on the tracks as well. so lawmakers will be here this morning to host a press conference. they're calling on the legislature and governor gavin newsom to include funding for these projects in the budget. they say this project will address safety and congestion challenges, including a high number of crashes that happen here. they also say that first responders are often delayed because of the traffic congestion that ends up here. and then obviously, it seems like the lights are one of the big issues. so as i'm here this morning, i'll kind of be keeping an eye on that. but you can see even if you just, you know, come up here on this intersection, that that could be the biggest problem if you are stuck at a red light just like you could see. i think that gray car is it's right near the tracks. so if a train were to come by right now, those bars go down and it might be stuck there. so we'll be keeping an eye on that issue throughout the morning, and we'll bring you more on that press conference as well. live
