small business is half of the economy in america. one thing that no one realizes is that when i got elected, i decided to employ the law for what happens when a president bends money for congress. he should hire american workers. that is what i am doing. i want to make sure that 20% goes to minority businesses. it is the growing economy in bringing the nation together. >> joining me now, assistant democratic leader the national co-chair for biden's 2024 re- election campaign. thank you for coming to the sunday show. the president said in that clip that he got black voters back. do you think that they will

supreme court stopped him, he charted out a course on four other fronts. let me say this about two of those programs. the income-based program and the one based on public service. going forward for the next four years, every two months, another 75,000 people will be eligible to have their student loan debt forgiven. 50,000 income-based for those who provide public service. joe biden has done what he has said he will do. let me say one other thing about that. nobody blames joe biden for what the supreme court did with

reproductive freedoms. the supreme court did that. why are we blaming joe biden for what happened? the supreme court did that. they got rid of the effectiveness of the voting rights act. we all know that. joe biden did not keep his promise. he passed the bill in the house with three boats in the senate. joe biden is doing everything he said he would do plus more. i think he has had our back and i believe that we will have is back in this next election. >> congressman, i will hold you a little bit longer. yesterday at the rally, i interviewed west moore and

the president had this to say about benjamin netanyahu. listen to and we will talk about it on the other side. >> do you have a redline? with the invasion of raphael, would you having page him not to do? >> the defense of israel is critical. there is no redline. the redlines that if he crosses. we cannot lose 30,000 more palestinians. >> today, prime minister netanyahu said that he will defy that redline. what will that do to the relationship between president biden and prime minister netanyahu? >> that could very well rupture that relationship in a

really bad way. i'm not surprised at all about netanyahu. the president, just like the members of congress, the vast majority are very supportive of israel. i believe that most members of congress like most israelis are not in support of netanyahu. he put together a bunch of minority groups under the parliamentary system to get into the prime minister ship. he does not have the majority of the people in israel and the majority of the people in this country. this allows him to do what he is doing. he will say to netanyahu, you

it's official, donald trump has solidified his takeover of the republican national committee. the man replacing her is north carolina republican michael raleigh who embraces the big lie. the disgraced ex-presidents daughter-in-law was named his co-chair. the new leadership is even more maga than the last. the campaign arm should put his legal bills associated with his civil and criminal indictments. he has not specifically said if he supports that but he has made it clear that he will allocate resources for election

having a role in making sure that the execution and implementation of where those dollars go happens the way that donald trump wants them to happen. when you hear people say that no matter how strongly words are that they use to say it, there will be no dollars going to donald trump's legal defense, that is a lie. there is a myriad of ways in which those dollars can be used and siphoned off and repurposed, if you will. i'm telling all the good reporters out there, call those reports. you have to look at the thing that pops up that was not there before but is now. there are a lot of different things you need to be aware of. and one final point on that, they are members that do not want these dollars to go in

volunteers that serve as poll watchers. you see them standing outside with signs saying to vote for my candidate. those roles are within the required boundaries. they are not part of the official process. what we saw over the last year was that the rnc made efforts to get some of these people trained up so that they can be moved inside the building. the objective remains the same. i remember on a number of shows raising this particular fact to watch how they are operationalizing this aspect of what would be poll watchers into voting volunteers. people who are working to process people's voting. looking at voting records and confirming with ar, versus what the document says.

it's unfortunate. i advised people to go and look at videos of senator britt. she is really good and very effective. it would've been very effective as an individual to respond. they tried to create something that verged on the stepford wives. it was unfortunate because that is not who she is naturally. again, one more reason why the response after the state of the union has to go the way of the dodo. that is the only thing that can do it. it's not a good look. >> chairman steele, icu, i respect you, i must tell you, it's time to go.
