their resources to get this fire under control. one firefighter told me they used water from a pool to make sure that none of the flames touched a nearby home. someone who lives nearby says that they are just grateful this wasn't worse. >>and down the road and fire across from my shawn moore lives on crystal springs road within a mile of where a fire sparked wednesday afternoon in napa county. the fire quickly grew to 60 acres. cal fire issued evacuation warning, meaning it was optional to evacuate. but morris says she was not going to take any chances. i think left. with the help from several agencies in sonoma and napa counties. cal fire gain control over the fire quickly with air attacks dropping water and fire retardant and those aerial resources are really invaluable to us because they help. >>to keep. >>fire at a smaller size and talent resources on the ground can really get into that. and

bit cooling, even 9 degrees cooler than yesterday in half moon bay, 9 degrees cooler in nevada. and then napa down 6 degrees. high temperatures tomorrow warm in the east bay, but not as warm as they were today. 86 for concord, 77 in napa. 86 santa rosa along the coastline. we keep things in the 50's and 60's and for the next 7 days, we are looking at a cooling trend, at least through friday, saturday and sunday. and whoops, there goes the temperature again starting to head northward, getting warmer as we head into monday and tuesday and still a bit above normal. even wednesday. >>fire crews continue to make progress in the corral fire. it's down. 96% contained since saturday. the fire has burned more than 14,000 acres in san joaquin county. cal fire's hoping for full containment at some point this week. flames have been burning very close to a winery, still bouncing

damaged and 13 people were taken into custody after protesters unlawfully entered one of the buildings. wednesday morning. protesters upset about the conflict in gaza between hamas and israel entered an administrative building on the stanford campus and occupied the office of the university's president. they were inside the building for about 3 hours before campus. police in santa clara county sheriff's deputies clear them out, according to the university, 13 people were arrested and one public safety officer was injured after being shot. the university says the protesters unlawfully entered the building and that there is extensive damage to the inside and damage to the exteriors of nearby buildings, profane graffiti was still visible wednesday afternoon, although crews we're already starting to clean it up in a statement to kron 4 stanford said we have consistently emphasized the need for constructive engagement and peaceful protest. when there's a disagreement and views this was not peaceful protest and actions such as what occurred this morning have no place at stanford university says that
