>> all righty. taking a look at our weather around here, we had a few showers out in san jose. we showed you some video of that earlier in the newscast. you'll see it again at 6:00. pretty interesting. a little bit of cell activity or subtropical moisture moving through the area. this is live picture showing you kind of what's left out there. most of this moisture is further south. this will of visible satellite and radar depiction. and you can see over here by livermore, we've got a cell that just is popping off out by tracy. a few scattered showers still most of it now up into the foothills or in the hills. and again, this this pattern, if i can pull out all the way, i can't really see that much. but that swath of some tropical moisture, which kind of lines like this is kind of just going to linger around through tomorrow as well and push more clouds over the area where there'll be a chance again for a few scattered showers, maybe even some elevated dry lightning . so we'll keep an eye on that for you. chances are you won't see anything, but somebody could write. it's one of those real hit or miss kinds of patterns there right now. temperatures
5:49 pm
where they are about where they were yesterday, maybe a little cooler around the bay. well, it's 1 degrees cooler in concord, 11 degrees cooler in san carlos. so that's more than a little cooler. the travel forecast through the microclimate shows the low 60s out of the beaches. fog is going to be a thing the next couple of days. certainly as you would expect in summer. and it is summer, but you'll find your temperatures doing what they do once you get over the east bay hills, out in the livermore valley, out towards mount diablo, you're into the upper 80s, low 90s, and it's going to kind of hover. the temperatures are going to be upper 80s, low 90s pretty much through the week and towards the weekend. what do we got? well, you can see that some tropical moisture. so it kind of filtering up and it's coming up. that's a dying tropical storm which you've read about in the news that is producing this. as the showers move through the area and mainly now around bishop and mammoth lakes. but again, lightning strikes, fires always a concern. the model tomorrow morning. there it is. there's that there's that moisture and then it kind of kicks it out. so tomorrow morning tonight tonight
5:50 pm
early tomorrow morning maybe something. and then you see the fog footprint indicating a cooler pattern or a mild pattern or a typical pattern for this time of year. in other words, there's nothing extreme except for the showers. i mean, that's kind of extreme for us, right? and then you see tomorrow's forecast specifically, the clouds waft through, maybe a sprinkle from that fog at the coast and temperature footprint like that. so fire danger always high. the air quality always something to think about. but there's nothing really looming out there other than that. some tropical moisture that throw a little fly into the ointment. the forecast highs tomorrow, almost like they were today. and then five day forecast. and you will notice a little bit of humidity as well with this moisture because again it's coming from a tropical storm. the forecast there it is for the next couple of days. i see you back here in a little bit at six. we'll upgrade the forecast okay. >> thank you so much bill. appreciate it. all right. the nhl draft is just days away. and the san jose sharks, who have the very first pick this year, are talking about what they're trying to add to the team.
