"and we also have international coordinator of the samadun palestinian prisoner solidary network, charlotte cats joining us from vancouver. welcome to our guests, uh, let's start off with mr. hughes and belfast, more palestinian civilians are being slaughtered as the israeli attacks across gaza continue almost 39,000 people, mostly women and children have been killed in cold blood since last october, and what's really her?" this is

that there's still not been any global intervention to prevent more innocent deaths, all condemnations have fallen short of any action. yes, it's obvious that the west doesn't cur, it's obvious that the wast is following the united states foreign policy, which is in full approval and walking tandem with the israeli gasale on sort on gaza. now the magazine in britain which. represents the british medical association of doctors uh has claimed that there may be up to 186 version i believe deaths in gaza, so i don't deaths and injuries uh believe that these men, women and children, nearly all non-combatant uh civilians, you mentioned hope for peace, you can only have peace when you have two saves you want to sit down and come to some form of negotiated settlement is... really with the

backing of the eu, britain, france, germany, america, canada and others do not want peace, they want to destroy the total infrastructure of gaza, they want to make it on andhabitable, previous israeli ministers have said they bomb gaza back into the st and orn gaza into a car park, and we are witnessing those very words being put into practice every day and the civilian tool in the... and injuries uh is almost uh essential to the israeli uh full intent which is to destroy every building, every school, every hospital, every educational system, every food, storage, worse, every un facility, anything that is made of bricks and more and serves as a public service is going destroyed, let's focus on the issue of us completely. city in

this genocide uh the us has announced plans to resume shipping 500 pound bombs to israel despite the american public outcry to stop arming the regime. um it's been basically said that washington has given israel a blank check signed in palestinian blood. uh there has to be point uh where even the staunchest of support of israel have to think how much support is just too much. mean you except that, however, the fact is that this is a us zionist genocide, and it has been since the beginning, the united states views the zionist entity and occupied palestine as essential to its imperialist project in the region. it views the zionist project and its continuation and its survival as key point for its own strategy for the future, and we know that this is a strategy of a declining empire a dying empire that is facing down and is facing defeats. around the world and is no

longer able to exercise unipolar or hegemonic control over the world, so we know that this is the reality in the united states trying to save its declining empire by throwing... billions and billions and billions of dollars in weaponry and bombs to slaughter the palestinian people in gaza, to arm and fund design genocide that is taking place right now, to attempt to attack the resistance movement from yemen to lebanon to iraq, to syria, to iran and beyond that are struggling and confronting zionism and imperialism, and these war crimes, the blood of the palestinian people is on the hands of joe biden, it's on the hands of camala harris, you for that... it's on the hands of donald trump, it's when we look at the democratic and republican parties today, we see nothing but clear unanimity, uh, clear commitment to us imperialism and therefore a commitment to zionist genocide, and of course that comes in direct contrast to what we see in the streets where we see students uh taking to their

campuses, creating encampments, facing intense police brutality and violence uh filling the streets with tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people to say that we don't want this... side, because the fact is that most ordinary working class people in the united states don't want imperialism, they don't want this method of relating to the world, they want something new, and we that's why we say that, it's the resistance forces in palestine and throughout the region that are right now on front lines, defending humanity against us imperialism and zionism. mr. hugh, lot of criticism has been directed of course at arab governments for their inaction and passivity in the faces ongoing. many believe that a concerted effort by some arab governments in the former sanctions, cancelling normalization agreements and etc would have been necessary, why is that not happened? it hasn't happened because itself,

we have a concoction of stips that were born through the agreement of 1917, we have countries jordan that have king. that uh helped uh to defend israel against the uh operation promise from iran when all the drones were fired, the jordanians took part in uh providing a missile shield for uh israel, you have saudi arabia that has been very close to israel many many years, you have morocco, you have iran, you have k, you have other countries there that are running and with the zana state because uh some of them look to america and look to the west for their defense, it was france and britain that created many of these countries in 1917 at the height of the first world war, we had the b for agreement which created the israely ship within the borders of historic palestine so you have historic parallels going back as

