6:46 am
>> then jason smith can pursue every remedy available to him. >> that is what he is doing now. that was the chair jason smith and the oversight ranking member. hauser publicans announced they are sending criminal referrals to the justice department recommending hunter and james biden we charge of making false statements to congress related to the houses impeachment by the republicans against president biden the democrat say this is all just on ten we are back now with the panel. former prosecutor, this is a letter they are sending over to the doj, hunter biden and james bay provably false statements to oversight committee and judiciary, is it the oge -- doj going to do anything with this? >> they should! ucc ban on his way to prison and peter navarro sent to prison, these are charges that get treated very seriously by the doj when you're going after the right. i think the doj's duty is to treat these seriously. coming from the united states congress, there is testimony
6:47 am
given under oath no one is above the law, that was joe biden's own words right after this verdict came out of manhattan week and a half ago and the doj should absolutely investigate it and i happen to agree knowing the evidence that was presented i've agree that hunter and james biden lied under oath. for whatever reason, is the means justify the ends whatever you're going against president trump to be able to lock them up for the rest of his life or bankrupt him and his family are in some cases remove him from the ballot the left is talking about a tax -- attacks on democracy and this every thing we've had to witness and they haven't even stopped yet. they are still going. i think you're the doj has responsibly to take us to say this is a referral from the nine states congress with evidence to back it up. >> they might also be dealing with a contempt citation for the attorney general himself. the house oversight chair wants to someone over potentially moving forward with this he says the house oversight and judiciary, the committees issue
6:48 am
lawful subpoenas to them for the audio recordings of president biden's interview with the council but he continues to deny our subpoenas there must be things to not agree to the subpoenas. >> i am fatigued by all the referrals and investigations in the impeachment increase. i was fatigued when democrats are doing it against president trump this is a group of people in the congress in the last 41 years the only summit a budget on time for times. this is a group of people in congress hamas attacked israel october 7 that took them months to finally provide some funding for our neighbours and friends and allies their ends it didn't matter even in ukraine and i think the blame goes on both sides. i would agree with lee, if there was reason for the department i wouldn't believe they wouldn't take these referrals seriously and i hope they do and give us an answer. it's important to note that the issue they were held in contempt because they didn't show up.
6:49 am
but if indeed there was lies here and missed truths are not truths, i hope they go after them but i hope at some point they get back to doing their day jobs. democrats and republicans. if they are fortunate enough to again -- gain a majority in the fall which not out of the realm, i hope they take a lesson in realizing people want them to behave seriously and do serious things and i don't consider this the most serious of efforts. >> maybe why, you are free now but with the congress,. >> item breaker wasn't elected to the senate i would've stayed there. [ laughter ] >> there you go way you look at the polling, congress get some of the worst off, 19% i think was the last one we had on that. may not want to make sure he touched on this a number of democrats out there warning of president trump is reelected he has talked of being a dictator and talked of being revengeful, here's a little bit from the left and we will hear for the former president to. >> trunk road and debra during the score i have the congress and supreme court's, i own this
6:50 am
all, i am a dictator. it's very reasonable to assume that's where he's headed. >> people were actually worried about being thrown in jail or grabbed in some sort of extra do just hold the tension. and i think it's -- as crazy as the sensing i states america i think people should really consider that these or possibilities. >> here's what president trump said when asked about these accusations. >> number 1, they are wrong, has to stop otherwise you won't have a country. we can have the stuff go on because you know what? when biden goes at everyone says by and then he gets indicted two days later and they go after him? the country doesn't want that, and he didn't want with hillary clinton either. >> what you make of the back and forth? >> trump has said even before about hillary when asked specifically about put her in jail line is that would be too divisive this has been a consistent position of his for
6:51 am
years now. and no points has he made or create an action or made a point of saying i'm going to be a dictator i'm going to throw everyone in jail. it's been the opposite. and of course you have the left using the media to trying gaslight people. the fact of the matter is biden has joked about the find the supreme court's on the student loans. on that decision he's joked about it. only president trump is the one who's been on trial and faces being put in prison which many including i think that they will in fact try to incarcerate him in some fashion. it seems a little like projection considering the nature of what's been going on and i think it's a shame but the american people can see the difference and trump has been vocal about this consistently that what they are saying is sadly not true. >> we'll have a couple seconds as hunter biden testify next week? out that he does, do you? anybody? >> i think he should. >> he's a second greatest liable time so now.
6:52 am

6:55 am
with my four kids and my wife and our dog even living in a hotel doesn't matter because we know only butter 125 people people still in god and that -- gaza. this is the hardest event, the hardest thing to do. >> shannon: and not knowing for sure. i want to ask about your ribbon and the necklace you have that we in the us would call a dog tag but i think it's very similar in israeli culture what it is. >> in israel and has different name. when you serve the army you get one with your number. with your personal number in the army. now here in english it says bring them home now. in hebrew it says. [ speaking alternate language ] which means our heart is connected to gaza. that yellow ribbon is a symbol again, to be with the kidnapped
6:56 am
people and their families and friends. as a symbol and we know -- they know we are thinking about them all day long, all the time. >> it's incredible difficult people who were taken some have not survived as we know and we continue to find out there is hostages that have not survived their captivity with hamas. what is your message here in the us as you visit? >> we need to get help from everyone we can first of all, to bring everybody home. >> what you make of the conversations on going because there have been some releases, can israel negotiate with hamas on these things? are they a reliable actor in these negotiations? >> i think the problem we have is we have some targets, not one. it's very difficult to know when you have some targets what to do first. i think he is really government thanks first need to win the war. i think we lost the war on the 7th of october. we lost that fight, the battle.
6:57 am
bouctouche when the war, first it's bring the citizens back it's not soldiers, and civilians taken from their homes. to win the war, first bring them back. then, we will deal with gaza. >> you grew up there right there on the board with gauze that your entire. can you envision a future in which you can live peacefully and feel safe on this border? >> i feel hope so. i'm an optimistic. okay? we need to change something. i still don't know what. but i know we can go and live the same way we do. [ sirens ] >> now and my kids hear a siren, for example,, they think terrorists are coming. we are refugees and our own country, i don't know when i will go back will take time physically and mentally, but when we go back and we want to go back, this is our land, our home.
6:58 am
>> do these really people feel supported by the americans? >> i want to thank yes. the majority thinks united states, you help us very pretty much. i met with many, many people these last few days from the congress, senates, and i feel the love and i feel we are together in this occasion because it's not justified between israel and hamas. it is between good and evil. >> shannon: thank of assuring your story with us we appreciate it. >> thank you. >> shannon: since we sat down of course we learned of the amazing rescue of the four hostages in gaza so he sent us a statement he says we are very happy for of our captives were rescued by the idf, yeah, we must never the job is not done. we are still missing a hundred 20 hostages we need to bring back home fast. we continue to call upon the national community for help until all of our families are back home. we thank him for his time. just a quick note to my podcast is out, livin' the bream, i sat
