contra costa county looks great. so does the south bay, with a little predictable slowing for north 101 through san jose. so we'll jump up here a note as we look ahead. overnights may still see some lane closures, alternating lane closures for highway 37 in either direction because of that roadwork. the paving that was done eastbound. it's reopened over the weekend, but there's still some striping work to be done and a little slowing westbound. that's the morning commute. that's all predictable. we know about that. we look ahead to highway four, where we're seeing more traffic coming in down through concord. so walnut creek will see more traffic at the interchange with no major slowing over here we see a little blips. richmond. pinole coming down. hercules westbound 80 builds the volume toward the toll plaza where we are actually starting to see a little build up already. it's been about five, maybe seven minutes since those metering lights were turned off. so this backup or the slowdown is starting pretty early, but
