget to hydrate and swim in pairs. you can look out for each other and keep an eye on your little ones. know your limits. don't push yourself beyond what you're comfortable with. families are visiting the parks for the holiday weekend. east bay park officials are warning about coyote ease. if you run into one while you're hiking or walking out there, you should

places, especially by the coast. but overall, nice mild temperatures. and here's that future cast model. you could see clouds building here by half moon bay livermore, hayward fremont oakland, and then the sunday morning things start to mix out here. so you can see mostly sunny skies here, which is partly cloudy skies over by half moon bay. and then you can see and the clouds and the fog rolling in and the evening once again, you'll be waking up to the mid to upper 40's in santa rosa nevado 50 degrees for you in san francisco. 48 in half moon bay. 49 in livermore. 52 in san jose. so some mild overnight lows that should be a bit breezy overnight as well. so that might cool things down. but it looks like the winds are coming down and the morning daytime highs will be in the 70's. you could see some 80's in places like concord, livermore, antioch, and 73 in napa stuff. you're going to battle walks. a very nice weather for you. sunny skies there. 59 little cooler over by san francisco in half

on congress to support the bill. grayson to time. pga tour winner has died at the age of 30. the exact cause of his death has not been confirmed, but he withdrew from the charles schwab challenge on friday, citing an illness. the pga tour consulted his parents when they learned of his death who are adamant that this weekend's tournament should go on saying it's quote, but grayson would want us to do. earlier this year. murray won the sony open, ending a six-year when round. in the east bay freemont police arrest. 4 people accused of running a counterfeit money scheme. officers reported to a store on warm springs boulevard may 14th after the manager says people paid with fake money twice in one day, police identified the suspects in the store's surveillance video and they believe that that same group of people paid with counterfeit bills and other nearby stores. last week police found the man and the man and a woman behind the scheme parked in front of a
