will apply only to domestic violence incidents that take place after it signed into law. it next heads to the assembly appropriations committee reporting at the state capitol. a tonn wallace kron. 4 >> plus, no. police say they have arrested 3 people in connection to the killing of a custodian. investigators revealing a love triangle is the motive. the stabbing happened back in february in the parking lot of pleasant hill park. police say 37 year-old santiago to cobo was found on the ground after his wife said that he did not come home after his shift working at the park. investigators say they learned cobo had been in a relationship with one of the suspects while another suspect was pursuing a new relationship with that woman. police saying to cobo and all 3 knew each other and that the suspects planned and coordinated the attack. >> san francisco police have released bodycam footage today in connection to a police shooting in the bayview neighborhood. >> watch a draft of the crossbow profit.

>> last week officers got a report of someone with a rifle near jennings street and caroll avenue. when police arrived, they found the suspect with a loaded crossbow. one officer fired their gun. the suspect was not shot, but he was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. just in time for summer. bicyclists are going to have 22 new bike turnouts at mount diablo state park. it's all a part of a road safety enhancement drivers and bicyclists can safely travel uphill together. construction on those turn out to begin next week closures will be placed on southgate road summit road and north gate road until the project is complete. former president trump is wasting no time trying to control the fallout here this morning. he gave a fiery speech where he attacked the judge witnesses and the guilty verdict in his hush money trial, washington, d.c., correspondent hannah brandt reports. >> it was a rigged trial in an

angry tirade at trump tower. former president donald trump repeated his claims of innocence just hours after a new york jury found him guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records to hide a hush money payment. everything involved with standard. there was no crime both supporters and opponents rallied at trump tower after the historic verdict and from the white house. president biden also reacted to the decision. the american presence of all. >> but no one is above the law. >> was rear from he called out his political opponent for attacking the justice system reckless. it's dangerous. it's irresponsible for anyone to say this was read just because they don't like the verdict. the trial lasted over a month that included hours of testimony and dozens of witnesses and documents. and it took the jury just 2 days of deliberation to reach their decision. it was a little quick that they actually do their homework they ask for the replay the testimony. georgetown law professor victoria nurse gives the jurors credit in the end, they came to a unanimous verdict.

pius looking across the bay and we see some hazy conditions and some clouds are heading in our direction overnight. tonight, i'm forecasting mostly clear skies. the sun sets at 8.26. and temperatures tomorrow morning primarily in the 50's. it will become a warm overnight. 52 degrees in half moon bay winds. they're moving down the coastline. 21 degrees and point rays going right through the golden gate at 21. also miles per hour. so we're looking fog coming in courtesy of those winds. you see that fog around half moon bay and a daly city as we head into the overnight hours. it also moves into oakland and hayward and even into livermore only to pull back toward the coastline. lingering right at the coast throughout the day tomorrow. so we'll see little patches of fog, especially south of the golden gate. so temperatures will be much cooler. look at this. the forecast looking for mild seasonable temperatures for

saturday, sunday and monday, even in the 70's in the warmest inland spots, maybe a few 80's. but then there's tuesday and wednesday and looking into thursday, also with very warm conditions. you can enjoy your weekend. no, you're going to definitely need your a c in some of the warmest inland spots. by the time we get to wednesday of next week, dry conditions. >> all thanks a lot. walnut creek kicked off pride month a day early by raising a pride fat flag outside of city hall today. tomorrow the city is going to be holding 2 events, including a drag queen story hour. similar events have been held in other bay area cities and drawn protesters in the past. but as kron four's philippe djegal reports, city officials expect this to be a positive crowd. >> for the second time in 2 years, the city of walnut creek will host drag queen story time. plus crafts. last year's inaugural event was held at the lecture center for the arts and kevin's. a fiend says it was a big hit. kids

>> yeah, there and i mean, the excitement is through the roof here at oracle park. i guess there is no roof, but it's a lot of buzz for this matchup. and, you know, one of the big storylines, obviously, aaron judge is in northern california native tonight will be playing his first ever game in this ballpark will be the 34th mlb park that he's played you know, he almost ended up as a giant a couple of offseasons ago. it didn't end up happening and he stuck with the yankees. and so the big question sort of on everyone's mind right now is what's the reception going to be like? you got a lot of yankee fans here. a lot of giants fans, his family will be here. is it going to be cheers? is it going to be even yankees manager aaron boone didn't really know. take a listen. >> his family still here and so he's excited to play here that we're here 19. was hurt. so i know he's excited that i would imagine look most superstars. there's a level of

he's coming back with a vengeance. yeah, we've had a few days without too much fog at the coastline. and course, will change changing as we speak. so we're in for a much cooler weekend than we've had last couple days. quite warm today. little cooler than yesterday. >> tomorrow into sunday into monday, even cooler yet at the airport. so far, hazy skies but not foggy. that could change temperatures right now. 50's along the coastline, as you might expect with all that fog but still warm in morgan hill at 73 dublin at 81 degrees. and in point raise only 58 contrast that with a 75 for sonoma. so the temperatures are all over the place. triple 88 88 in fairfield, concord and pittsburgh at this hour. we've got the winds coming down the coastline and going right into the golden gate and that will certainly help increase the fog overnight. high temperatures then for tomorrow, cooler than today. 50's and 60's from san francisco already down our coastline. 55 degrees in

montara and 58 degrees in south san francisco. 68 redwood city as you start of the 6 ahead southward. you do see temperatures warm up but nothing like today. 5th. 75 degrees in san jose. okay. some of the warm spots are in the 80's but not that many of them. it's dublin at 82 tomorrow afternoon, brentwood, 82. and then there's vacaville holding out for 88 degrees. so you see if you really want the warm temperatures, you know where to go. how about santa rosa at 85 degrees. point rays on the other hand is at 60 for the next 5 days. next 7 days. we're looking at very beautiful conditions. seasonable batch. what would you expect this time of year for the first day of june? can you believe it? saturday, sunday, monday and temperatures pop up on tuesday, especially on wednesday. that is the hottest day inland and mild along the coast and a okay across bay shoreline. >> cathy, thanks a lot. the woman who became known as the country's first grandmother

has passed away. obamas share in a statement, former first lady michelle obama's mother, marian robinson died this morning. she was 86 years old. robinson was a fixture in the white house during barack obama's 8 years as president, she moved into the move to washington, d.c., from chicago to take care of her granddaughters who are 7 and 10 years old at the time. in a statement the obama said, quote, there was and only will be one marian robinson. and in our sadness, we are lifting up by the extraordinary gift of her life and we will spend the rest of our lives trying to live up to her

>> new at 6, the popular sundance film festival will not be coming to san francisco anytime soon. the san francisco film commission announced last month it had submitted a bid to become the new host city for sundance. the film commission's executive director shared in an email today. the city did not advance in the selection process. sundance is typically held every february in park city, utah, just about an hour outside salt lake. it is currently looking for a new home after 2026. so won't be san francisco up to see where they get hosted. tonight. the city of oakland skates its way into summer and you can to rapper and philanthropist mistah fab is hosting the dope heiress kate party tonight. food vendors live music performances and rollerskating will be taking over the henry j kaiser convention center.
