cost about $20 million each. this one here in burlingame would cost 70 million. now our crews have been out here multiple times to cover deadly crashes, you know, we have video, showing serious crashes here just in the last year and a half, two of them, also the family of a woman who died here in 2021 ended up suing caltrain. and the city of burlingame for not making this crossing safer. but lawmakers will be here this morning to host a press conference. they're calling on the legislature and governor newsom to include funding for these projects in the budget. they say these projects will address safety and congestion challenges. also, because there have been a high number of crashes here. they say first responders often get stuck here as well, and then they end up being late to calls. so that's another issue. they are hoping to fix that press conference is just about an hour from now, so we'll make sure to bring you all the new details from that as well. live in burlingame, amanda

vallejo and marin canyon, hiddenbrooke and up the napa valley all the way. that's a big surge there. now east, there's some breaks. you can see there's kind of interesting if you're on the 80 corridor, the parts of the 80 corridor, you'll get the sun, and then you get towards vallejo and the fog comes back in, but out to san ramon. and then big time, though, from the san mateo coast once again down towards santa clara valley, santa cruz and all the way down. look at that. all the way down to hollister. keep going steve, keep going, keep going. look at that. soledad. greenfield, king city bradley oh my gosh, that's a big fog bank. entertain myself sometimes 49 the water temp at point reyes city has gone from 51 to 52. still cold in half moon bay i think 5253. so the temps mainly in the 50s here for almost all locations here on shore, wind for many or breezy overcast really cuts down the breeze that will pick up later. but travis, what are you talking about? west of 33 concord. south almost to 30. so we're set for another cool day here. 30s. 40s in the mountains, mainly 50s,

60s everywhere else. a little bit of activity in the mountains yesterday, i think, with a west southwest breeze aloft that will push a lot of that off towards the east, so it won't be a factor today. we will get a little warm up on wednesday, especially thursday. it looks like, though may is ending on a cool note as we go into friday and certainly on saturday, june 1st. more fog 50 6070 on the temps a little warmer tomorrow. north wind could push a few near 90 on thursday in the valley or inland, but then back to nice on friday and cooler for june gloom on june 1st. >> all right steve, time now. 741 a group of marine wildlife advocates released a video to show you of a rare, endangered whale right off the coast of moran. now, on friday, the group was at point reyes. they saw the whale resting on the surface of the water. they think it was a north pacific right whale is estimated there are between 30 and 500 of these whales still alive. the north pacific right whale was almost wiped out by whaling back in the 1800s. today
