change programs. they say those programs now in jeopardy due to california's planned budget cuts in response to a record deficit. the governor has already said those cuts will likely affect the funding of some of those programs. >> turned out to be a pretty warm day today. yesterday, not so right. yesterday was pretty cool. even a few sprinkles showing up to the tune of 100th of an inch in some places. and then today's highs. they came up a few degrees as much as five and ten degrees over yesterday's temperatures. tomorrow will be about the same or a tad warmer. and then as we go into tomorrow morning, you're going to notice the fog. you might be able to see it here. i can't, i'm not sure if you can see it well on your screen you're on, but that's a fog moving in across san francisco right now, and fog is going to be around the next couple of days. we've got a pretty ho hum pattern that's going to stick with us through the week. kind of not that dissimilar from last week. so when i say ho home, not much changes. the highs go from upper 70s to low 80s to upper 70s to low 80s, and we just ride that
10:51 pm
right into the bay area weekend. these are the highs from are the current temperatures which even at this hour are still 11 degrees warmer in concord than they were last night. ten degrees warmer in livermore. and then the winds, as you would expect. so tomorrow, your memorial day. i hope you have it off. i'm sure you do. i hope you do. and the weather looks good. except if the beaches, there'll be fog, as you would guess. and from that picture and the fog will be in many inland bay valleys early tomorrow morning. here we are taking a look at that. and you can see especially down towards the peninsula and across out towards concord. and then tomorrow evening fog kind of comes back. it looks like the north bay is getting a little break, doesn't it? so the fog might not be such an event there. and then tuesday morning a big push and then burn back. and then wednesday morning a semi big push and burn back. so that's this is the whole week right. so there's not a big no big changes. there's nothing there's week weather systems that glide by to the north. and that's what triggers the fog to push in and then triggers the fog to go away and then push back in. and so it's this is the
10:52 pm
cycle that we will have. it's the same cycle we had last week. and i believe the week before the forecast highs tomorrow about where they were today perhaps a little bit warmer in some places. but obviously you're going to be cooler at the coast in a place like pacifica or even san francisco with highs in the low 60s there. but you get inland, away from the water, you'll get upper 70s and low 80s for your memorial day, so the weather looks pretty good. and the five day forecast, we're rain free in this thing, but you can see the fluctuations. warmest day of the week is going to be thursday, friday of the week, the two days in the week. and then it kind of cools off again as we go into the bay area weekend. and when i say cool off, this is upper that upper tier numbers that represents the hot spots inland. so most of us are in that middle tier. the highest population. so 78 degrees 74 to 78 degrees all week. >> bill. thank you. the academy award winning composer who wrote the scores for the beloved disney films mary poppins and the jungle book, has died. richard sherman was also known for writing the song it's a small world, among many others.
