next in and out fix, there are other locations all across the bay area according to some signs outside here. you just have to travel about five miles in either direction of this oakland location in oakland. i'm bailey o'carroll, ktvu, fox two news. >> all right. thank you. bailey investigators are calling ac grass fire in a historic area of brisbane an act of arson north county fire authority responded to an emergency call at 740 last night about a fire at the center court complex of the old southern pacific railroad roadhouse along industrial way. the fire only burned a quarter acre, but crews remained on sceneúfor more than two hours. anyone with information about the fire is asked to call north county fire now, even though it's in the same general area. authorities say last night's fire is not related to saturday's large warehouse fire that started at a 20,000 square foot building previously occupied by lazare fuel company. now this is video from citizen app. fire crews say the cause is

oakland says she was attacked. obtained video of the woman woody's laundromat on park at boulevard near fifth avenue. now, police sayúthe two people were missing some of their personal items and asked the victim she was attacked when she refused. one person seen in the video was cited and released. a united express passenger at sfo says he experienced a lengthy delay due to a mechanical issue. the passenger told us 5496 fromn was scheduled to depart at 4 p.m. on friday, but was delayed 16 hours until to issues with tg system. the flight was delayed anúadditional two hours in the morning. the plane eventually landed in aspen, where it then sat on the tarmac for more than an hour before passengers could deplane. nowl in a statement,

jobs, but it's the trend. >> and what about the unemployment rate? >> california's unemployment rate of 5.3% is well above the national rate, which is 3.9. and above every other state now reached its highest level. in the post pandemic period, california showed strong averag0 new jobs every month. ñ> but job growth began slowing in 2023. now in february 2024, it crossed the red line, the first time our unemployment rate is now the highest in the nation. the bright spot there's only one sector, one sector in our state that's really continuing to show job growth, and that's the health care sector, though artificial spintelligence and genomic medicine hold out a lot of hope for the future, we'll have to settle for a kind of flattening in our unbridled growth of jobs.

old diamond cisco and her boyfriend were driving from fremont to hollister back in january of 2023. he told thet& authorities they took a safety figure from a neighborhood street and they were chased down by a black car on the interstate 880 near dixon landing road. the driver had a gun, took the boyfriend's car keys and that safety figure and drove away while they were stranded along the highway. cisco was hit and killed by another car. her family holds the driver of that black car responsible for her death. they tell the bay area news group cisco and her spboyfriend may have wanted in sideshows, but they don't understand why anybody wouldt& chase after them for something that costs about $30. well, oakland investigators are searching for clues in a deadly shooting at a gas station. it happened early saturday morning at the kwik save gas station at

poor quality or workmanship on their planes. the company has not named who will replace calhoun as ceo, but we will stay on top of the latest details of that story. the california fish and wildlife scientists will study the remains of a mountain splion that attacked and killeda 21 year old man in el dorado county, and ktvu is ali rassamt& is in the studio now with some new details about that attack and what we know this morning. >> ali. >> dave and pam. it is in 20 yeo brothers, ages 18 and 21, were hiking through a heavily wooded area of el dorado county this weekend. that's about 55 miles northeast of sacramento, near a town called georgetown in the sierra foothills. the brothers were collecting antlers that deer shed this time of year when around 1:00 saturday afternoon, the 18 year old man called 911 to report he and his brother had been attacked by a mountain lion. when deputies came to the area, they found the 18 year old seriously injured along with the

body of his 21 year old brother. >> i feel sorry for the familyt& and the brothers. the one guy lost his brother and you know, he'll probably have nightmares the rest of his life and scars they located a man down and next to that individual was a mountain lion in a crouched position in el dorado county. >> sheriff's deputies fired their weapons and scared the mountain lion off. then a professional trapper later caught the animal. it was euthanized and initial dna tests by the california department of fish and wildlife confirmed it was in fact the cat involved in that deadly attack. necropsy results show that the mountain lionúwas a 90 pound male who appeared to be in healthy condition. but forensic scientists will continue to study samples from the animal carcass. the 18 year old went through several surgeries this weekend to treat injuries to his face and body. the el dorado sheriff's el dorado county sheriff's department says he is expected to make a full recoverc

>> mountain lion attacks are rare, but can and do happen. the last time someone in california was killed by a mountain lion was 20 years ago in southern california. but this weekend, a northern california family is mourning the death of their 21 year old son killed by a mountain lion. it happened about 55 miles northeast of sacramento, near georgetown in the sierra the man in his 18 year old brother were hiking through aúheavily wooded area collecting deer antlers. around 1:00 saturday afternoon,o report he and hisúbrother had been attacked by a mountain lion. when deputies came to the area, they found the 18 year old seriously injured and the body of his 21 year old brother. the mountain lion, still crouched over it. deputies fired their weapon and scared the mountain lion off. the 21 year old was pronounced dead at the scene.c the 18 year old was seriously hurt but survived. >> he has undergone multiple surgeries throughout the night, however, with speaking with one of the family spokespersons, he