far as the first world war that has allowed states to come into being that are not for democracies but of kings and monarchies, they are faithtoms and power is... from one generation to the next, from the king to the prince to the and further down that kind of genetic name, so as long as those countries to the west, i don't look to the east, we will continue to have a divided ur, and that is part of the reason why israel exists today, it is there as a cancer in the body politics of the region in order to destabilize the region in order to so chaos and discord among the arab uh uh islamist nations of the region if they would only come together and if they would only sanction israel is israel without american and western support would collapse like host of parts, it has been proved from october 7 onwards that without america supplying nearly every fider

jet, every bomb, every message, every tanksaal on behalf of the really zanist government, israel could not for probably seven 10 days, it's ultimate threat, it is nuclear power, but sort of abusing nuclear power, there are enough uh, there are enough powerful regional countries uh that can come together and totally isolate uh, the fact that they don't want to do and the fact that they continue to use the death of palestinians for their own political ends such as uh erdogan and turkey proves these people are just acical hypocritical just as tooth and just as deceatful as the politicians in the west. charlotte, kate, um, let's focus to some of the uh, turn our focus to some of the realities on the ground. israel is using starvation and hunger as a weapon of war. talk to us about the motives behind that, how is fighting hamas and the resistance in any way tied to inducing famine

and hunger on palestinian children in gaza? well, we've seen time and time again that this is a genocidal war, this is a genocidal assault against the palestinian people as a whole. uh when we look at videos for example of confrontation of military confrontation, those are the videos that are coming from the resistance forces, they're seeking out the zionist occupying military. to destroy their tanks and to confront them wherever they are, at the same time, what we see from the zionist forces are bombings of children playing football in a schoolyard where they have taken refuge, what we see from the zionists are bombings of the tents of displaced people raffa, what we see from zionists is the encirclement, sie and bombing of hospitals from the north to the south of gaza. in other words, i mean that the purpose of that attack on palestinian healthcare was a genocidal purpose in order to deny palestinian access to medicine. to healing and to the care that they need in order to survive, that was a purpose of that assault

on palestinian hospitals across the board, assault that i should say was laundered and sold to the western public as well by uh imperialist government and corporate and mainstream media even though it's all it's been discroven from the very beginning and now we see these report after report from palestinian doctors who were captured and seized and abducted by the dietist dr. education regime and taken and subjected to extreme forms of torture, assault, sexual abuse, station, of all forms in the city at detention, the concentration camp, the zion has established for the thousands of palestinians that they abducted from gaza, so when we look at the way in which the dinis have carried out their assault, it has always been quite clearly a genocidal assault, targeting residential buildings, reg camps, schools, hospitals, um, and we see that with every single new massacre that takes place, what we've seen is the targeted assassination of palestinian officials who have taken responsibility for the distribution of food aid, we see incidents like the flower

massacre where people who are lined up to collect flour uh that's being distributed as aid are specifically targeted, we've seen the systematic targeting of palestinian and international aid workers in palestine, so all along this has been a genocidal assault, they're not, it's this is not an attempt simply to attack the resistance, and in fact they failed to achieve their military goals, they constantly state that they're having. that the that they've defeated or eliminated the resistance and then they go back to area where they presumably eliminated the resistance only to be confronted with heroic resistance fighters destroying their tanks in the streets so they completely failed to achieve their military goals, what they are trying to achieve is the goal of zitism which has always been the case since before neckb and after which is the destruction of palestinian people and same question to you mr. hughs uh from looking at from another aspect around 16,00 children have been killed, many more have suffered other types. of harm such as loss of family, hunger, psychological traumas and losing out on

education, the un refugee agency for palestinians is now warning that an entire generation of children could be lost if this onslot continues. what's clear now more than ever is the israeli onslot and massacre is not just against the resistance, as miss kates just mentioned, but it's a genocide against all of the palestinians in gaz. do you see it in that light as well? yes, absolutely, i mean israel is a colonial uh. step: it's following a template which has been used many many times previously. if you look at what happened to the indigenous population in north america, in canada, in australia, in new zealand, all practically weighted out because the colonial policies of israel as a policy of replacement, and in order to replace the indigenous population, you must displace them, so they are displacing them, they're using uh starvation as a weapon of war, by using uh pants. by using torture, by using imprisonment and by using genocidal campaign of murder. read an

