today is the real question. most of the rest of the country will see just a partial eclipse. but either way, doctors say do not under any circumstances, look at the sun with your naked eyes, and that makes these special eclipse glasses a very hot commodity. and even using your phone to take a picture of the sun can damage the phone. so be very careful about this. unless you're in that one little 115 mile stretch of the country that experiences the total eclipse. back to you guys. >> all right, boy, that's good advice. keep protect your phone. thank you. doug luzader live in washington. well new this morning donald trump says states should make abortion policy. in a social media post, trump announced his position on abortion, saying states should be able to determine whatever policy they want. now, he did not outright say whether he supports stronger bans, such as florida's fifth 18 week abortion ban. he also said he supports the availability of fertility programs like ivf, after a court

6:14 am
expecting about 60% cloud cover at the time of the eclipse. and that is going to begin at 1:59 p.m. that's when the moon is going to start to cover the sun. and then we're going to have totality at 3:13 p.m. that's going to last for three minutes. and 49 seconds. that is when the moon will be fully covering the sun. that's when it should get pretty dark. here in cleveland. it's not going to be completely dark. i've heard heard it described as kind of it's going to look a little bit bluish, but it should be quite the sight to see. it will get dark no matter if there's clouds or not. but really, a lot of folks here crossing their fingers that there won't be as much cloud cover, or at least there will be a little hole in the clouds. now during the eclipse, there's going to be a very cleveland event going on the rock and roll hall of fame. they're going to be deejaying the eclipse, and at the time of totality, they're going to be playing none other than pink floyd's eclipse. a very fitting song for the occasion. we talked to the ceo
