harlan crow, by the way, is a long friend of clarence thomas.ribed as a republican megadonor, but they'd been friends for a very, very long time. so there's a personal friendship that he has. i would also point out since you raised the cases, harlan crow is on the record as saying he is pro choice and he's also no big fan of donald trump so people often draw link between crow and thomas and his upcoming cases. but in this case, i don't think he's going to be finding a sympathetic ear for his personal views with clarence thomas. and that's not even really the issue. the issue is their friends and they'd been friends for a long time. >> yeah. >> so okay. we're godless of the politics of the person. i think what people look at and they're kind of, they kind of have a sayyed is that when it's a supreme court justice going on major lavish trips that are funded by a billionaire harlan crow is a billionaire and not saying anything about them. and i think that is where the questions have been, kate and so on this issue even if it's not something that is
