evacuation camps and catastrophic living conditions. in december, one of our family members, sabri al-farra, was murdered in his home by an israeli air strike with his nine young children. his unfortunate wife survived. she was eight months pregnant. she was displaced to an evacuation camp where she gave birth to her baby boy one month later in january. her child, her newborn infant died 20 days later from the cold and the harsh conditions in. camps. today none of us are here for condolences, we're not here for apologies. we're here for immediate action. we have demonstrated that every minute signifies the loss of life, the starvation of a child, and so we need immediate and permanent, not temporary, permanent cease fire now.

gaza has reported that over 12,000 palestinian children have been killed in israeli attacks so far. that means one palestinian child is killed every 15 minutes. were about one out of every 100 children in the gaza strip. the most horrific scenes are also the bombed out buildings where thousands are buried under the rubble, most of them presume dead. for those children who have survived these really on slot, at least for now, things couldn't be worse than living without their families. according to onra, around 17,00 children in gaza are orphaned. they have to live the rest of their lives if they are. lucky enough to survive with the trauma of losing their loved ones, that also under the shadow of israel's crippling blockade. the span of israel's genocidal activities is not limited to gaza alone, elsewhere in the occupied west bank, at least 420 palestinians have been killed by israeli

8:38 am
used us-made ammunitions in its strikes on palestinians, despite calls for an end to military support and aid to israel, its key ally the us reaffirmed on that it will keep providing military assistance to israel, so apparently american missiles and bombs are going to continue to rain down on gazan children, yet there is a more gradual sort of masskilling of children in gaza with israel blocking the delivery of aid required to save children suffering from acute malnutrition. it's now crystal clear that the israeli regime is using starvation as a weapon again. palestinians in its war on the gaza strip, the united nations has warned of an imminent explosion of child deaths in the coastal territory with reports of a surge and the number of children, fatalities due to starvation. that's while israel has been blocking humanitarian aid from reaching gaza.

is already acutely malnourished. aid supplies, already sharply curtailed by the regime since the start of the onslaught, have dwindled to berlyy. trickle over the past month, swaths of the territory are completely cut off from food, gaza's few functioning hospitals already overwhelmed by the wounded are now filling with malnourished children. "there are cases of severe dehydration, this reflects negatively on the children, the mothers cannot breastfeed their children, we do not have formula milk and this has led to the death of children here at the intensive care unit. also in the nursery, there are numerous deaths. since early october, the tel aviv regime has cut off the free flow of water, food, fuel and power to the gaza strip, placing restrictions on the flow of international aid there. aid agencies..." like unra are struggling to help gazans who are under incessant israely bombardments.
8:41 am
ironically, the united states and other allies of israel continue to turn a blind eye to the regime's indiscriminate aerial and ground assaults on palestinians. ordinary people, not a statesman, are horrified by images of dead and wounded palestinian children and women. that is a proof of these countries complicity in the israeli regime's crimes, as they keep providing it with. weapons were blocking funds meant to alleviate the suffering of palestinians. south africa is once again asked the international court of justice to take additional emergency measures against israel the regime's genocidal war in gaza's south. africa urged the world court to take immediate measures to stop an imminent tragedy and save gazons from dying of

starvation. it also warned about the threat of a looming all-out famine in the war ravaged territory. pretoria urged the world court to force israel to take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of the desperately needed humanitarian in gazets that such measures must be taken without new round of hearings because of the extreme urgency of the situation in the coastal territory. in case filed by south africa in january the ice. j had ordered israel to refrain from any acts that could fall under the genocide convention. the islamic resistance in iraq has launched a new attack against israeli targets in the occupied territories in support of the palestinian people in gaza. the iraqi resistance says it is targeted kiriyat shamona airport in the north of the occupied territories with a drone earlier this week. the resistance targeted israeli port of hyfa twice hitting a facility and power station its airport using drones. the islamic resistance in iraq says
