we go now to kron 4 s charles clifford, who is outside the mayor sheng thao.d 6 thursday morning, federal agents raided the home of oakland mayor sheng thao. according to neighbors, the mayor's boyfriend apparently opened the door and left the agents in the postal service and the irs were also involved in this search. agents could be seen removing boxes and containers from the house. the rate at the mayor's home was one of 4 searches federal agents conducted on thursday. they also visited the offices of callaway solutions along the market there. a way in oakland that business is owned by the dewine. family agents also searched 2 other homes, one along skyline boulevard and another on view. crest court, both of which are also owned by the dwellings. as for the reason for the rates, the fbi released a statement on thursday saying only that the fbi is conducting court authorized law enforcement activity on maiden lane. we are unable to provide additional information at this time. but sources have told kron 4 that the search may be related to federal investigation

the caldecott tunnel caused a major traffic backup tuesday kron. 4 charles clifford has more.unnel caused a backup that extended for miles and lasted for hours. this is video of the scene sent in to kron 4, according to the california highway patrol just before 10 tuesday morning, there were rports of a truck on fire about halfway through the eastbound second bore of the caldecott tunnel. 40 cars were trapped behind the fire with black smoke coming out of the tunnel. the oakland fire department, the california highway patrol responded to the scene within minutes around 10 11. the second door was closed and eastbound traffic was diverted into the first 4 caltrans activated blower fans inside the tunnel to push out the smoke. 75 to 100 people who have been stuck behind the burning truck, walked out of the tunnel on foot. firefighters were able to reach the fire by crossing over from bor want to bore 2. they've been extinguished the fire quickly. it took several hours to remove the cars left behind and clean up the burned truck. the highway patrol says the exact cause of the fire
