this is south of the embarcadero 5th avenue exit. you have three oil barrels still in the middle of the road, and you've got at least three protesters attached to the barrels. when i say attached, they've got their arms in the barrels. the protesters sent an email. 280 pounds of concrete in each barrel. it's not clear how the arms are still inside, if they're latched onto something or encased, but you can't get the protesters out without cutting through the barrels with metal grinders and saws and using the jackhammer that chp is uing now. they have the brown tarp. the protesters in the foreground with the blue headset on, and they have the tools. they were using a jackhammer to get through the concrete. the yellow jackhammer there. once they get through the concrete, they're able to pull the protesters out and take them into custody. it takes time. the last barrel took 30 minutes or maybe longer. they've been working on this barrel since 11:00, so 20 minutes. hopefully they'll get this one done in 10 minutes, ideal, but they have a
