so that's the spot i've got to keep an eye on oakland right now 74 heyward yesterday. up to 96 degrees. we're going to do a little better for you today, but this is where the extreme heat is likely to happen and notice it is actually around the bay. we've got moderate risk of that today. and that is because that marine layer is relatively compressed. and so it's really not protecting those areas around the bay that might otherwise kind of get a little more of that moisture in to kind you know, moderate that heat as we get into tomorrow. notice this pulls back a little bit and then we work our way towards saturday and sunday. we really lose any of the heat risk that we're going to cool it down for the weekend. even getting slightly below average and many spots. but it's where that got up to 96 yesterday. this is the improvement you should see today. still a warm day, but a high of about 85 degrees. that is a big difference. so a step in the right direction and will keep stepping a direction as we head to tomorrow friday, saturday and sunday. so live look from the east b