article there that stated that uh is really uh tank shells or munitions are being uh fitted with like an outer shapnel shell and that children especially are presenting to the hospitals with a miniature 2 millimeter uh entry and 2 millimeter exit wound to their limbs but the damage that it does internally because this is some form of shrapnel, proves that what they're trying to do is eliminate as many women and children as possible, indeed, i think it was said that he would be uh happy that women and children uh were murdered or executed uh to prevent them becoming the terrorists of the future. this is the mainset of israeli society, society which now has been giver as the preferred new leader of any new connessit born from a uh election in israel, israel society is brainwashed, it is sick, it is moved from

being racist and uh xenophobic to being fascist and genocidal, and we are just witnessing the outporing of this kind of uh mass psychosis that seems to have gripped the nation of their lives or the only important lives, the lives of the hostages which they want released, all 120 of them uh are are cannot be compared. to the 37000 plus uh women and children and probably uh elderly men who are so far officially uh counted in those among the dead so we have a sick great. doing fascist genicidal society occurs nothing for palestinian laves and when you have ministers saying shooting women and children okay when you have netnyahu mentioning amalic where you could murder all the people under farm animals and anything that sustainsm and you have people like uh smoke and bgiver b giver i think or smoke

claim that the village in the west bank harawara should be wiped off the face of the earth how can there be peace? the lebanese resistance mov at hezbolah has conducted um fresh missile attack on israely forces in retaliation uh for the regime's war on gaza as well as its attacks on southern lebanon tensions have been running high along the southern's border ever since israeli regime launched this genocidal war break down the escalation of tensions there and whether you think the israelis are willing to risk a full-blown war with hez at this point can they really afford? uh at all, mean fundamentally, the lebanese resistance has taken meaningful action to support palestinians fighting to end the genocide in gaza, and and the leviese resistance movement has made clear that what they want to see is an end to the genocide, and of course at the same time, as they liberated the south of

lebanon in 2000 in a way that has paved the way for the further intensive. development of the resistance throughout the region that they're also committed to defending and liberating every inch of levie territory and stopping these ongoing uh assaults and attacks by zionist forces against lebanon and for that matter he attempts to target the lebanese resistance in syria as well and the ongoing bombing attacks of of the cyanist regime against the the syrian people it are appalling and outrageous and illegal in every sense of the word um and so the leviese resistance movement has actually taken such meaningful action that it has, emptied portions of the north of palestine of its soldiers and settlers, that are aimed as this offensive force against the palestinian people and the lebanese people, and so far, aside from once again targeting civilians in the south of lebanon, the same way as always their operandi of the zionist regime, and of course trying to target um hizballah fighters

and leaders and commanders for assassination, once again a time practice of the zionist regime that has failed to destroy the resistance in palestine, lebanon or anywhere else they have tried this tactic. uh, the fact is that when we look at what the zionist army is confronting in gaza and their inability to suppress the palestinian people's resistance in gaza through nine months of genocide. it's very clear that they are not capable of taking a confronting such powerful resistance movement in a sovereign state that has established its sovereignty has liberated its land. of of zionist colonialism, particularly the target and in the targeting of the south of lebanon, the zionists want to are also engaging in a psychological war, at the same time the zionist regime presents a seous threat everyone in the region, the science regime presents a serious threat to lebanon, it presents a serious threat to palestinian to palestine, it's a syria to to the entire

region is constantly under threat by the existence of this genocidal, warmongering, imperialist, illegitimate settler colonial project implanted in the region that has no purpose except to constantly make war and see to subjugate all of peoples and nations of the region, and so right now um, it's also very clear though that despite that being their goal, all they have is kind of this technologized weaponry that's being provided by the united states and develop war criminal corporations in resign of military industry, they don't have the ability. to stop powerful, well-armed resistance movement like hezballah that has already liberated lebanon once of them and defeated them again in 2006. frau's islamic resistance in iraq continues its attacks on israeli targets and occupied palestine, the yemen armed forces retaliatory attacks continue as well. they recently conducted series of precision strikes against

israeli and american ships in the arabian sea and the gulf of aden, how do you assess the response from the resistance front in? region to the gaza genocide,ana correspondent said that most of the anti-israel attacks by the yemeny army have in fact come in coordination with iraqi resistance groups. i think it's important and gaza is being carried out the with the help and with the assistance of britain, france, germany and america. the is the only people sitting around a desk somewhere planning the execution and murders uh in gaza, so what we need is a unif resistance, we need the actus of resistance to... speak with one voice and to act uh in in accord uh with each other, i think really what i would say with the access resistances when we watch israel uh hel to account in the
