hello and welcome, you're watching world news on press tv, coming to you live from our headquarters in tehran, thank you for joining us, my name is gisum shahmedi and these are top stories this hour, it is almost six months since the israelis launched a genocidal war on gaza, the regime's war planes and artillery keep pounding the base strip cause more deaths and destruction in 24 hours. four civilians including journalists were killed and 16 other people injured after israeli war planes struck the vicinity of alaxa marters hospital in the central gaza city of daraldbala. several areas of gaza city were also shelled and bombed leaving two people dead and 10 others injured. meanwhile four palestinians including two children died due to starvation in. adwan hospital in the

northern strip, number of deaths related to femen and malnutrition has gone up to 34, including 31 children, over 32,800 palestinians have lost their lives and some 75,000 injured in the israeli war on gaza that began early october. gaza's. ministry says israeli forces have retreated from al-shifah hospital after weeks of siege on the medical complex. the ministry says dozens of bodies were found at the medical complex after the israeli pull up. the facility has been completely out of service since the regime burned it down. the gaza governant says more than 4,400 people that is have been killed in the area since israel began its attacks on the health facility on march 18th.

hamas says heinous crimes committed by israel at this hospital reveal the true nature of the fascist regime. the resistance group holds the us government responsible for the israeli atrocities. meanwhile, iran's foreign ministry spokesman says media reports on the scale of destruction at al-shifah hospital and the torture and killing of palestinians there are appalling. nasir khanani called for an international investigation of the incident and our news review program, we discuss the latest developments at aldashifa medical complex. let's take a listen. correspondent joining us from darbala to give us the latest on the genocide that's occurring and also mcnapier. i will break it

down for us, he's the co-founder of the scottish palestine solidarity campaign who joined us from edinburgh. okay, welcome to you both, good morning to you muti uh, tell us what you have for us uh today, of course we know of the massacer that has taken place uh that that is now unfolded uh with all the diff uh, i guess bodies that have been retrieved, the dead bodies, tell us about that if you can also. this is uh the most important news that we have today, which is about the withdrawal at the retreat of the israel. ation forces from the ashifa medical complex and the surrounding areas of the ashifa medical complex, massive and unbelievable destruction and folded after the israeli tanks uh withdrew from those areas. of we are talking about trly to consecutive weeks of the brutal aggression that uh touched and reached everything there, according to the eyewitnesses and according to the people there and the medical staff and the civil defense cruise that the...

buildings inside the ashifa medical complex were completely or bartially destroyed in addition to those buildings that were set on fire by the israeli. ubian forces, the entire complex were reduced to a mass grave that included hundreds of the palestinian dead bodies, according to the medical staff and the civil defense crews that at least 300 palestinian dead bodies uh were found yubiquas in those areas inside the buildings inside the complex and outside the complex they found a plathora of the bc and dead bodies uh handcaffed and blindfolded, they were executed in cold the blood by the israeli incubation forces, those dead bodies actually uh include uh the children, the elderlies and the women, the the the whole people part particularly who were stranded

and who were uh besieged inside the ashifa medical complex, they were tortured, they were uh found stripped down by the israel incubation forces, as i've mentioned they were uh blood folded and had cuffed and they were uh executioned by the israeli incubation forces. needless to mention that even the surrounding areas of the shifa medical complex, the entire squares, the horizontal squares there were completely destroyed by the israeli incubation forces, kind of a loss for words here, because when i heard what our correspondent there said uh it is uh quite shocking um and uh we continue to get shocked by this genocide that's unfolding, mean this is happening in real time uh he's mentioned how there were 300 bodies that were recovered, there were uh many that were blindfolded, amongst them were women and children, and these are people that were trying to uh take refuge inside the hospital. um, so this is just really, it obviously defines the word genocide that's taking

place. what are your thoughts on what you just heard from a correspondent in terms of what has happened at the al-shifa hospital? well, my thoughts are very similar to yours that... "the horror is building upon horror and deeper horror every day, and one finds it difficult to find words and your reporter who does fantastic job, has to be congratulated for finding the words to describe and bring to us the the horror of what's happening. i mean, given what, given what's going on, and given that america has decided to continue to send more bombs to israel to drop on gaza.'" 'it's clear that as the price we paid for decades and decades of crime against the people of palestine, slow motion genocide over very long time, this was an open vein uh in the surface of the world and it was bleeding horribly, but given that this has

taken such a long time to to come to this horrible climax, it seems to me that the price we're paying for allowing this to happen for decades is that israel is dragging the world into a new era of barbarism, new darkness, and i think the ferocity of the of the killings, the the genocidal violence is caused by two reasons: one that they know that they don't have a long-term future, that ultimately 250, 300, 400 million people in the area can prevail against seven, despite their their modern technology, and there's a sense of this at the back of the israeli mind, but also they got such a fright after... during october the 7th, when the palestinian resistance they thought was was defeated, was broken, could easily be contained by their huge military superiority and and an air bridge of bombs from washington and also some from from britain and brussels, they thought that they could uh

that they could manage the situation and it's clear that they can't. we appreciate it, and also like to thank mc napier from the solidarity campaign in edinburgh, thank you. and with that we come to an end for this news review. and now to the occupied west bank where israeli forces have shot and killed a palestinin man over an alleged stabbing attack a settlement near the town of ashtad. israeli sources say that the at least three settlers have been seriously injured in this attack which occurre. a shopping mall, according to reports, regime forces fatally shot the attacker who was later identified as a man from alkalil. the incident came hours after al-qassim brigades, the military wing the hamas resistance movement republished a message from its commander, calling on

palestinians to use all of their resources to fight against the regime. hamas later hailed the attack as a natural response to the occupation. massacres in gaza and the west bank. the group added that the operation also shows palestinian's conviction towards resistance as the path to liberate palestine. earlier we were joined by our correspondent in ramalah for more details about this recent israeli operation in ashtod. let's take a listen. well, what what happened that speak about the anti israeli operation? 19 year old from the town of dura in al khalil, he works in that area near as. would when when he arrived at the shopping mall, he stapped

so on, so that is one part of the israeli aggression against lebanon. hezbulah had also later on sunday targeted two israel units uh using artillery fire, one in mutele, another one in almanara post uh and of course had earlier used drone attacks against several of the areas, including one recent post in the shabab farms area, and now like i said, it seems to be somewhat calm, you have lot of talk within the israelis and among them about the the warnings that a future war with hazballah would not be something to be taken lightly, despite the threats from the leaders, you have lot of experts within the israeli regime that are calling on the leaders to postpone any war or not to basically go to a war with hezballah since they are saying that any war with the... group in lebanon could be detrimental to the israeli economy. in today's show we'll be

iran has granted pakistan an extension of the 180 day deadline until september 2024. if islamabad fails to provide favorable response by then, teran will initiate arbiteration proceedings at paris based international court, seeking damages totaling 18 billion. us dollars. iran has already invested two billion us dollars in the pipeline, known as peace pipeline its side of the border. iran has completed 95 to 96% of the work on the gas pipeline. the ministers from both countries are engaged in talks for the completion of this vital project. we have been waiting for pakistan's response since 2009. we hope that the ministries from both sides will show their seriousness and will. complete it without any further delay whatsoever. tehran has assured islamabad of its cooperation not only in the field of energy, but also in fostering barter trade
